MASTER BEDROOM UPSTAIRS with king and private bath. Outside master on the second level is small open loft off stairway landing with twin bed and chest of drawers. Even though the area is open this area is considered a small bedroom. House also has a twin roll-a-way. Living area, queen room ad master bedroom have flat screen TV's Downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The master bath upstairs is very roomy and has a shower. Washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first floor. The home is decorated with a personal touch with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The dining room seating 6 and 4 bar stools provide comfortable seating to enjoy the finest fresh gulf seafood available daily or dine outside on the deck while listening to the waves and gulf breeze. A great place for friends and family to gather. Outside downstairs around the garage is ample covered parking for three. Concreted, it is large enough for outdoor fun with outdoor shower and grill for your enjoyment just steps away from the beach and the waves. Take It Easy is a non-smoking home with no pets allowed. Grilling is only allowed on the ground level in keeping with GALVESTON CITY ORDINANCE PROHIBITS GRILLING ON DECKS. Our property manager Marsha is close by and is willing to help should any issues arise or to answer any questions or concerns you may have. You can reach Marsha at 832-277-5691. Lock box with Take It Easy key is located on the ground level on the right side of the stairs leading to the front door. 5 TO 7 days before your arrival you will receive an email which will give you the lock box code and information to help you best enjoy your stay with check in/ house guidelines /checkout rules and garbage pickup schedule. We liked the house and certainly the location--both distance from beach and from Galveston. Actually, it was not optimal for 9 adults, but we new this in advance the bunk bed arrangement was not great for the 4 adult children and the 4th "bedroom"/nook was a bit of a surprise. The kitchen appliances were modern and good. However to our surprise--and probably the owner's, there was not a functional can opener. The key box was difficult to open as was the door knob lock. Marsha was very helpful.

Property is amazing. The most significant thing we noticed was the lack of mosquitos. We were prepared for them, but we honestly had zero issues! Huge surprise for Galveston in May. The porch has the perfect afternoon and evening breeze. It was such a relaxing, comfortable spot. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone. The master is upstairs with its own porch. We comfortably slept four kids and five adults. We will be back.

We enjoy our stay. The house is as described and in a great location. We had views of the beach from every room. The size and layout of the house was perfect for us (family of 7). Plenty of room for the kiddos and adults though we spent most of the time at the beach. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We came at Christmas 2022 during a record cold winter storm. The property manager let us know the power was out the first night so we could make other arrangements and refunded our money for that night. The rest of our stay was wonderful great house with great views. We will be back!

Stayed here for thanksgiving with my family! It was perfect for us. Lots of space for eating, drinking and being merry! Patti was very accommodating and easy to contact. Will stay here again if coming back with a big group. The large windows were perfect for beach viewing because of rain during the week. Much needed getaway.

The property was awesome! Ample space and sleeping for 5 grown men and 1 teenage boy. Location and description of the property was accurate from the listing. We could not have asked for a closer walk to the beach. It was great.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this classic Pirate’s Beach house. The views are spectacular, and the house itself was comfortable. Decks all around every floor added to our most enjoyable experience. A special shout-out to Marsha, the property manager, who was responsive and very helpful!

The view, the view, the view!!! Wow, and right on the beach! So fun for all ages. Loved having a morning deck and afternoon deck so there was always an option if you wanted sun or not. Not all the beds had their sheets on them, so we had to put on the rest and the 5 tv remotes were difficult to figure out. Other than those two things the house was perfect.

Everything we wanted and needed...perfect relaxing stay ON the beach! Breathtaking views...could not have been more perfect. Our original plans included kids and grandkids and we wanted space to gather and this house seemed perfect. Ended up being just me and my husband and it was perfect for that too. Enjoyed the views from every deck, the perfect distance from the bustle of town, all the books... the list goes on. Originally thought we didn't need that much space for just the two of us but we are already planning to return next year even if just us. Once you've had the best, nothing else will do!

House was just as described. It was literally steps to the beach. With small children and daily set up, it was an easy transition from house to beach. The decks were great with one for morning and another for evening, both with beach and gulf views. Inside was comfortable, with nice layout of rooms. Trips to town were only 10 minutes away. Looking forward to coming back.

This house is just spectacular! Great views and steps from the beach! The kitchen had everything we needed. The primary bedroom is an oasis, the bed is super comfy. I absolutely loved the deck and the swing on the deck. I could have slept out there. It's a great place to have your morning coffee. We enjoyed our time at the beach, my son even started surfing because there was a board downstairs. Like I said it was a great week

Being able to watch the kids on the beach from the deck was perfect. There aren’t many homes that have shaded decks and this home has three. When the sun is one side, you have the opposite deck to enjoy the shade and beach breezes. I hope we can return again next year!

The property has a great location for views and access to the beach. The decks were great for lounging and watching the water and sunsets. I agree with the some of the other views that the home does need some updates. The two main issues are that the main door to the lower deck was extremely difficult to open. In the owners defense, the windows and door are new so it may just need adjusting. The other issue is that the water pressure in the showers is very low. Difficult for anyone with longer hair to rinse it out. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of ocean views from the various decks! And just steps away to a very clean beach. House needs some deep cleaning and maintenance (mold in primary shower, door handles to deck was very loose and lower deck door wouldn't lock with deadbolt so had to put shutters down. Even the breadbox was sticky and very dirty looking. On the outside a very nice house with specular views!
