Nestled in Saint George Island, this charming house for £243 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. 840 W. Pine Ave., St. George Island, FL NEW 10' wide county-owned beach path DIRECTLY due south from Sandtrap to the beach, located in between homes! This is an additional quicker beach access option. There is also the beach accesses at the end of the streets where the boardwalks are. Welcome to "Sandtrap", a newly renovated, large & comfortable beach house only a short walk to both the beach boardwalk and the county owned bay front park, (Regatta Park). Sandtrap offers privacy and seclusion on a quiet street only 150 yards to the beach! A spacious 2nd floor air conditioned sun room along with a sundeck provide added enjoyment to your island experience. The sun room offers sleeping arrangements for one person with a day bed. The first floor has a covered porch which is perfect for grilling and enjoying meals! (There is a right side screen porch for your enjoyment too! Sandtrap offers two upstairs living rooms on each side of the home. The living rooms connect and they both have exterior entrances. This large home and layout is perfect for multiple couples, a ladies gathering, or a large and extended family! Our new and fully stocked kitchen offers all the amenities of home that would delight a gourmet cook. All new appliances and a basic supply of spices and condiments are provided. The table in the kitchen seats 4 and is perfect for a snack or breakfast. The large sun room located off the kitchen seats 10 for dining. You have four bedrooms, (all king beds), and 2 baths downstairs that sleep 9, along with a full bath in each living room upstairs where the 2 kitchens and main living areas are located. The split bedroom plan offers both privacy and is quiet. Enjoy the extra large private hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, and a new fish cleaning sink & table located downstairs. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer located upstairs too! Plenty of parking for your boat and cars. Two powerful a/c units! NEW AMENITY: Brand new SIX-person Club Car gas-powered GOLF CART is available for 7 night stays, (or longer), at an additional charge of $500.00 for 7 nights. In your VRBO inquiry or VRBO communication, please let us know if you'd like to reserve the golf cart. We will then add the fee and send you a separate $500.00 payment request. At least a 7 day advance notice for reserving the golf cart is required. COUNTY GOLF CART REGS: Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license in order to drive a golf cart. No driving on Gulf Beach Drive and Franklin Boulevard, (although you can cross them), and no driving on the paved bike path that is parallel to Gulf Beach Drive. Owners David & Barbara Ashmore would be honored to have you as guests at Sandtrap! Please email through VRBO/HomeAway and the Ashmore's assistant, Glenn Smith, will be happy to answer your questions along with arranging your wonderful vacation on our island paradise! Sorry no group gatherings allowed, even for day use, beyond the maximum occupancy of 9 people. NOTE: 5 night minimum stay requirement except during the peak Summer High season which has a Saturday to Saturday 7 night minimum stay requirement. 50% initial deposit due with reservation confirmation w/ the final 50% by 30 days prior to arrival. *We cater to family groups and cannot accept reservations for vacationing students or house parties. We do not rent to students or to groups under 25, even if one or more parents or legally responsible adults accompany them. If you need to cancel, we will provide a full refund 60 days or more prior to arrival. No refund within 60 days. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended because you never know what unexpected life event could occur. $200.00 cleaning/linens/bath towels fee Up to a $300 damage option will be automatically charged to your credit card within 14 days of check out if any damage occurs, including damage to the golf cart if you rent it.

We had a wonderful time at the Sand Trap! The house was extremely clean and Glenn, was wonderful to work with. He was quick to answer any questions we may have had. Having the golf cart was an extra bonus to our trip and we enjoyed it so much!

The property was very clean and there is plenty of room! We couldn’t believe how much stuff they had in the kitchen for meal preparation and for fun at the beach. The property is close to the ocean and the golf cart is so much fun and allows for exploration of the island!

It was a short commute to the beach and plenty of space! We loved ( with little ones) having access to washers and dryers. We loved the outdoor space! Great place to stay.

We were very happy with the house. It was nice having the two kitchens. We were impressed that there was a high chair available for our grandson. The beds were super comfortable--all of us had very good night sleeps.

Rent this house and you will be hooked. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house is for a family vacation. The house has an amazing amount of room. Plenty of amenities, the kitchens are stocked with everything you would need, a grill for cooking outside, two different porch settings for eating together, one a room and the other a screened in with tables. There is plenty of room to get together to eat. A wonderful outside area with chairs and a hammock. I would give this 100 stars if I could. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!!

The perfect paradise, can't wait to return!
The Sand Trap was such an incredible place to stay. Everything was spotless and the home was set up so well. It had everything we needed for our week long trip. It was only my husband and I, on our honeymoon, but the house is large enough to fit an entire family, maybe even two families, in it! We are already planning to bring our families back to this home for our next vacation. I cannot say enough great things about this home and the owners. Communication was great, responses were very quick and instructions were clear. I highly suggest paying to use the golf cart, it was so worth it to be able to ride around the island. The house is a very short walk to the beach and has a great outdoor set up. I 100% suggest booking your vacation here, we will certainly be back!

Great place for larger family gathering
Property is well setup for a larger family gathering, we had three families in it, my wife and me, and my two stepsons families. Having two kitchens was handy, location was very good also.

Lots of space. Very clean. Short, easy walk to the beach. I loved having two kitchens. I made dinners in one and the teens made their meals and snacks in the other.

Stairs…stairs & more stairs…
Great location…not too far from island center but far enough. Clean upon entry. Allowed us to arrive earlier than 4 (thank you!)
This house is definitely not for stair challenged people. I’m sure the stair description was included in the property description and I just didn’t fully understand the layout.
All bedrooms & 2 full baths are downstairs = great for sleeping! 2 separate living rooms & 2 fully stocked kitchens & additional 2 full baths are upstairs. So lots of stair climbing if you leave something in your bedroom or want a midnight snack. Loved the Ninja speciality coffee maker so much I’ve ordered one for my home.
Nice under house patio with grill & pergola. Missed a fire pit but we made s’mores over the built in grill.
**Do be aware of a new construction house being built directly in front of ocean side view. Builders arrived, started hammering & yelling like sailors before 7:30am during the weekdays but most of my crew are early risers and were up by 8am. That house should be built & construction stopped in a few months so this is only a temporary inconvenience & not a reflection of Sandtrap owners. We can’t help who are neighbors are!
Overall another great family trip to SGI. House fit our needs during our stay and my calves got an additional workout.

We appreciated the Kurig coffee pods which made it easy for each of us to have coffee at any time.
Seriously there were no complaints at all, we loved having control over the two thermostats when we were home, making it very comfortable. We were mostly gone during the day kayaking or biking, but it was great to come back and use the hose to wash off the boats and paddles etc. we locked up our bikes on the side porch , and just could not have been more comfortable.
Some of our friends staying elsewhere had various complaints about their lodging, and were jealous of our beautiful place at the Sandtrap.

Perfect Island and Amazing House!
Just a bunch of moms away for 5 days. We loved the amount of space in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with every gadget we could need. We used the second living room as a yoga rooms and the outside shower was the best! Communication with the representatives and owners was great! So many towels and blankets and just the perfect rental. We will be back!!
