There were 8 of us ranging in age from 2 - 75, so sometimes the stairs were a challenge. The house was very clean, and stocked with minimum supplies. Could have used more towels than one each person and there no kitchen towels. The decor was very nice and we enjoyed the pool. The area and view was great. 10 min walk to the big pool area. The overall experience was very positive and we would recommend this home. I would advise listing the all the amenities and include a floorplan on the website so people know what is included.

Second time our family has stayed here. 10 of us, three generations. Everyone enjoyed the facilities so much, we simply hung out in Margaritaville, and sunset walk. Looking to book again for next year. The vstays teem was fabulous, they really make sure your stay goes smoothly, and attend to any problems you may have.

This cottages was exactly as described, the pictures were very accurate. I had to call the front desk at 11:30pm because the Wi-Fi wasn’t working after I checked in, they showed up right away and resolved the problem. The pool was cleaned the next and the yard was sprayed. Some of the lights stopped working due to breaker tripping, after I called the front desk, some showed up within minutes and fixed it. I recommend this place because if you experience an issue else where, they are definitely not as responsive.

Another great stay at margaritaville. Sad that Jimmy Buffets death occurred during the stay. Maintenance people very helpful with minor issue and figuring out remotes for TVs. Will definitely be back soon. All personnel very cordial and helpful.

We decided to do a staycation for our anniversary. We opted for one of the 5 bedroom "cottages" with a private pool and hot tub. The place was beautiful - the water was warm and the vibe was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing weekend away. The property was immaculate. The house was very clean upon arrival. The check-in process was swift. We had to call the front desk for a few things and they were so helpful and fixed our 1 small issue we had right away. (The hot tub wasn't getting very hot & they sent someone over right away to look at it. They discovered the temp wasn't set high enough, so they adjusted it). We stayed on property the whole weekend. No real reason to leave this beautiful, tropical oasis! Highly recommend. Hope to stay again in the future! ...I gave 4 starts for property's general condition instead of 5, only because I was bummed the other pool was out of service. Also, I wish they had a few more activities to do around the resort if you don't want to swim all day.

Overall, our stay was great. The resort was clean and the staff friendly. Our cottage was clean and ready at 12 pm so we could check in early. I would recommend bringing extra trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. My only wish would be an adult-only pool.

I used to complain about certain aspects of the hospitality industry. I have come to realize that acceptance, kindness and gratitude is a far better approach to criticism…when someone may feel that they are doing their best.
However, there were some discrepancies. The pool alarms (although necessary and a nice safety feature for small children and those who cannot swim) were slightly too aggressive on children’s ears (the ear is highly sensitive at certain developmental ages), individuals with hearing loss, cognitive impairment and individuals or even our pet friends may be frightened by extreme noise (PTSD, anxiety or even those who like to sleep in while on vacation, for instance).
We were also not notified that if the pool door closed…we may be locked out and did not have access to the code. The resort took a very long time to get the code for us and we had our children with us.
The cabanas were quite expensive…we
understand that it is a resort. However, we felt we were being priced-gauged (especially in this economy). We were also turned away for bringing our children snacks to the pool…and, therefore, we were forced to pay for extremely expensive food options for our children (most of which was unhealthy). It was also my son’s birthday and when we were asked if we had something to celebrate…we said yes (birthday) and it did not go further than that. I’m fact, we had to

House is absolutely beautiful; however, the trim outside patios and patio floors have mildew... cottage was not cleaned very well (had silly string from previous renters in one of the bathrooms and all around the pool had used balloons). Not a lot of privacy for private pool and hot tub. People next door on last night were so loud and partied outside until at least 3am and we had to be up at 4am for airport.

This house by far was our least favorite. The cottage cleaning company needs to do a better job. We had a few lights out, we had a sink that wouldn't drain, the floors were dirty (looked clean but when you walked the bottoms of your feet were very dirty and black. Notified the front desk and they sent someone down to clean but it still wasn't good. It was that way in all areas including the bedrooms. The brick patio in the back and all around the pool could use a good power washing as it is very dirty as well. The cleaning staff need to be doing a better job as one of the showers on the 2nd floor had a large wad of hair on the shower wall from someone who stayed there before along with a partial bar of soap on the shower floor and blue shower gel still on the shower floor. The trash bin outside the house was full of garbage that wasn't in trash bags that was stinky and moldy. The trash collection people only took items that are in trash bags. We made sure all of our trash was always in a bag but it was disgusting to take the trash out their due to all the old loose trash in it. The other cottages we have rented have been good so we are taking that this one just needs a lot more attention to it. We love having a cottage with a pool and hot tub which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.
