Thank you Massimo for sharing your beautiful home! We had a great time and enjoyed the apartment .

The apartment is absolutly beautiful,comfortable and has a great view !There was no breakfast at this locaton but it had a full kitchen if you wanted to shop and cook your own .The grocery store was close and open all day.

The location was way up high in Taormina with a gorgeous view but it was not easy to walk up to or park up there.Its worth it if you are physically fit because the apartment is beautiful, well kept,clean and in a good location. Just beware that its a hard walk up.

Great clean apartment

The apartment is big and has everything you can probably need, even more than you need. Massimo is a great host, and he is keeping the apartment very clean. Apartmentt is a 3-minute walk from the Taormina pedestrian zone.

The last 50 metar to the apartment are uphill 🫤

Massimo is a kind generous host and the house is huge and beautiful, well built and finished, cosy.

Massimo met us and assisted with our luggage, the kitchen is well appointed. Lovely terrace.

Loads of stairs to get to apartment but view is great! Would have been fine if it wasn’t so hot!

I would definitely come back here again, especially for our gracious host Massimo

We were a bunch of 5 girls arriving late in the night, Massimo had offered to pick us up from Catania airport. Although we got there much later due to bad weather he & his wife were patiently waiting for us. Massimo on the way to Taormina checked if we had eaten & also made a call to get us some pizzas for the night, but since it was late the ovens were shut, we picked up Tiramisu instead! The best I had eaten!!! He carried all our luggage up to the apartment, which was a very steep climb, you would know if you have been to Amalfi Coast what I mean by steep! We told him we could manage our luggage, but he insisted like a true gentleman. Although the ungodly hour, he still took his time & explained us everything patiently. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, the location not far from the city centre (10 mins down & maybe 15 mins up, depending on your fitness levels). It was a spacious apartment with all amenities you could possibly need! It was close to the hustle bustle but the apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood, so best of both worlds. A small grocery store close by for any urgent needs, a pizzeria that delivered, the funicular to the beach was supposedly close although due to bad weather we didn't go to the beach. Massimo also made some recommendations on bars, eateries & restaurants, which were all top notch! Taormina was the last leg of our trip, we were all very tired by then, the apartment was thus perfect as we got to fully enjoy lazy mornings & relaxing evenings on the terrace. On top, Massimo was the best host I have ever had, he helped us with all our queries, and let me tell you there were quiet a few...

Frankly, the steep climb was a bummer, especially after a long day, but the view made it worth it.

incredible view, very spacious, well laid-out, the kitchen is fully stocked with high end pots and pans, it is very quiet and just 5 minutes on foot from the Corso

Spacious house near the center of Taormina and the local attractions.

Our host was very friendly and helpful and had great recommendations. He also did a very nice cooking class for us and we learned to make some amazing local dishes. Close to supermarket, town and restaurants and had its own parking bay.

Access might be difficult for people to carry their luggage up to the house.

Beautiful apartment with sea view

Good host, spacious and clean, has everything you need as if at home. Quiet and good view, sun rise is especially attractive. Close to shops and restaurants.

Road to house a bit steep but fortunately just a short climb.

Beautiful apartment with stunning view

This is a beautiful apartment with a view that is spectacular. It has every possible facility and our host simply could not have been nicer or more helpful. He even organized a same day visit with his doctor for me when I developed bronchitis,

There is only one issue with the apartment. If you or anyone in your party have any mobility issues you simply cannot stay here. You would never be able to get up the hill and the steps to the apartment. Similarly, if you are afraid of driving narrow streets and up really steep hills in a car… then this may not be for you. It is so lovely it is worth the effort but if you can’t do these things then this apartment and maybe the city of Taormina itself may not be for you. It’s charm is the hill it is built on but if you can’t walk or drive up or down it.,, you must sadly go someplace flat.

Great location, fantastic views, very nice host

Great location of property, in the midst of Taormina, with fantastic and sweeping views of the sea below. The host was very accommodating and helpful, check-in was easy and a delight, he even drove our car thru the tiny streets to the parking spot. The apartment is huge, very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds in both bedrooms. The steep hill-climb up to the apartment kept us in good shape after eating all the delicious food in town.

There were no screens on the windows to keep Mosquitos out. Would have been nice to keep windows open at night instead of using AC all the time. The TV and stereo equipment are seriously outdated (TV 35+ years), you can't connect tablets or phones to the equipment. An upgrade of the TV would solve that issue and let folks watch programs other than the local Italian channels.

Exceptional

Our host was very kind. He picked up us from the neighborhood and drove us to the house. He helped us with our luggage and showed us the house. The house was exactly what you see in the description. The house was very cozy and really felt like we were at home. Our favorite place was the spacious terrace facing the ocean. It was wonderful sitting outside and enjoying the breeze from the sea. The kitchen was cozy and clean. We cooked some simple but delicious meals there. The location was very good, very close to the city center.

Not really. But Taormina has many narrow streets, which would be very challenging for non-local drivers. Big and wide cars will face difficulty getting around. The house is situated within a private area with a main gate facing the street. You would have to walk a bit uphill with stairs after passing the gate to reach the house. There were stairs but it was not a problem for us. We have family members all >60yrs (no joint problems, not active either) and they were able to walk up the stairs. Once reached the house, you would need to lift your luggage a few stairs to reach the doorstep. But again, it was not a problem for us at all. The house itself really was worth all the effort. Overall, I would recommend packing light.

Very good

Loved the view and living area and kitchen. Bathrooms were good and everywhere was clean. Great walk in wardrobe.

The steep hills to get to apartment from centre although only a 5 minute walk Bedrooms a bit dated.

Exceptional apartment and host

The apartment has the most beautiful sea view across Taormina. It is very spacious and beautifully furnished. The facilities are perfect. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as exceptionally well equipped kitchen if you feel like cooking. The living space is huge as well. The terrace is very large and lovely for eating or lounging on. Most of all, Max is an exceptional host, with lots of useful information and very kind. He took us from and to the airport, which was ideal, even stopping at Catania fish market, which was very atmospheric. We also arranged with him a day trip, including the most beautiful trip to Etna and one of the wineries, also stopping at Castlemola, which was just amazing. I loved that the neighbourhood of this property felt Sicilian rather than only being a tourist place, while the town and all facilities are on your doorstep. Perfect holiday.

The street leading to a property is steep. It was fine for us, more like a little daily free workout. It would not be ideal for anyone with mobility problems.

Highly recommended and will book again the future

Very nice house as well as the facilities. Very big living room and kitchen. A lovely balcony that you could have a glare of the beautiful see far away. The owner of the house was very friendly and helped us to check-in at the very late night.
