About this cabin rental
Nestled in Stecoah, this charming cabin for £115 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The secluded location of this cabin is definitely the appeal, but there are so many creature comforts at the property that you may not ever want to leave. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliance is much more than you find at most rental cabins, so bring your food, grill on the Weber (spare tank included), and settle in with a bottle of wine in front of the gas log fireplace. There's fast, free WIFI, and even a stereo with Bose speakers for your enjoyment, but there's plenty of appeal outside, too. The custom stone fire pit (kindling and fire wood is provided) and relaxing Adirondack chairs will keep you occupied roasting marshmallows for S'mores or telling stories of the day's activities. Adjacent is the bubbling hot tub, toasty warm year round for a relaxing soak while counting the stars. Back inside, in the upstairs open loft you’ll enjoy the 8-foot slate pool table or the dart board as you like (or full size Murphy bed for extra sleeping), but you will absolutely notice the pillow-top king mattress when you finally retire to the downstairs master bedroom. Nothing short of spectacular. Location was great given we had scheduled zip lining at the near by Nantahala Outdoor Center. Quiet property. Firewood provided but not used. Lights on at arrival to make entering easy. Would definitely stay again!

My partner and I had amazing weekend in the cabin. We couldn’t ask for a better cabin view. When we was looking for cabin we wanted a cabin out in the wood without phone service so we could spend time without distractions from our phones! We had amazing time playing pool upstairs in the loft and soaking in the hot tub ! The only thing we regret is not booking the cabin for a whole week!

Paid in full but Never checked in. NOT MOTORCYCLE OR TRAILER ACCESSIBLE..but this was never listed this way. The management company was a joke when trying to get help or at least some of our money back. Even before checking in it had hot tub problems and the wifi was going to be out all week. Property ,host , and watershed management were a complete scam. We were blessed to find a local place that could take us for the week and our vacation was saved. Lesson learned.

We got there 10 minutes early & had to wait til the exact time to unlock the door. Upon entering, there were dead bugs everywhere, on the countertops & floors in every room so I had to clean first thing. I rented the place based on the pool table & hot tub but the room was to small to play pool which was very frustrating. The hot tub only had 1 working jet. The freezer was dirty & if you slept in the Murphy bed, you were in a closet. There was no way to play darts because the pool table was in the way. I feel like the shouldn't draw you in to features that you really can't use, false advertisement. I was told that the bugs are invasive which was a ridiculous excuse because I live in the country with "invasive bugs" too but they are not dead all over my house. No one had been there to clean before we arrived and I'm not sure the last time someone cleaned the ceiling fans. There were rules posted on everything which after signing an agreement that took 45 minutes to read, I expected better & I would not stay here again.

Firewood was too wet to burn for campfire from a rain 2 days before arrival. There's not enough room to actually use the pool table properly. There was 1 dart for the dartboard. Blower for the gas fireplace didn't work. Ceiling fan in main room squeaked too loudly to use. There's no toaster. Microwave is very weak. Front desk was responsive. Good location. Very clean

The cabin was a great get-away. The fire pit, hot tub, and porch were nice to enjoy the outdoors. We loved the pool table and dart board. It was great for a rainy evening. Overall, the cabin was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay there again.

This was the perfect little cabin for our family. It’s distance from other cabins was great. The hot tub and pool table was perfect combination of activities to enjoy. It is a steep climb to get to the cabin so keep that in mind with what vehicle you will be driving. Great Thanksgiving spent in this cabin.Thank youLaurie

we enjoyed the nice clean bed, bathrooms, and hot tube but there was a great deal of pet hair on the carpet, cob webs and spiders in places, the kitchen utilizes need an update, cicada all over the cabin at night to the point of not being able to go out. There is a barrier spray that can be purchased online that could be sprayed around the house. We loved the decor and amenities but it is run down some and if you have a car getting up the driveway could be extremely difficult due to the hill.

A great cabin experience
This is a beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains. Close to tons of hiking trails and Fontana Lake.
We were notified while in route to the cabin that during a storm the night before, a lightning strike damaged the well pump. Tim (the property manager) was great! He went out of his way to take care of the issue and made sure that everything was taken care of.
We had so much fun, we ended up extending our stay another day.
Thanks Tim for going the extra mile to make our vacation so memorable!
