Comfortable, unique, artistic, mountain home! Would highly recommend. If you are sensitive to light when sleeping be sure to bring a sleep mask, lots of beautiful windows.

Very much enjoyed a 5-day getaway to Jake's beautiful home in the nearby Annex neighborhood of Fernie. The home has everything we needed plus that rooftop deck with the incredible views! A 10-minute walk to 2nd Avenue and all the dining and entertainment options in Fernie made it very convenient. Thank you!

Yvonne and Jake's house is a really nice and confortable place to stay in Fernie. Everything you need is already there and you have beautiful views on the surrounding mountains. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this place in Fernie.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Fernie, and this property only heightened our experience. The large modern windows provide a great view of the surrounding mountains / a perfect setting for an evening drink. The location is also great; we walked to every meal and were only two blocks from the fly fishing guides downtown. I will definitely try to stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying in this property. Appreciated the build, furnishing, decor and especially the reuse of old wood. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the living area views and the patio. Very close to the Fernie downtown area (10min walk) and also the great Japanese restaurant Yamagoya 2 mins around the corner and the Happy Cow icecream store so close by!

We enjoyed staying at this unique property for 10 days while we explored in and around Fernie. The location was within walking/biking distance of everything in town, which is why this place appealed to us. Early morning coffee was perfect on the front couch as the sun hit the mountain range what could be seen from the giant windows. Everything was perfect- from check-in to check out- we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing experience in this unique mountain house. Location is close to everything. They have cruiser bikes that are fun to take out. We will be back for sure!! Jake was very accommodating and quick to respond to my emails.

We were made to feel like family. The accommodation is welcoming and anticipates the needs of guests. Mint water, bikes, and chocolate are a few of the amenities that make guests feel at home. And the windows, oh the windows . . offer a view that fills the senses. Unforgettable.

Great family spring break snowboard trip !!

We stayed here Mar. 24 - 28 to spend time snowboarding. The owners respond quick and are really helpful in answering any questions. When you get in this beautiful home there is a binder full of information on how things work around the house. There is a washer and dryer which was nice to dry our gear after a day of boarding. The home is walking distance to many restaurants and stores. The only downfall there is no cable t.v. so I was not able to watch hockey at night. There is Netflix to watch though. We can't wait to book our next stay, thank you for making us feel at home!
