About this house rental
The open layout in the front family room provides a cozy living space with comfortable seating where you can all gather around the gas fire. A large flat-screen TV with cable is available during your stay to provide additional entertainment. The spacious kitchen comes fully equipped with all of your basic needs for the chef to cook up a delicious meal. The large farm table is the quintessential spot to dine or gather around and play a game of cards. Sliding glass doors off of the dining and living room lead to a private deck where you can light up the grill and enjoy a BBQ! Fenced backyard!! Down a long knotty pine hallway, you will find 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 full baths. At the end of the hallway is the “kids’ area” a 2nd family room with a fireplace and TV attached to the “bunk room”. The bunk room consists of 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4) with barn doors to separate from the 2nd family room. Perhaps the best part of this home is the location and the amenities you will have access to during your stay! Within a 5-minute walk, you will find delicious options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Jakes by the Lake, Fat Cats, Rosie’s Café, Moe’s BBQ and much more. Safeway, CVS, Coffee Shop and the Post office are just 2 blocks away. Not to mention the beautiful Lake Tahoe itself. Don’t miss Commons Beach and playground. If you’re in the mood for the outdoors, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are a quick 15-minute drive. Large garage is available for parking your car indoors during those big snowstorms.

We were a family with all adults and dogs.
We had a fabulous time! House has everything for you! The fenced yard makes it safe for pets and or kids if you have young ones. Perfectly located to Tahoe city shops and restaurants.
We had to go to urgent care( sadly) but it was only 1 minute away thankfully!
The walls are a bit thin, but other than that it’s awesome!
We will be back for sure. Checkin and checkout were super easy.

We had a nice Christmas vacation here and loved the location. House was perfect for us, it has two family rooms with a big dining room to fit us all. We would certainly come back to this cozy place in the mountains. Host very easy to work with, communication was great, house was well stocked and good working order!

The extra living room and bunk room was awesome for the teens in our family! Easy access to all the stores, restaurants, and lake path in Tahoe City. The home had everything you could think of needing and nicely appointed overall. 5-star!

We were in Lake Tahoe for our sons wedding, so it was very important to make sure everything went smoothly since we were already stressed! The hosts were amazing, very accomodating to our requests and quick to reply. The house was very well stocked with everything needed and more for an away at home stay. The location was ideal - walkable to the lake and groceries and restaurants. Our family and dogs had a great trip!

Great place, walkable to Tahoe city. The house was supplied very well. Did not have to find a store for basic items. Clean with comfortable beds. Be aware that there are stairs in the entry way if that is a problem for you. Would stay here again for sure!

Great stay with minor exceptions.
1. Unpleasant musty/mildewy odor at rear bedrooms & living room.
2. Garbage instructions didnt mention that garbage truck comes early. We had to run to catch them. Also no blue bag for recycling.
3. Bedrooms and hallway stairs could use night lights.

We loved our time at the adorable bear themed cabin. The location was great and just what we wanted, walking distance to the charming village, activities and supermarket. Having the 2 entertainment centers added so much to our family's enjoyment. The weather was perfect which contributed to the pleasure of our family vacation.

Stayed with several family members for a wedding in Tahoma. Rental was spacious and beds comfortable. Location was walking distance to Tahoe City lake front, park lakefront path, restaurants and groceries. Easy ride to Truckee, Emerald Bay and Olympic Village.
Only minor recommendation would be to provide renters with type of coffee maker or one mornings package of coffee and dish sponge. Would also have a print out of any house rules and check out procedures.
Would definitely rent again.
P.S. Had difficulty with VRBO messaging feature a couple of times. This is not a reflection on owner. But VRBO should address. It could be a major issue if there was any type of emergency and the renter was unable to contact the owner.

This house was great for our party of 8. Plenty of room with 2 living spaces. The location is terrific right in the center of everything in Tahoe City but on a quiet street. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for our family trip! The layout was great for our families, we had lots of space. The fireplaces were nice and cozy. The owners responded right away to our questions. We would come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The furnishings and decor are warm and inviting. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked with linens and toiletries. The kitchen has everything you need. The washer and dryer are modern and clean. We chose the perfect house for our family and friends to stop by during our daughter’s wedding weekend.

This is a perfect place for a family. Aside from an ideal location (close to beach, shops, and restaurants), the house had so much room. There were ample beds and space for everyone. The house was very clean and had everything you need to cook meals, dine, and have family time. I definitely would stay here again and recommend this property for families!

The house itself has a lovely living area to hang out in, along with a large, fully stocked kitchen to cook in. The dining area was also a great area to enjoy our dinners. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. I cannot wait to stay again!

We stayed at Michael’s property for a week during the recent winter break. The property was well appointed, clean, and convenient to downtown and to Alpine/Olympic Village. The layout worked great for us with 2 families with tween/teens. Thanks for a great experience.

Wonderful place for family trip
We have stayed in a lot of rental homes around Lake Tahoe and this was one of our favorites. The location was perfect, quiet street but a short easy walk to Safeway, marina, restaurants and beach. The house was perfect for traveling with kids, all the bedrooms are on one floor and there is a second family room with tons of games at the back of the house, that leads to a sizable fenced backyard. The home also had every kitchen appliance and cookware item you could ever need. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Hope to be back!

This is a great place to stay! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a great week in Tahoe. Great location
We were two families staying at the house and it was very clean and a perfect location to walk to Tahoe City/beach/rafting. The kids enjoyed the back living room while the adults enjoyed the main living room in the front. Nice Tahoe cabin feel! The owners were super easy to connect with and overall we had a great time! Would definitely stay there again!
