This place was gross. Smelt like mold and very unclean. After walking around the bottoms of our feet were black. Things were falling apart in the room.

This was just a stop over trip on our way to New Orleans. Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and the room was clean. The only drawback for me was that the beds were pretty hard. Other than that, I would give this hotel 5 stars!

Our stay at the this LaQuinta Inn was average. First thing, the clerk only gave us one key to the room. Our room was located far from the elevator. The ice machine did not work on the second floor. Our hotel keys never did open the side doors during or after business hours. The water in the shower had low pressure causing us to take an extra long shower to get really clean. The hotel had an old smell. I would not recommend this location.

The property was very dark from the outside. When we arrived we saw people sleeping inside the cars and we told the receptionist, she called the police and indeed, they were not guests of the hotel and they left. Lots of trailers outside. there is not even a chair in the room

Booked the room in advanced using hotels.com, like always. Got non-refundable room, not an issue, we have stayed before. This was the 3rd time we stayed here and we're hoping to be able to use the hot tub again. "Hot tub was closed for the season." That was literally our main reason for staying. (We came in October 2021, November 2022 and then yesterday). It's hard to find a hotel in Mobile, AL that is reasonably priced WITH a hot tub. We get in around 7:30pm and much to our surprise there was a now REQUIRED $250 CASH DEPOSIT. (Guess new management rules?) Hotels.com did not mention that. They did NOT have an ATM in the lobby to use. Had to drive to the gas station and then sadly the gas station's ATM was broken. The cashier there told me to go by the KFC in the next parking lot over and there would be a big blue stand alone ATM. Sure enough, it was. Charged $4 extra. Came back and put the $250 on file and was given a paper receipt NOT signed by the lady, Brooke, who checked us in. (Guess management signature?) Yes, was able to get deposit back the next day as Brooke said, upon turning in the paper receipt to a diff hotel clerk. Did not get the extra $4 back from the ATM charge, though....Breakfast was delicious. Overall this was a very disappointing stay.

My room had roaches. My son saw the first one. Then 2 more came out. I called the front desk and was told I could either check out or they could check me into another room. I was only at the hotel about 7 hours. The desk attendant stated I would get a full refund.

Check in was easy and the associate was very nice. This is a older property in need of a gut and remodal. Our "Deluxe King" was nothing but a lot of empty space with worn and dirty furniture. Window curtains that are falling off the hangers so the window cannot be covered completely for privacy. (We were on the first floor.) Dirty bathroom floor. We could see ghost footprints on the floor from bare feet. Can assure you we only wore flip flops or shoes in there! This is only the second time we chose LA Quinta and both times the properties were worn dumps. I'm done with the brand and their parent company brands. Never again on second chances!

Room smelt like mold, noticed trash behind the dresser, pillows felt like lumpy grits, bed had a hallow spot (over used), the worst was I had to go to the bank to get a $150 for a deposit. The booking site took money for a deposit but they wanted cash only… very sad that I had to leave and they couldn’t take it from my business debit card. I tried to get my deposit back in the morning with my wife still sleeping and they said they couldn’t let her sleep in. That I had to go get her out of the room to get my deposit back. You would think that a business in 2023 would be better organized. I will never stay at any other LaQuinta hotel after this experience!

Everything went well until the housekeeper arrived at 3 p.m. to clean the rooms on my floor.They've been opening and closing really loudly for about 2 hours.The sound like a ball smashing against your wall. When we leave in the morning.We notice a housekeeper begin cleaning the room next to ours, which is much quieter than previously.

Bathroom is for kids, too low and a seniors like us after ten hours driving, need confort not playing kids, we stud in La Quinta San Antonio Airport and they do have high toilet and counter for seniors confort. My opinion if you don’t have rooms for seniors I’ll never stay again

Whole property needs to be updated. Smelled of chlorine when we walked into the lobby. All of the furnishings and finishes looked tied and worn, very noisy air conditioner. It didn't look like the online photos.
