Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality. This gorgeous condo has two king-size beds with a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. There are granite countertops in the kitchen, one housing the stainless steel sink and the other on an island with seating for four. There are a cooktop, convection microwave oven, and a smaller sized refrigerator. Cable television is in the living room and bedroom. The queen-sized sleeper sofa is in the living room along with a separate chair. Off the living room is the walk-out open patio with seating for two. Pointes North Inn has high-speed wifi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May. All this, just a stone's throw from Charlevoix the Beautiful's downtown.

The place is clean but a bit outdated. The location is very close to everything, so that was great! The price was kind of high for the small amount of space, but it seems that everything in Charlevoix is a bit over priced. Beds were too firm for our liking. I also wasn’t thrilled at the process for getting into the room. Picking up your door code in an a box of envelopes with everyone else’s door codes doesn’t seem safe enough.

Lets be honest, the only thing that keeps this place afloat is its location. this particular rental hasn't been updated in decades. It smelled moldy, the carpet was nasty, the patio furniture was inhabitable.. I can go on.. The only saving grace was that the Ice machine in the stairwell actually worked this year!! but the new pool closes at 5pm?? so no swim for you after a rough day walking through town or golfing.. I sneek peaked a few other rooms that looked gorgeous, they must obviously been private owners cuz they actually remodeled what used to be a dump..

It was a below average stay experience. The entire building is in need of an upgrade - it feels very run down. The balcony of our unit was filthy - the table, cobwebs everywhere. The pool closed at 5pm.

Cozy spot comfortably fitting extended family in town for the marathon. The start/finish line is outside the balcony. Convenient to all areas water wise and in town.

We were excited to stay and the photos looked great online. For the price it did not meet our expectations and we were disappointed. The room was outdated, the jacuzzi drain did not work causing the water to drain faster than it filled and the shower head upstairs shot out when we turned on the faucet making it unusable. The beds and pillows were ancient, flat and have seen better days. We also encountered the cleaning staff cleaning rooms without the proper PPE. Once again the price we paid for one night was not worth the stay.

The place was fine

We had booked this property with friends for three nights and left after one night. The facility itself was okay but the furniture in this particular unit was in need of replacement - saggy sofa, dirty looking chair, balcony furniture that included a high top table with only two low chairs and a bench stuck in a corner - not inviting at all. We enjoy being out on a balcony for drinks, etc. but these units overlook the busiest road in Charlevoix and it was extremely noisy. There was no view of the lake - at least not in August. Fortunately the management accommodated our request to check out early which we appreciated.
