Thanks for a delightful stay for our family party of 13 last week. We would recommend this as a beautiful place to stay

The location is terrific. The staff are very attentive. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The food and breakfasts are incredibly tasty and fresh. The family rooms are perfect.

The pool in my opinion was too warm with no shade over the pool. A shade cloth over the small pool would be perfect for keeping sun off little ones whilst swimming. There are great umbrellas over the chairs for shade. And through no fault of the hotel the barking dogs at night were very loud and disruptive even with ear plugs in. In saying this I did get used to it over the 5 days and noticed it less.

Really nice boutique hotel with the most helpful accommodating staff

The staff were the highlight of my stay here, they are so accommodating, the manager Wayan runs an excellent team who really look after their guests. They even took me to where I needed to go by motor cycle and arranged for a motor bike and driver for my day trip on Nusa Penida. Wayan was a very special person, he was so kind, one night he dropped me to dinner and picked me up late to bring me back to the hotel! Thank you Wayan! Rooms are modern Bali style and clean and beds are comfy. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing is Bali style Bathroom have gaps on the sides which let mosquitoes in but you can ask the staff to spray the bathroom everyday when they clean the rooms. Breakfast is basic, could be better choices

Nice, peaceful stay

Pool area is really nice and chilled, bedrooms are spacious and the location is 10 mins scooter ride from the main beach area

Rooms are slightly outdated maybe, bedrooms give a traditional feel which was nice but the bathroom was semi outdoors - wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Great location and service!

The property was in a great location! It was a 5-10 minute scooter ride from everything. The staff was very helpful and provided great service!

Our villa was located right on the main road, so there was a lot of road noise as well as noise carrying from the other villas late into the night. The Wi-Fi only worked for us in the restaurant/reception area and pool.

Professional, well run establishment with lots of Bali charm.

The staff were extremely helpful, present and professional. The grounds were very tidy and well kept. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean and modernised, with great water pressure in shower. The location was fantastic - just a short walk to Mushroom Beach.

Beautiful stay at Bale Gede

Friendly staff, especially Wayan who was always helpful and gave advice. The cleaners were swift and efficient. Room was comfortable and excellent air conditioning. Small fridge with mini bar and a safe. Beautiful pool with sun loungers. Delicious freshly made food in restaurant, Bale Gede need to be advertised the restaurant better, as lot of people walked past and missed out. We were able to hire scooter from Bale Gede. Highly recommend, we will return!

Only sold beer or coke at the bar.

Wonderful! We had a great time! It was our favourite place out of the whole trip. Loved it!

Beautiful pool, comfortable rooms, fantastic friendly and helpful staff. A short walk to the beach at Mushroom Bay (we had a 2 and a 7 year old in tow and it was fine). We hired scooters from the accomodation to see a bit more of the island (not everyone might be confident doing this with kids, but we felt fine about it).

The bathroom facilities are perhaps slightly dated if anyone was nit picking. But they were clean and perfectly sufficient. It didn't worry us at all. You are on an island after all, and by Bali standards they were great!!

Highly recommend staying here, will definitely be back!

Great location, huts and pool were beautiful and clean, breakfast was great, staff were so accomodating especially Wayan! Organised transport for us and also very cheap moped hire.

Hot water didn’t last long in the shower but it didn’t go completely cold, was fine for bali weather anyway.

Everything was perfect! Literally! The room was exquisite, the bathroom was fantastic, and the pool was the cleanest on Lembongan. Breakfasts that were included were just the right amount, and with a wide variety. Just fantastic.

Nothing! I wouldn't change anything about this hotel and the whole experience!

Our stay here was great! During our stay the staff were all super helpful and made everything so easy - from hiring bikes, to transport, to offering suggestions of where to go! They were all so friendly and made our stay great. The room was also great and food was really good too. Would recommend!

Up until now our best hotel on our Indonesia trip. We felt welcomed and can definitely recommend this hotel!

Wayan was a great host. He helped us with everything we needed and even brought us to the harbor. The hotel facility is very clean and sweet.

Please put less chlorine into the pool.

Lovely hotel and staff!!

Exactly as shown in photos. Very nice and simple. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Organised transport for us and were always happy to help with any questions. Room was tidy, topped up with plenty of water. Lovely outside seating area.

Didn’t seem like we could eat dinner at restaurant if wanted. A couple of the breakfast options included a surplus charge. Water in minibar costs but this was not stated on price list (not expensive though).

A lovely place to stay near the best beach…Mushroom bay.

Lovely wooden bungalows a short 5 min walk to the gorgeous mushroom bay. Great smoothies and smoothie bowls. Nice big pool to jump into at the end of the hot day and staff were wonderful and helped us with taxis and fast boats etc. We would definitely return,

Maybe a bit of soundproofing on the side road at the back of the bungalows but it didn’t really bother us…..

We had a great time at Bale Gede. The rooms were clean, pool was nice and the breakfast was tasty.

The restaurant could use some refurbishment, as it seemed a bit worn off.

great place to stay on Nusa Lembongan

Lovely little rooms - we had two rooms for our group of three and they had a connecting door which was great. Very comfortable beds. Mini fridge also an added bonus! Pool was great too. The staff are great, especially Wyaan who was so helpful and welcoming at our stay. Location better than we realised too as everything we wanted to see was a very short scooter drive & Mushroom bay and nearby restaurants are in short walking distance.

Excellent value and great location

Excellent location and very close to the mushroom bay harbour. I’d advise asking the hotel to assist with pick up and drop off. The staff are very friendly.

The AC isn’t strong so we found the room to be very hot and humid, it was quite uncomfortable sleeping but we may have been unlucky with that particular room. I’d suggest guests bring ear plugs as the rooms are behind a main road (the bathrooms are partially outdoors) so you can hear a lot of street noise, cars, dogs barking and chickens in the early morning.

friendly staff and good vibes

Wayan and the staff at Bale Gede were super helpful and lovely. bed was always made before we got back from breakfast, food available was also delicious. they were able to supply us with a scooter as well for a reasonable rate. room was super comfortable and the air con was amazing! would definitely go back

outdoor furniture a bit weathered and the spa is no longer operational. located in Mushroom Bay but a long way to walk with bags in the heat.

wonderful friendly place to stay with great staff, comfy beds and a lovely clean pool

the little bungalows were so sweet and beds very comfortable, I was grateful for the mosquito nets too. The pool was great! a welcome addition in a very hot place! staff were super friendly and accomodating and the food was good.

for me, without a scooter it was a bit far from the main beach Jungutbatu and then a 10-15 min walk to any other beach down the dusty hot roads but that’s just because I wouldn’t hire a scooter.

the owner is very friendly and helpful with all our questions and took us anywhere we needed on the island. The breakfast and whole restaurant were great, so was the pool area.

Enjoyable, comfortable and would recommend.

The breakfasts were simple yet very good. The staff, led by Wayan, were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Great pool and comfortable rooms in Balinese style.
