Beautiful 2 floor Italian designed getaway on the quiet shores of Oneida Lake in Cleveland, NY. This apartment is a first and second floor unit. There is a separate unit (Vista Two) located below. This gem has stunning stone kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms. Perfect for larger family with plenty of room for privacy. Recently added air conditioning to upper level. The views are picturesque and the house is just as beautiful. There was plenty of room for my family and the house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The only takeaways were the air conditioning and the toilet paper. It was not listed that this home had window air units. While they cooled the house nicely, upon arrival it was over 80° in the house. I suggest they should be turned on prior to check in, especially mid summer. We had plans to cook upon arrival and had to order out because it was far too hot in the home. There are 4 bedrooms and only two of them have a air unit in them. Lastly, the one ply toilet paper was like sandpaper after a few uses. While we were happy to have some, we bought our own. Overall, we would definitely return with a couple of minor adjustments

The pictures on the site absolutely do not do the property justice! Incredible views, wonderfully clean and well-appointed and everything you need to make the stay truly memorable. Mornings and evenings on the deck were great! The lake views of sunset were beautiful and the mornings peaceful and tranquil. Just what we were looking for! We have booked another stay and can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous, private, safe (during Covid 19)
We loved our stay. First off, Doreen told us that she is renting only one unit at a time due to Coronavirus risk. It was such a relief, we thanks Doreen for taking this precaution. Place was clean, well stocked and very private. Grocery and supplies are within 5 miles. A marina above it 3 miles away rents boats, jet ski etc.
of course the most fun was just wading into the water in front of the house or taking one of the kayaks / SUP board. Fire pit was additional attraction.
We loved the view from the house directly over the lake. Pictures on the post don’t do justice to the beautiful setting. It’s a tasteful decorated house, maintained very well. We loved our stay and want to go again next year.

The house is stunning. The view is gorgeous!!! The house is spacious with plenty to do. We did a adults only couples retreat with some family and close friends. Between the set up of the house, paddle boards, fire pit, kayaks, tv, jacuzzi, deck and dock it gave us an opportunity to do our own things during the day. The kitchen which was fully equipped allowed us to come together as a group to have our large fest. The owners were fantastic with communication. They also have a nice binder filled with local places and activities. We will be booking annually!

A relaxing retreat
The week long stay at the house was awesome. It was the perfect getaway for my whole family to simply relax and enjoy the peace. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big plus for use to take a spin on the lake, and the only regret was we didn't get a chance to enjoy the fire pit due to a high winds on few nights. All in all, excellent experience for a first time VRBO customer.

Amazing
The house is beautiful, access to the lake is so easy. Doreen answered our questions almost immediately. We were very happy with the entire experience, and we will hopefully be back!

Terrific accommodations for a quiet week at the lake
My family grew up coming to the North Shore of Oneida Lake regularly, so now that we live out-of-state, we were glad to find this rental for our 5-day extended family vacation. My sister's family rented the downstairs, and we took the upstairs. We (myself, wife, and two young daughters) were exceptionally pleased with the accommodations. It is a beautiful home with all the modern conveniences you would want. The views of the lake from the living room, dining room, and deck are simply spectacular. Our kids loved that the kayaks were available to them, we took advantage of that every morning. We all can't wait to come back next year!

Great place to stay and great location for us. Only thing I didn't like and didn't realize was that other people can rent out the basement. Every night we could hear there conversation like they were in same room as us. Also they had 2 boats as we did which made parking awful. 4 boats in one driveway was a nightmare especially trying to get turned around with a boat hooked up. Other than that it was a beautiful place. Only about 2 mile to the boat launch we needed to use. Not many restaurants around. There was as few but no chain restaurants. Joas pizza up the road was really good.

4 stars for the home, -1 for the downstairs neighbors
Overall, we enjoyed our time at the house because we were together with family. Beautiful location on the lake. Kitchen was well equipped. Linens were clean. We were a bit bummed that the entire house was not air conditioned. Having renters in the lower unit diminishes the appeal of the home. In our case, they were loud and heavy smokers. This limits the enjoyment of the deck or keeping the sliding doors open. We would go back in cooler months if the lower unit was not rented.

Beautiful Property
We really enjoyed our stay. This beautiful house was clean and well kept with amazing views of the lake. We spent a lot of time on the deck drinking coffee and watching the stars. Doreen responded promptly to any questions we had. We will be back!

This condo is gorgeous. It was everything I hoped it would be. The sun rising and sunsets were breathtaking. And the home was equipped with all our needs. I would recommend this condo to everyone.

Wonderful lake home for a peaceful and relaxing holiday
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was very relaxing and very peaceful.
The location was nice and quiet and the kayaks/paddle board were great. We had a very nice stay here. My kids loved being on the water and enjoying time outdoors. The decor was very nice and there was plenty of room for my large family to spread out and relax. The kitchen and outdoor grill met our needs and allow us to cook all of our meals "at home". The kitchen has the essentials needed but you will want to be prepared for , but not much extra.
Only a few things kept this from being 5 stars:
- The jetted tub in the main bathroom is still out of order (as of late June 2019). It is unclear if this beautiful bathroom will be fixed, but as it stands for our visit (and looks like a few others in summer of 2019) the bathtub is out of order. However, the upstairs bathroom has a shower. This did not create big problems, but it is different than what we expected and thought we would be using.
- This unit does NOT have a central air. The listing shows "air conditioning" but this refers to a window/room unit in the main living room area. The entire unit does not have central air and fans in the bedrooms are used to help keep the air flowing. This house itself is awesome, spacious and beautiful and you probably won't spend much time upstairs in the bedrooms. So it's not a big issue, but [again] it was a bit of a surprise for us--especially when we arrived and the in-house temp was about 84 degrees. With windows open, and fans going , it cooled down and it was not bad in the evenings. It is my understanding that most rentals in this area do not have central air. This is different than what I am used to where the summer climates are much harsher. Just something to be aware of.
Overall, we loved our stay and the place is very nice. If we travel to this area again, we would certainly come back.

Amazing location and views. Great for lake relaxation!
We loved our stay here, no complaints. Property was clean and very well maintained and comfortable. Perfect lake views, nice deck with chairs, beautiful kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Beauty on the Lake
This was our 2nd year we stayed in this beautiful condo on the lake. Love our breakfast and dinners on the deck overlooking the lake ! My only disappointment was that the jacuzzi was out of order but Doreen was very accommodating !! Very beautiful place to stay!!
