Situated in Katoomba, this lovely cottage for £117 per night is a great option for your next break. Country style cottage situated in a tranquil part of South Katoomba. Be at home in the rustic western red cedar interiors and exposed beams for that romantic mountain lodge feeling. This three bedroom cottage is split over two levels and is equally suited to families, couples and small groups. The main level has two bedrooms, open plan living, dining and kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Ducted gas heating throughout. Upstairs you will find a spacious third bedroom/playroom with toys and a second television to keep the kids busy. Celebrate the great outdoors and explore the English-style cottage garden, beautiful in every season. Birdwatchers can delight in the abundance of King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Cockatoos and other bird life in the area - attract them to the backyard with the native bird feeders and watch them up close! Relax in the backyard in the warmer months and cook up an Aussie storm on the BBQ. Take a stroll through the bush behind the property, down to pond to feed the ducks or take bikes down the old Catalina Raceway for the kids to race around the track. Just a short walk down the hill, the Katoomba Aquatic Centre has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym and a large children's play centre. The cottage is a short drive to iconic destinations; the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Katoomba Falls and Scenic World; and a few minutes drive to Katoomba supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Our family enjoyed a stay over the Christmas weekend. The check-in process was very simple and smooth and the house was nice and cosy. Claire was always so prompt to respond to any questions we had too.

Gorgeous little cottage which was located centrally in Katoomba close to everything. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit. House is well equipped and spacious enough for a few days. Our teenage boys loved the loft area and were very comfortable there. Would come back again!

Perfect accommodation for our first time in the Blue Mountains. Quaint, cosy and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. Having an attic space that the kids could spend time in made the house feel really spacious. Our boys (9 and 11) loved the native birds that visited each day. Great location to access all parts of the blue mountains attractions and hikes. On the warmer days we walked down to local pool which the kids loved. We can’t wait to come back again.

Lovely property with well appointed kitchen. The available spices and oils are a great touch. Good location on bus route and a short walk to some great lookouts around Katoomba. Beds are very comfortable and can guarantee birdsong every morning from the locals. Claire was very responsive as a host. Would definitely stay here again!

Our little family stayed at The Bird House for 2 nights. The cottage is centrally located in Katoomba and it was a delightful point for us to explore the surrounding area including a number of popular tourist destinations like Scenic World and Echo Point, which were all within 10 minutes of the house. The house itself is well-appointed, clean and charming. The kids especially enjoyed the upstairs area, where they were able to have their own space to play. We will definitely stay again!

From the initial booking until checking out, the hostess was absolutely amazing! The cottage was beautiful and had all you could possibly need including seed to feed the beautiful birds. Couldn’t recommend the property more highly! AAA++++ Would love to live there permanently!

The property is in a wonderful, central location to enjoy the Blue Mountains and get out and about - with restaurants, bush walks and shops nearby. Whilst at home, the kids were able to play games in a space that was all theirs (upstairs), watch movies or safely play outside in an enclosed backyard.

We just loved our stay at the Bird House. The cottage was so clean, warm and inviting. My kids loved being upstairs, playing with the toys and having lots of space to play. A gorgeous & cosy cottage, very well equipped and super clean. It’s ideal for families with a spacious and inviting attic offering plenty of room to play. A short drive to Katoomba shops and the swim centre is less than 5 minutes walk away. We love all the feathered visitors in the garden and the host is fantastic! We keep coming back :)

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It has a great space upstairs for the teenagers to chill out in. Warm house thorughout. Well equipped kitchen. Great location near the aquatic centre and only a few minutes drive from the supermarket. Would stay here again!

The bird house was perfect for our little family. It was immaculate, decorated beautifully and cozy and so welcoming! We immediately felt at home here. Our 9 year old daughter loved the loft ( so did I!). The location was great....we went for a swim in the local pool which was just a couple minutes walk and even walked into town for dinner one night. It's hilly (but not too far) so be prepared to work up an appetite! We hosted a little lunch for my mother-in-law who turned 90 and she really loved the space too. And true to its name on the last morning the birds came by to hang out in the garden. Our daughter fed them out of her hand they were so playful and friendly! I adored this home! The owners were communicative friendly and accommodated and early check in for us too. Thank you for making our time in the mountains so lovely. We will be back! Stacey

House located convenient location for shopping. Enough space for 4 people. 2 adults and 2 children. You can feed a bird in the morning. It's a good house for relaxing. I am very happy with our stay.

This was a neat little cottage perfect for ducking in and out of as we attended a conference in Katoomba and enjoyed near by walks. House was well supplied with kitchen staples, a good sized fridge for our week long stay.

We had the most wonderful time at Bird Cottage. It’s a beautiful cottage in a great location. Everything you could possibly need has been provided, and the little extras such as the birdseed for the visiting parrots and cockatoos, make it that extra bit special. Claire was really helpful and very prompt to respond to any queries we had. Highly recommend staying here.

This was the nicest property we have stayed in on a getaway. It was extremely clean and well equipped. Its in a great position and the visits from the Crimson Rosella's and cockatoos was such a treat for the kids. The kids room upstairs was our kids dream! A lovely stay, would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous cottage garden with plenty of pretty visiting birds to feed. Excellent location to many attractions and walks whilst in the Blue Mountains. Would highly recommend to all.
