Guest services let this property down

The accommodation was ground floor. Had a awesome coffee machine and smelt nice on arrival. Décor was modern.

The information when booking was very lengthy, so many DON'T do's on the email (I imagine this is due to past experiences)! But doesn't come across welcoming! The bathroom sink did not drain well. There were NO towels on our bed at arrival but there were on the other guests bed - we did finally find them in a draw, which makes me think they had been forgotten! For what we paid (which I felt was a lot) I rang the receptionist to see if we could check in early as I hadn't received the check in time! The receptionist said check in wasn't until 3pm - but we could see the room was cleaned and it had a lock box (so no cost required to the owner of the property to accommodate this request)! In order to check in early at 1pm it was going to cost an additional $65 and we'd paid over $500 per night! We did get a text an hour later saying we could check in (free) but by then we'd made other plans. Then on check out it was like staying at an airbnb not a motel, there were instructions to make sure all the dishes etc were put in the dishwasher (of course we wouldn't leave a place a mess) but dirty wine/coffee mugs left in the sink - should be their cleaners job for again what you are paying!

We had a perfect stay. We will come back. Next time we will stay longer

Everything was in the apartment. The bed was really compfy and there were 3 heater. The apartment was spacious. There was everything you need in the apartment. Nice view from the back of the apartment and quiet road

Exceptional

The apartment was excellent. We felt so welcomed, and we felt so at home. The space was warm, comfortable, and secure for our grandchild, which was a major factor as to why we booked the apartment, and we support recycling 💯 Absolutely great facilities we had everything we needed and more. We will definitely book with Longitude Apartments again.

We would have liked an earlier check-in time. Other than that, we were very satisfied with our stay

Made our visit to Raglan that much more special

Very tidy property with a real retro feel. Views of Raglan Harbour and a perfect location. 5 min walk to town. Would definitely stay here again

Great location

Fantastic location, 5 minute walk into Raglan, beautifully decorated apartment.

You could hear the people walking around in the upstairs apartment, it hadn’t been cleaned very well.

Over-priced, unfriendly hosts and dingy apt. There’s a reason it was last place available in Raglan.

Eclectically and overall comfortably furnished, with good shower. The apartment above was noisy late at night, and it was dealt with.

We got through traffic well and ETA had us in early, so called ahead and asked if possible to check-in early. This was approved subject an extra payment of $50, plus a $2.50 “card fee”, which had to be paid in advance, so we did. We got to accomodation 19 minutes before early check-in time, texted to ask for key code, to be told “only if you pay for another hour of early check-in”. I’ve never come across such behaviour in decades of travelling internationally, the hosts are clearly in the wrong business. Other Things to Note:- - Unbelievably poor hospitality (above), coupled with the very unfriendly terms and conditions email you’ll receive (most draconian I’ve ever seen), and frankly aggressive text communication, means you will not feel like a welcome guest, more an intrusion. - The apartment itself is a dark, claustrophobic space, being a converted garage under the main house. -it’s cunningly disguised but the property is on the corner of the main road into town, so traffic noise is very intrusive. -The beds are good, but the “linen” Is cheap and very nasty polyester. Take your own sheets. -No soundproofing, you can hear normal conversations from apartment upstairs.

Not good value

good location

The owners sent us many messages during check in that were quite intense on the fact they had rented their downstairs unit and that we were to be quiet, it made for a very uneasy stay. We were even text at 1030pm asking to turn the TV down when we were watching a movie at the end of the night. They also send you a message noting that they will charge you card should you do anything wrong. Being an accomodation host myself this made me very nervous walking around the house as there was even a message to say “don’t walk or talk loudly updaters” I don’t think they should be renting both units together. The apartments also over charged us for the stay. I hope someone has a better stay at this apartment than we did.

Overall it was a lovely place to stay, quite cosy and exceptionally clean.

The bulb was out in my bedroom lamp, and the outdoor light kept coming on at night, and didn't switch off for some time.. We didn't think guests should have to do the dishes..

The traffic was noisy even at night. I would suggest booking the lower apartment as it had the garden out the back which the top floor has no access to as we were reminded of when my friend went to have a quick look. They must keep a very close eye on the cameras they have at the property. Not sure how that works with guests privacy. The top floor has a balcony which looks onto the house next door..no view..I have stayed in Raglan at other places and this is the only one I would not come back to. And the most expensive

Location was good.

Having to wait till 30 minutes before getting a key code with no corrospondance about this. Having to clean up all dishes and accommodation before checking out.

Great spot, fab apartment, stunningly comfortable beds. Recommend.

Location was fantastic - a very short stroll down to the township

Loved the apartment - very well equipped with everything you could need. A couple of very small suggestions - perhaps a rubbish bin in the bathroom and some paper towels in the kitchen? :)

Be warned about the hidden cost and many house rules.

spacious, well appointed.

beware the 7% credit card surcharge. No reference to it when booking despite what owner said. no other option than to pay by credit card. won’t be going back again because of that. also lots ott rules when staying. Definitely not a relaxing vibe.
