Nestled in South Bethany, this lovely house for £239 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to the lovely South Bethany Blue Cottage, a renovated dog-friendly home just 1.5 blocks from the quiet guarded South Bethany beach. It is also just up the road from the dog-friendly (unguarded) Fenwick Island beach, and 1 mile to the Bethany shops and boardwalk. Sleeps 6. You must be over 25 to rent this house/ no groups. Non smokers. Dogs accepted on a case by case basis, please send more information on who will be staying and if you have a pet. This sunny beach cottage is bright and airy, and you will love relaxing on the screened in porch facing the canal, and watching the sun reflect on the water. It has everything you will need to enjoy your get away. Free wifi, a 42” smart TV in the living room with sound bar. A fully equipped kitchen and a large gas BBQ grill with side burner. An electric range and dish washer; a refrigerator-freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Fully quipped with dishes, bowls, cups, pots and pans, cutlery, utensils, and of course wine glasses! Vinyl plank flooring reminiscent of driftwood is easy-care. Painted throughout and installed new bathrooms in 2016. The open floor-plan makes it a great home for gatherings. The home comfortably sleeps 6+ in spacious and cheerful rooms. There is space for a crib (or two) in the master bedroom which features a brand new queen sized bed, and an ensuite full bath. The other bedrooms each have two twin beds in them. Air conditioning and ceiling fans will keep you cool. Baseboard heat in each room for the guests coming for a fall or winter get-away. New windows installed in 2020. Full sized washer/dryer in case you run out of clothes (but who needs lots of clothes when you are at the beach). We have a small dock for fishing or just sitting idly on the dock near the bay… Bring your own bed linens and towels, or spare yourself the trouble and extra laundry by renting a package from the local rental company (see links section) . They also rent out strollers/joggers, wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas... you name it! Driveway Parking for 3 vehicles, and two parking passes to park on the ocean side of the Ocean Parkway in South Bethany. Property is on the "bay side" of Ocean Parkway, directly on the canal. Supermarkets (Giant, Food Lion) are nearby for stocking up , the Dollar Store is 1/2 mile away for sundry items. The cottage is located halfway between Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD. This general area offers tax-free outlet shopping, water sports, mini golf, championship golf, fine dining, boardwalks, etc. all within walking distance to a half hour or less drive from the cottage. The Bethany Blue cottage is located a few blocks away from a shopping area which includes family style dining, gift shops, dollar store, a pizza restaurant, a gourmet cafe, some fast food options etc. Kayaks can be rented nearby on Fenwick Island, on an hourly/daily/weekly basis-- call 302.539.7999. Also, if you need to use a boat ramp, Fenwick Island and Assawoman are the closest ones to our house. Weekly/monthly rentals all year long. During the off season (October-May) daily rentals with a 3 night minimum stay.

This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is nestled just 20 feet from the Canal. A screened in back porch gives a wonderful view. The cottage is extremely clean and furnished with all you’ll need for a relaxing stay.

This home is exactly as described, if not better. On the bay, but a short walk to the beach. In close proximity to all restaurants and shopping area. The home was spotless. Great walking area for dogs, as there is very little traffic. Would definitely rent this home again. Perfect for families, or a group of friends.

Loved the property. Was perfect for my wife, chihuahua, and me. My only disappointment was the crabs were too small in the canal. Not the properties fault by any means. Would absolutely stay here again.

The house was the perfect size for us and our dog. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable; showers worked great. Location was convenient to beach and town. Able to ride bikes all over. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed to not catch any fish off the dock.

The light, “beachy” cottage had everything our family of 4 needed. Loved the quiet street, and the fire pit out back by the canal. Short walk to the beach, or a short drive to the dog friendly beach! Love to make a return trip!!

Blue Cottage was a nice little getaway for my Wife and I as we celebrated our 30-year wedding anniversary. Great location, nice property, South Bethany folks are super-friendly, and we (and dog) enjoyed walking the canals and the beach. Thanks!

good location with a short walk to the beach.The tv area is a little small for six people at once,but wasn't a big deal because we spent most of our time outside.The beds and chairs were very comfortable,and overall cleanliness was good.The wood steps to the front door were a little slippery for our old dog.We put carpet pads on our steps at our house and it helped.We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was great. But we were disappointed because beach access was shut down because or hurricane Ian. T he purpose of our trip was to surf fish and look for shells. We had to load our van and drive to get to beach.

Despite hurricane Ian, it rained most of the time, but the cottage was warm and cozy. Outlets were just a short drive and visited some shops in Fenwick Island. Had a nice time.

Simply perfect for our needs. The owners provided all of the essentials and the location was ideal for our dogs. We walked to the “dog” beach daily and enjoyed meeting other dog owners and of course the happiest of dogs running together on the beach. We brought our kayaks and explored the canals and bays. We drank wine by the fire pit while watching boats motor down the canal. Our neighbors were lovely and honestly and the September whether was ideal! We cannot wait to come back next year.

We enjoyed having direct canal access. We rented kayaks for the week and it was very convenient. Also, it is just a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and well equipped. The owners thought of everything you could need like extra hooks to hang things and places to charge your phone by the nightstands.

This was our first time visiting Bethany Beach and we had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s close enough to the beach that you could walk but we chose to drive and not lug all of our things across a main road. We loved that it was close to many great restaurants and the boardwalk. Dana was very helpful and responsive during the booking process and our stay! The home was clean upon our arrival and was homey feeling. It was overall a great stay!
