Situated in Frankfort, this attractive house for £146 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This tropical cottage is ready for summer friends! Come stay in Frankfort and discover Northern Michigan's beautiful coastline and all the activites it has to offer. Our cottage is perfect for two people looking for a getaway, whether it be a weekend trip or week-long stay, the Little Blue House will provide you with a comfortable visit. The house is equipped with Spectrum internet. There is no TV in the home. Located in the city of Frankfort, this remodeled 1 Bed/1 Bath home is ready to go. There is a queen size Casper mattress in the bedroom. The house can accommodate four people; there is a futon in the living room with a set of sheets available. However, please keep in mind we have a small cottage and you will be in close proximity. Each additional person after the first two is an added $15/day. We have a fully equipped kitchen with abundant counter space, a dining room table, and dishwasher. There is a laundry room with available washer and dryer for you to use. We do have an air conditioning unit in the bedroom that will quickly cool the whole house. There is a deck with outdoor seating off the back of the cottage, with a nice view of our large wooded lot. Provided is a gas grill and a plenty of parking space for your cars. Our cottage is in a quiet neighborhood in the city of Frankfort. We are conveinently located 5 blocks from the local supermarket, 6 blocks from the downtown Frankfort shops, and 8 blocks from the city beach. Frankfort is close to Crystal Mountain, Point Betsie, numerous hiking and biking trails, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Our stay at the little blue house was exactly what we were looking for. The house had everything we needed and such charm. Perfect location- a quick walk to downtown Frankfort. Comfortable bed, clean shower, and overall the perfect stay. Would definitely go back! Thank you, Lauren!

Very clean and comfortable cottage. Check-in was a breeze and communication with owner was excellent. Also, the cottage is walking distance to town which was really great. Lots of shops, pubs and nicer restaurants. I’m very happy that I close the Little Blue House 😁

The Little Blue House exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally clean and located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The house was decorated very tastefully and made us feel very welcomed. We would definitely stay there again.

House is super cute and clean! Many thoughtful little extras. Loved the patio deck with overhead lights and surrounded by beautiful daisies! We also enjoyed the recorded player and extensive albums! Great location, easy walk to downtown. Would definitely recommend!

The weather was great all weekend. I got to visit the Lighthouse and watch the sunset on Elberta beach. We walked a few trails in Arcadia. Then we would enjoy our evenings at the house; Only after getting food from all the delicious Restaurant choices just a mile away. It was very clean, and great atmosphere w/ houseplants and neat decor.

This cute little house is in a great location to explore Frankfort and the surrounding area, including Sleeping Bear Dunes. You can walk to Lake Michigan and Main Street of the town. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great communication from the owner too.

This was our third year of staying in the Little Blue House in late summer. The house is spotless! The kitchen is stocked with all the items needed to cook meals. The bed is so comfy... just like home. The deck is huge with a big grill for entertaining. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. It is a short walk down 9th Street to downtown. A new modern Mexican restaurant (food allergy aware) just opened this year with a rooftop dining area where we watched the sunset. And speaking of the sunset... walking to the lighthouse and beach at 7:30 PM is fun and offers great photo opportunities. We love the outdoors, so we did it all... hiking, cycling, kayaking, walking. Other small towns are not too far to drive, so we experienced Suttons Bay, Traverse City, Mission Peninsula, Empire and Glen Arbor. The hiking trails vary in degrees of challenge. The Old Indian Trail takes you to the beach of Lake Michigan and is beautiful - not challenging but a great 3 mile walk. The Dune hike makes me wonder why we keep doing it year after year. But it is always great to have it completed - very challenging 4 miles. Our kayaking trip started at Riverside Livery and down the Platt River. The Coho salmon were running and lots of fishermen were catching them as we paddled down the river. What a sight! The Heritage trail is a great paved bike trail, it does have some hills which offers a challenging bike ride. The Betsie trail is fun and takes you from Frankfort to Beulah. Some of that trail has crushed limestone (so beware). We always find so much to do and have a lot of fun. Our host is wonderful and always accessible. If you like the outdoors and active adventures, Frankfort is a great place to stay!

We even took in a drive-in movie at the Cherry Bowl in nearby Honor. We can’t thank Lauren and Josh enough for sharing their wonderful little blue home with us! We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties over the last several years and this was one of our favorites. It was the PERFECT weekend getaway and just what we needed!

Always a winner!
The Little Blue House is the perfect vacation spot for a couple who is active and loves the outdoors. Northern Michigan in the late summer is so beautiful and the weather is usually pretty nice, not too hot and not too cold. This is our second year in this house and we are planning on returning for a third year. The house is equipped for cooking and entertaining small groups. We stayed for a week and cooked dinner most nights. The bed is so comfy... just like home. The house is updated and very squeaky clean. It takes about 15 minutes to walk downtown Frankfort. Our host, Lauren was available if we needed her and super accommodating.
As far as activities... wow! We brought our own bikes, but you can also rent them in town. We rode the Bestie trail and had lunch in Beulah. It's a 20 mile round-trip. We rented a pontoon boat and had it delivered to Lake Leelenau for a day on the lake. We rented kayaks at Riverside Canoe Trips and paddled down the Platte River while the Coho salmon swam upstream... that was amazing! We drove about 45 minutes into Traverse City and visited wineries on Mission Peninsula and shopped. Every day was an adventure. What a wonderful vacation.

The little blue house is great!
We really enjoyed our time at the Little Blue House in Frankfort. It is perfect for a couple or small family; I stayed there with my girlfriend and we found it clean, well appointed, and thoughtfully decorated. The washer and dryer, dishwasher, and grill are all very useful, and the backyard area (especially the deck) provides a great space to relax, ear, etc. Although our ideal house would also have WiFi and a TV, we did nonetheless enjoy the vinyl collection and record player.

Cute and clean home in a fantastic location!
The “Little Blue House” was perfect! It is a short walk to the store, downtown shopping or the beach. We enjoyed walking, relaxing on the lovely patio and listening to the assortment of vinyl albums that are in the home. We stayed here for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend this cute and very clean home.

Can’t rave enough about little blue. It was extremely clean, serene, filled with natural light, and had everything we needed and more. The back deck is the cutest - we spent most of our time there and the hammock. Bed was super comfortable. Great location by the beach, 15 min from Arcadia, 45 to sleeping bear dunes. Cannot wait to come back again!!

We absolutely fell in love with this little place. After travelling north it was like arriving into alternate reality when we saw the welcome sign❤️ The attention to every small detail was so obvious. Those who borrow this space will be delighted with how wonderful it really is. For example, the back porch with the lovely garden and the hammock for two, perfectly placed for the warm autumn sun. Let me tell you, I have been in places that obviously are money makers with no care given to create the comfortable experience we had.

Perfect For Two!
If you enjoy cycling, hiking, kayaking... plus a cute little town that you can walk to, this location has it all! A short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage Trail (22 miles), challenging enough, extremely scenic and fun. Then there is the Betsie Valley Trail, just took off from the house. Many hiking trails, but the most challenging was the Dune Hike. Oh my! Then there is the Little Blue House (we already booked again for next year). Our host, Lauren, did an amazing job filling this house with warmth and coziness. There are succulents and house plants everywhere! They are all healthy as if someone lived there full-time. The bed (wow) is a Casper foam mattress and lovely to sleep on. The kitchen is equipped with everything to cook daily. The house is pristine/COVID-19 ready and everything works! I loved the Brita water pitcher with a filter that was not expired. This was a vacation of a life-time. The town was super cute and the people of Frankfort super nice. We ate at the Hotel Frankfort a couple times because of Jennifer (what a sweetie). Bella Coffee Shop was fun too. They make a killer mocha. So much fun. The sign of a great vacation is trying to NOT go home. But, we're home and looking forward to the next time we stay in the Little Blue House.

This is the perfect haven on the west coast of MI. Lauren is so sweet and the Little Blue House is much prettier than the pictures. The vintage Crosley record player is so cool and the deck is gorgeous. What a peaceful place! Romance, peace, and beauty...All of my favorite things on vacations. 😊�

Quaint Getaway
Another great stay at the Little Blue House! Love the location - close to downtown and beach but on a quite street, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The house is always very clean and well equipped for our stay. My kids loved the hammock addition and my husband and I loved the beautiful back deck. Felt like we were in the tropics!

Great Getaway
We love the Little Blue House! This was our 3rd stay and we booked again in September. It's peaceful, quiet, very clean, and we have everything we need in a quaint little house. We love grilling and cooking dinner items we got from the local Farmer's Market after a day on the beach. And, listening to old records on a cool record player with no internet is heavenly! Thank you to the home owner for the extra treats too! We can't wait to be back!

Love Little Blue House
We stayed at the Little Blue House two years ago and loved it so much that we stayed here again this year. The house is cozy, cheerful, and oh so peaceful. With COVID-19 being so prevalent this year we fully utilized the kitchen and prepared all of our meals in the well-stocked/supplied kitchen rather than eating out. We truly enjoyed our stay and WILL be back!!!
