Activities available in the area include surfing, swimming, golf, biking, kayaking, kite surfing and walking. As the name suggests C'barn is a modern barn, built for the specific purpose of accommodation. North facing the barn is flooded with sunlight, incredibly spacious and with most of the comforts of home. Outdoor living at its best! Only 4.9 kilometres to the bustling village of Raglan. A 5 minute walk to the main swimming beach, with plenty of other reserve or mountain walks available. C'barn is a very special spot. This property was perfect for our extended family. Daily walks down to the beach for a swim, chats to the cows, lots of space for the dogs. The sleeping arrangements worked well for the 8 of us.. a very well planned home. A short drive into Raglan for supplies and a day trip to magical Kawhia. A most relaxing spot and not far from Auckland. Thank you Jean. It was a dream!

This was our second stay at the C-Barn and we have already booked a third. It is lovely place to stay. It is well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect for us as we love the amazing view and being able to walk to Ngaranui beach for swimming. It is only 10 minutes drive to the town and 5 minutes to Manu Bay. The negatives are cleanliness, a tired and small bed in the master bedroom, and the lack of shade outside. However, for us the positives outweigh the negatives and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Jean is a wonderful and giving host. We love her super comfy 'barn' (not a barn). Great beds and kitchen facilities. The views are amazing. Easy walk to the world class beach where we swam, boogie boarded and watched the surfing lessons. We will recommend all our travelling friends to stay in this awesome retreat.

Spur of the moment break when our planned holiday to Fiji was cancelled due to Cyclone Mal...we just needed to be by a beach! Views & beach access amazing. Short drive to town. Would definitely stay again :)

A thoroughly relaxing vibe at the c barn, and found the kitchen well provided for with pans, utensils etc, the view is amazing and jean was very helpful as our host. We would definitely stay there again

Large barn bach. Nicely decorated. Plenty of room for at least 3 couples. One shower can't be used due to inadequate water pressure but the other is good. The bach is on tank water so we brought bottled water with us. The kitchen is well equipped although you can't use the 2 hobs and little oven at the same time. There is a microwave and bbq. No dishwasher. Hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful. The bach is clean but does need some maintenance and a good dust. Location is fantastic! lovely view, rural and quiet, 10 min walk down the cliff to beach , 5 mins drive to Raglan township. We enjoyed our stay.

The property is wondeful. Great spot and really near the beach with amazing views. Stayed in the middle of winter and we were lovely and warm inside no matter the weather outside. Couldn't decide which couch or chair to relax in with my wine or coffee - time depending of course. Host is wonderful. Really quick to answer any queries - just a really lovely person. Would highly recommend!

The most magnificent setting and view! Loved the walk down to Ngaranui Beach and the beautiful surrounds! Jean was very welcoming and accessible. A wonderful spot to share with a family and pets.

A wonderful spot! We stayed in the middle of winter, with average weather. But the barn is in such a lovely spot which gives you a view of the rugged coast line. We drank wine and read books and had a spectacle show of the stormy weather. Comfy beds, well equiped, great selection of board games. Highly recommend for a dose of nature in any season!

The Cbarn is fantastic. Tucked away in the bush overlooking the Tasman Sea, it’s hard to beat a location like this. The barn itself is filled with character and lots of spaces to hang out, eat and chill. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great property, great views, close to the township (5 mins drive by car), close to main beach. twin beds downstairs in one room and a separate master and ensuite on ground floor, upstairs in open aitrium a sofa bed and tv then past that area another queen bedroom. Enjoyed the spacious lounge kitchen, great directions and host was helpful

Absolutely stunning setting with a perfect combo of beach views and privacy of farm. Great to be able to have a place that was not comfortable with out dogs and thefore we could just relax with them. Was great to be able to walk along the cliff with the view and down to the beach. Private and had a rural and bush feel but such a close drive into town or walk to beach. Host was amazing gave us privacy but also kind, flexible and checked we had every thing we needed. I would 100 percent stay again.

We had two weeks at C Barn. Our furry friends and family had a wonderful time. Perfect for us! Jean was amazing and when there was a problem with the water heating sorted promptly and thanked us with cake and wine for the inconvenience. We truly appreciated that. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely time and will certainly be back. The panoramic view of the sea and surf was mesmerizing, and the peaceful seclusion was the perfect environment for unwinding and relaxing. The location is perfect. The views of the ever changing sea and sky are awesome. We didn’t meet, but Jean was easy to communicate with and most accommodating. The “barn” is spacious, comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Property is something very special along with a gracious and kind host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our 19 year old only intended to stay one night but couldn’t leave deciding to spend the whole weekend she loved it so much. I would love to go again.
