About this condo rental
Located in Keystone, this charming condo for £169 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Summer time in the Rockies! Nestled in the woods of West Keystone, our Flying Dutchman condominium is an 1100 sq. ft. home with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the main floor with a loft/3rd bedroom with 2 more "full size" beds in the loft! Including the queen-sized sofa sleeper, the condo will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. The main floor provides ample living space. The dining area features a 6-person dining table and an additional long bar across the kitchen with 4 large bar stools, seats 4 more people. The combined dining spaces can serve 10 people. The condo features a ”rustic mountain-contemporary” finish. Updating includes, a hand trowel drywall texture, designer paint, wood floors, hickory cabinets, slab granite counter tops, SS appliances, heated tile flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen, flat screen TV's including one in the loft with an X-Box for the kids of all ages. There are several extra lighting fixtures in the condo including; lights under the long bar, under the kitchen cabinets and dimmer switches in the main rooms. There is a cozy gas fireplace with a blower to warm up after skiing. The fireplace timer-switch is located on the left side of the fireplace; turn it clockwise, to the right. Guests will find some board games in the game cabinet under the long bar too. Guests at the Flying Dutchman can use the year-round-heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, dry sauna, community BBQ and sand volleyball court. Take a short walk from the condo. The swimming pool & hot tub feature changing room with bathrooms and addtional private shower stalls too. There are walking paths through the community and surrounding attractions are abundant. Take a walk to the Snake River, just a short walk down the hidden trail beyond the sand volleyball court and across the road. During the Spring, Summer and Fall, find the Summit County paved bicycle trail system to discover amazing miles of scenic bicycle trails throughout Summit County, easily accessible from the Flying Dutchman. Consider taking a scenic gondola ride to the Summit house for happy hour from the base of River Run Village. Let's not forget about the "world-class" skiing, snowboarding, tubing and other Winter Sports! Skiers will find a short walk across the West parking lot, to the Shuttle Stop for a 7-10 minute shuttle ride over to the Mountain House & base of the Peru Lift!! The base area around the Peru lift is a great area for families, beginners and features the children's ski school with the "magic-carpet ride" too! The terrain park for snowboarders is just above the Peru Lift! Ski to the back side of the mountain, The Outback or River Run from here too. Enjoy easy mountain access from the Flying Dutchman! We had a wonderful time at condo. Plenty of space for 5 adults and a baby, nice set up with bedrooms. Good assortment of cooking and dining equipment, we ate most of our meals at condo. We loved the short walk to the river. Steve was quick to respond with information and answers to questions. We were aware a few days ahead of time and out of owner’s control but disappointed the hot tub was not working. Out only regret is that we did not stay a few days longer

Perfect size for our family of five. Central to all the sights we wanted to see. Loved the extras in the kitchen and bath. Very helpful for traveling and cooking at home. Thanks so much!

Everything was good. Drip in kitchen sink needs work. Evidently hot tub has not worked for some time. Very disappointing. Sauna and pool were nice. Location was great.

Great place to stay for a ski trip. The residence was fully stocked with necessary amenities, clean, and cozy. Very comfortable beds. Only qualm is that the hot tub was closed, but at no fault of the owner.

Overall this was a great property we would rent again. The shared pool and hot tub were down due to a boiler not working but a short drive over to the wild Irishman units was a fine backup.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flying Dutchman during Christmas. Plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Shuttle was convenient.

Very nice. Beds were hard though. I would add a topper to the beds. Also would get rid of Dish and use get a smart tv. Owner was very helpful. Nice pool and hot tub!

Great Place to stay!
We loved our stay here! Great location, and very quiet area. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Very simple check in and fast communication with property owner. Only downfall was the bed in the room with patio door, the bed is very squeaky can’t even roll over without it squeaking. But other then that we loved it here!

The property was exactly as described. Check in was a breeze. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We had 4 adults and 4 young kids with us. The hot tub, pool, and sauna were a hit! It’s a plus that the condo property maintenance staff seemed pretty on top of things. There’s also hiking trails just down the road without needing to drive anywhere. The kids loved that they had their own nook upstairs with an Xbox, plenty of games, and 2 full sized beds. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Kitchen has everything for a comfy living. Only minor suggestion. Pillows should be replaced for more comfy ones, and bed next to staircase was making a lot of noise to the point was hard to fall asleep. But again these were very minor inconveniences easily to fix. We loved this condo layout & cleanliness! We had 5 adults so plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more! It was also nice being on the lower level, very close to the parking lot, always had a parking spot! This condo is close to Keystone skiing without getting out on the highway & very close to shuttle bus stop if you don’t want to drive! We enjoyed the hot tub as it was just a few steps away from the condo! We would stay again!

Great condo!
We loved this condo layout & cleanliness! We had 5 adults so plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more! It was also nice being on the lower level, very close to the parking lot, always had a parking spot! This condo is close to Keystone skiing without getting out on the highway & very close to shuttle bus stop if you don’t want to drive! We enjoyed the hot tub as it was just a few steps away from the condo! We would stay again!

The property was perfect for our use. Two days of skiing at keystone made easier by having a bus take you to the Ski Resort. Bus stop right near condo. Skiing at Vail and Copper Mountain were short drives. Parking was excellent. Accommodations were perfect, and well stocked. Hot tub was nice but jets are in need of repair.

Month Long Stay

Spent the month here. We had the best time. We had everything we needed for cooking at home. We worked and schooled from here and everything was easy. Great WiFi and amazing location! Keystone gulch in the backyard and the snake river right across the road. We can’t wait to go back! Excellent hosts!

Great home and location!
We came with a group of 6 and spent 4 days at Keystone. The bus route/stop was right out the door so no need to take the car. Hot tub/sauna were very close and much needed after a hard day skiing(also a heated pool which was awesome!). Kitchen was a bit tight for cooking but it was the best stocked with condiments(both fridge and cupboards)than we have ever experienced.

Fantastic Condo!
We had an amazing time in Keystone and the condo was perfect! We were six (4 adult children) and had plenty of room. The location was excellent for quick access to Keystone Mountain House (2 stops away) and the bust stop was seconds from the condo. (Trip back to condo after a full day of skiing was a bit longer). The condo was extremely well-stocked with not only great cooking pans/dishes, but also ample condiments and spices to make cooking easier. The heated tile floors were great and the individual thermostats work great for families of different temperatures! And, the ample shampoos, conditioners, soaps and lotions were a great touch!!
We only have a few call outs for the owners:
- The bed frame in the second bedroom on the main floor requires tightening as any movement will cause a terrible squeaking noise. Our daughter ended up on the pullout sofa (although we couldn't find any extra sheets).
- Hot tub worked the first day but was broken/cold the subsequent times we tried to use it. Sauna was under repair during entire trip (per the notice on the door)
- We did find that the W/D was described as coin operated in the detailed listing but it's not described as such on the front page of the details so easy to miss.
- While the owners supplied 3 humidifiers, only one was working (even after attempting to clean the two broken ones). Owners did offer for us to purchase from Target but we didn't have a car.
Overall, we highly recommend the condo!

Awesome Christmas Visit
We had a great vacation in Keystone just after Christmas. The The condo is well equipped with kitchen supplies, soaps for kitchen and bath, towels, blankets and pillows. We LOVED the heated floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. The place is decorated very thoughtfully. All the furniture made each room the most functional that it could be. Great Rental!
