Nestled in Dollar Point, this attractive house for £299 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. "A Lake View at St Francis" is a two story reverse floor plan townhome featuring beautiful Lake Tahoe views and is just steps to a sandy beach and boat dock. Public boat launch, park and playground a short walk. Several major ski resorts just minutes away. This home is equipped with two outdoor decks with BBQ, dining table and outdoor couch to enjoy in the summer months, open living/dining combo has cathedral ceilings, large bright windows and sliding glass doors to let in the natural light, and a rare round dining table for 8. This open living area features brand new large comfy furniture all set up to view the glorious lake views as well as the wood burning fireplace, and the large flat screen entertainment unit without having to move a muscle. There are also two large built-in buffet cabinets in the dining room to make dinner service a breeze. The large kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might want or need to prepare any gourmet meal. Downstairs you'll find the king master suite featuring a newly remodeled bath with a large walk-in tiled shower and a granite vanity. Two large additional queen bedrooms share the nicely updated downstairs hall bath with a shower/tub combo, and you will find the 3rd full bathroom upstairs off of the living area. This lovely lakeside town-home is the perfect spot to begin your magical Lake Tahoe vacation! Parking for 2 cars only directly in front in spaces marked #26. The Hot tub is closed after Labor Day. Indoor Spa is closed starting mid-March until Christmas. Outdoor Spa and Pool is open before Memorial Day until Labor Day. PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in. Wells and Bennett will be charging separately a $500 down payment at time of booking to hold your reservation that will go towards your final balance. Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied. If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property. If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out. Holiday Booking Policy CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. This condo is a short bike ride from downtown Tahoe City. The upstairs is great and has two wonderful decks, amazing places to spend a sunny afternoon. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. It's a short walk to the shores of Tahoe. The carpet is a bit old, and downstairs smells a bit musty, but otherwise a good expereince.

Do not be fooled by the pictures online! My family and I have been vacationing in October in Lake Tahoe for 15 years and have never experienced anything like this rental. The beds were literally, no exaggeration, lumpy. You could feel the springs through the matresses. Just absolutely unbelievable. No one was able to get a good night sleep. One of the rooms had an electrical outlet coming out of the wall with exposed wiring and there was a light fixture plugged into it. There were cobwebs in the doorways, the kitchen floor had some sort of sticky substance on it that was never mopped up before our stay. The toaster oven was filthy, it was so bad it turned us off from even using the kitchen. I would never have imagined that there could even be such a place as this offered as a vacation rental. Save your money for a property where the owners actually care about upkeep and the comfort of their guests. We are not the type to complain but I don’t want another family to have to suffer such a huge as disappointment on their vacation stay. We did communicate these issues to the property management and they were referred to as “minor inconveniences” I wouldn’t call having the matress springs poking into your back as a minor inconvenience, as I stated above just unbelievably disappointing.

The unit was not cleaned well. The kitchen floor was filthy. Certainly not up to COVID standards.
The upstairs living area was nice but the TV was impossible to figure out. We tried and tried. Very limited choice for some reason. Kitchen was set up well and had decent pots and pans etc.
The downstairs is where the bedrooms were. Very unpleasant. Bed was hard and felt old . Not comfortable. Also in main bedroom closet no room whatsoever for clothes to be put away. Used the guest rooms which did have clear closets.

Great Condo and Complex - So Close to Lake!
We stayed at this property for a family vacation in mid August. The pictures online do not do the view and proximity to the lake justice!! The unit is only a few parking spaces away from the water's edge and the lake can easily be viewed from the living room and dining room through several large glass sliding doors, in addition to both balconies. The lake was very full this summer leaving a smaller beach area, but it was not a problem because there was rarely anyone else on the beach or on the neighborhood pier. This made for a very peaceful vacation with stunning views! We also enjoyed the tennis courts and pool. The townhouse was very spacious and fully stocked with any kitchen item, cleaning supply and beach/sporting equipment you could think of. The neighborhood is very convenient to many Tahoe City restaurants and traveling around the lake. Overall, we loved this property and will definitely stay here again!
Opportunities for Improvement: The house was pretty clean but the cleaning crew missed some cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling (with spider included - eek!) and didn't seem to clean the balconies as there was bird poop, cobwebs and dirt on the furniture and railings. Also, the master bedroom bed was very squeaky. Minor items that did not distract us from having a great stay!

Disappointing
The location is great and the bathrooms have been updated in the last 10 years. However, the beds are disgusting and so is the carpet. The mattress in the master is so old and feels like springs are coming out. The pillows are gross and linens ripped. There wasn’t one wash cloth in the unit. We actually bought some in town and left them for future guests. The place needs new carpet and furnishings. The upstairs is bright and sunny, but get rid of the disgusting futon. The downstairs was like a cave. A little work on the place would make a huge difference. We have stayed in many places in Tahoe and this was our least favorite. We will not return. It’s too bad because the location is amazing.

Ideal lakefront property
Our family really enjoyed this comfortable, nicely updated property. Located right above a green belt with Sand volleyball and bbq space with the lake just yards away, it suited our every need. The large dining room, great kitchen but most of all the large decks overlooking the lake was key to making us feel truly on the lake and all we needed to make us feel relaxed and enjoy water activities with our kids. Helena was so great to work with. Thank you we will return!

Family fun right by the lake
My family stayed here (4 adults and 2 kids) and had a terrific time. The condo is just a few units down from the lake so great access to the water. In addition to water activities the condo has a shared pool, tennis court and volleyball net. I recommend bringing rackets/balls/rafts to take full advantage of all that’s available. As far as the unit it goes, it was perfect for our family with great porch areas, kitchen, and shared living spaces. I would definitely come and stay again - it was a great experience!

Amazing setting and location
We loved being so close to the lake, having views out both sides of the condo. It was enjoyable to cook a nice family dinner and eat out on the deck, looking at and listening to the water. The condo complex was quiet, safe and peaceful. A bonus was the nest of baby swallows and the sounds they made when the parents came to feed them.
The condo was very spacious with newly remodeled bathrooms and plenty of parking right in front of the unit. The pool and hot tub area were very nice but we did not have time to use them. We ate at Rosie's Cafe one and a half miles away and it was amazing, reasonably priced, excellent service and fast.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location close to the lake. While it was a very busy summer weekend, the condo was quiet and peaceful. We found the accommodations comfortable and fully stocked. We had a wonderful weekend.

power outage during stay and no access to advertised spa - owners difficult
we arrived Monday, Christmas day around 6 pm. Looking forward to enjoying the spa that was advertised, found that there was no access key where it was supposed to be. We called owner the following morning, so as not to bother her on Christmas evening. She asked us to look around the house for it, which we did for quite some time, but could not locate it. She indicated that Chad (prop mgr) would provide a replacement. Chad did not bring a key until Wednesday at 5 pm. Thursday early afternoon we went down to the spa and found Chad there who said the power was out and that we could not use the spa, and that the problem would not be fixed until the following day. The next morning, Friday morning, Chad came to our door and informed of us that the repair was significant, and he had no idea how long it would take, but that the previous time it happened it took a 'significant amount of time' to repair. After learning this, we decided to inform owner we did not wish to stay in a unit with no power, she said she would provide refund for Fri night, so we packed up and were ready to go by 11, since we anticipated the power being out perhaps all day. we left right around 11, and there was still heavy equipment right outside the front door with the crew working away , and the power was off - it certainly did not appear in any way that the repair was soon to be completed, and Chad gave us no indication that this was the case - he was there as we were departing.
we enjoyed our stay, but we never could use the spa, as owner knows we did not receive the key from Chad until 5 pm on Wednesday, and by Thur early afternoon the power was out and Chad said we could not use the spa. We would like a small daily refund since this amenity was an important one for us, and which we did not have access to - we fell that a per day credit for no spa (for the 4 nights and 4.5 days we were there)- and the 1 night refund fee + tax)
I informed owner cleaning crew is not doing a good job at all. If I was the owner, I would want to know this since owner may not be inspecting the work since she's not in Tahoe. I had to remove all sheets and wash and remake all 3 beds since it appears the sheets had not been washed - the sheet was all crinkled up on all beds, as if someone had slept in them, the corners of the sheets were not tucked in, etc. Also, there was dust and cobwebs, even a dead spider in the master bath hang from the ceiling. Owner has refused to provide promised refund

Perfect for our family!!
The owner was a pleasure to work with - responsive to emails and very pleasant. The listing was accurate - this place truly has amazing lake views. Absolutely stunning right from the living room couch and kitchen table. Our party had children ages 6, 6 and 3... the house was a great fit for them - they could play freely inside and outside. Great place. Will plan to rent again next time we head to tahoe.

The condo is in a great location and a very functional set up. Comfortable beds and good pillows. We were there with 2 adult children and their partners. My only complaint was that the microwave doesn't really work. It took about 10 minutes to warm up a plate of food.

We stayed here with our three young kids and a couple of other families over Christmas. The house is just gorgeous! We loved the luxury cabin feel, with the high, beamed ceilings, beautiful walls and plush carpeting. I'd say it is lovelier than the photos show (although the pics are very nice!) We ended up hanging out in the house more than we had intended because it was hard to leave such a cozy, comfy space, especially the spacious living area. The entire house, especially the kitchen, was well-stocked.
The location couldn't be any better. There are lake views from the living area windows, and it was especially lovely waking up to the beautifully lit sky and lake in the morning and have the sunlight flood in the numerous windows. The shore/beach is a few steps from the front door. While the property complex is secluded, it is a few minutes from town, grocery and restaurants. Also about a 10-15 minute drive to Squaw Valley resort, so very convenient.
The owner was prompt to respond each time we had a question and very accommodating. We'd definitely recommend this property and hope we can stay again during summer this coming year.

This home is lovely, clean, and quiet. The Master bedroom is large which was great for a pack n play to fit in the corner. In fact I felt like we needed several more people to stay with us to use all the space. But the best part has to be the view of Lake Tahoe and having sandy beach access just steps from your door. We also got to enjoy the walking trail along the lake in Tahoe City which has a beautiful park for the kids and it was fun to look at the pictures at the dam.The only problem was not wanting to leave!! Hope we get to stay here during ski season!!!

The house is really great, just by the lake, an awesome view, for any season. Every room is very spacious and easily accomodates 9 as it says.It is a very cozy place, nice fireplace and the hot tub is pretty close to the house if you want to try it after a ski day. The owners are very nice and responsive people. Location wise, is also perfect: about 10 to 15 minutes to Squaw and not too far from other North Resorts. Plenty of restaurants, bars and groceries nearby,in sum you will definitely have a great time there.

We spent a few days here with the extended family -- 6 adults and 3 little kids -- to celebrate my parents' 45th anniversary. It was a great time. The condo was great for us! There was plenty of room, with comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a big living area and dining table. It is steps from the lake -- like having a private beach. We loved the patios, and spent lots of time just relaxing and soaking in the sun. The pool is nice, and you are a nice walking distance to town on a great little bike path. The condo was clean and everything was in great working order, and the owner was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We just came back from a wonderful ski weekend and could not have been more pleased with this condo. The condo was perfect for our two families with children ages 8 and under. The property has beautiful views of the lake and is located close to downtown and about 15 minutes to Squaw and Alpine. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, family room & kitchen open and relaxing. All in all the place was clean, well maintained and very cozy. The owner was helpful and a pleasure to work with. We are planning on coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake, beach, pool, volleyball and patios! I would recommend it!
