Situated in Stalida, this lovely house for £126 per night is a great option for your next break. Villa Asterias (80 square meters) is an elegant and spacious villa, facing east in a privileged wind-sheltered location in the Bay of Stalis with magnificent views of the Cretan Sea. Although only a few minutes away from the village center, Villa Asterias' location is calm and tranquil. To the beach it is just a short walk down the road. The villa's charming, contemporary interior is set in the Cycladic style with typical white-washed walls. The fully equipped kitchen offers all modern appliances and is open plan, directly connected to the sitting area.

Very comfortable accommodation and a very responsive host. The availability of a fine meal just a few paces from the door made life easy. If I returned to Crete, this is where I would stay!

The location to the water was amazing, just a few steps away from the door. This property was a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach area (which was great for us). The unit had a roof-top patio which we enjoyed daily. This unit was exactly as expected for a budget minded stay in a beach town.

A great location, just in front of the sea where you can swim easily.
There is a restaurant right next door but frankly it is very quiet (no music).
One thing was missing though: cotrary to what is said in the presentation, there is no washmachine.

We can't say enough positive things about this place! Joanna was so wonderful. Responsive, gracious the ultimate hostess. Answered questions and was always available for us. WE LOVED OUR STAY!!!! It is definitely on our list of return places. OPA.

This apartment by the water was very, very nice. We loved being close enough to hear the waves breaking just outside our door. The apartment is spacious, with a modern feel, very clean, and well taken care of. We enjoyed lounging on the roof-top patio overlooking the water and the whole coastline--so pretty in the morning and and at night too. Although we rented a car, we walked to restaurants most of the time. We used the car for day trips, and there was ample parking very close to the apartment--less than a minute away. One night we ate at the Romantic Corner restaurant, which was right next door--the food was great. On another occasion we ordered takeout appetizers from them, and they delivered it right to our table in the apartment. They were very friendly, and would ask us how our day had gone when we would come back in the afternoon. We would definitely book this place again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Stalita. Joanna’s place was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and a perfect location. It had everything we needed and the views were spectacular from every room and the rooftop deck was a lovely place to sit and relax. We (family of 5, including 2 teens) really enjoyed our 4 day stay at the cottage. It’s nicely decorated, spacious and light. The location is perfect. The sea with rocks is across the ‘aisle’, where kids could take a swim whenever they wanted. The walking boulevard in front of the house is quite busy, on the other hand the roof terrace is very private with wonderful bay views. Stalis is within walking distance. A nice Greek family restaurant is located next door. Joanna was a helpful host. All perfect ingredients for a wonderful stay. We hope to return some day.

Toles Haus in wunderbarer Lage!
Wir waren sofort begeistert als wir diese Unterkunft im Internet gesehen haben und das Inserat entsprach auch komplett der Realität! Das Haus liegt am Rande der Bucht, man hat die Ruhe und den tollen Blick aufs Meer, egal von welcher Terrasse. Wenn man aber möchte ist man in ein paar Minuten zufuß mitten im Touristengeschehen. Das Restaurant gleich nebenan wurde unser 2. Zuhause :-), sehr nette Menschen und leckeres Essen. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen

Amazing stay, couldn’t find anything better in Stalis. Just few steps away from the sea, had a morning and a evening swim every day! Schönes Ferienhaus mit wundervoller Aussicht
Wir haben eine herrliche Urlaubswoche auf Kreta im Ferienhaus von Joanna verbracht.
Das Haus lässt kaum Wünsche offen und von der Dachterrasse kann man den zauberhaften Ausblick auf das Mittelmeer und Stalida genießen. Der Sandstrand befindet sich etwa 5-10 Gehminuten entfernt im Ort. Man kann aber auch quasi direkt von der Haustür aus über ein paar Stufen ins Wasser gehen.
Der Ort ist verhaltmäßig ruhig, bietet aber jede Menge Möglichkeiten den Gaumen zu verwöhnen. In direkter Nachbarschaft ist eine Taverne, die mit leckeren, regionalen, frischen Speisen und Getränken zum abendlichen Verweilen einlädt. Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs sind in kleinen Märkten erhältlich. Ein größerer Supermarkt ist im nächsten Ort.

The Perfect Spot
This place was the best and the host Joanna was excellent as well ! It is the perfect location while staying on the island of Crete!!! It is located right on the water next to a romantic restaurant and part of a nice little town that you can walk to every day!!!
The accommodations were even better than advertised and we loved this place!!!
We will be staying there again in the future!

Although this is the offseason for the village, we still highly recommend this home for its great seaside views and basecamp for your north coast adventures. Joanna was a very kind and gracious host. The home itself was very clean, well laid out for guests and very comfortable.

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus am Meer mit nettem Anschluss zum Restaurant Romantic Corner
Das Haus liegt quasi direkt am Meer (nur durch einen kleinen Weg getrennt). Hier hat das Meer Felsküste, aber 10 Meter weiter kann man mit Schwimm-Schuhen ins Wasser bzw. ca. 50m weiter über einen Steg mit Leiter. Der Sandstrand von Stalis ist ca. 300m entfernt. Das Haus selber ist einfach aber schön eingerichtet mit 2 Schlafzimmern (oberes Schlafzimmmer mit grossen Fenstern, Ausgang auf Terasse und Meerblick).
Klima-Anlagen für oben und unten, sowie Bad oben und unten, unten noch zusätzliche Toilette. Unten ebenfalls Terasse zum Weg (der Weg wird von den Urlaubern in hinteren Apartments/Hotels benutzt). Obere Terasse allerdings sehr ruhig.
Das Restaurant nebenan ist sehr gut (jeden Tag frischen Fisch) und mit sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Leuten. Oben an der Strasse ist noch eine Bar (war aber auch Ende September sehr ruhig). Weitere Restaurants ab 50m Fussweg auf der Strandpromenade. Bars, etc. in ca. 300m Entfernung.
Wir hatten wunderbare ruhige und gemütliche 14 Tage auf Kreta und haben fast jeden Abend im Romantic Corner gegessen :-)

Super schönes Plätzchen mit tollem Ausblick auf's Meer und Stalida. Direkt neben der Taverne "Romatic Corner", welche sehr gutes Essen und Ambiente bietet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
