we enjoyed our stay so much.
the first thing I noticed was the incredible view out the patio on the main floor.
clear and unobstructed views of the mountains and beautiful pine tress.
I really liked the fireplace. it came in handy on the cold mornings. It was nice sitting by the fire, drinking coffee.
the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials.
the beds were soft and comfortable.
i really liked how the master suite was 2 floors away from the lower bedrooms.
there were no issues parking.
the town was less than 10 minutes away.
we enjoyed zip lining, fly fishing, and white water rafting with Montana Whitewater and spent two days seeing all the Yellowstone national park has to offer.
All in all a great vacation!!!

The saddle ranch community was a very convenient ski in /out stay and had incredible views from the deck in the morning! We had a group of 8 staying there and would have liked some more toiletries and towels available! — to note, the skyline bus system that runs to the main base only runs until 6 pm and the buses were not on time when we did use them (this is something that was not very clear) thankfully we had rental vehicles to rely on after we figured that out! Overall we were happy with the stay and now know what to expect. We would happily stay again!

When we arrived the entry code given did not open the door. I had to call and a new code was issued. There was no Kleenex in master bathroom and there was no broom or dust pan. I ask for these items and they were brought to the condo the next day. The master bedroom smoke alarm was defective and removed. I am not aware that it was replaced. The condo is four levels. It is cold in the bottom level two bedrooms and hot in the top level were the master bedroom is. The property was clean and well kept. It is not a ski in ski out property. There is a short walk to the end of the parking lot to ski down to a lift, and a much longer walk back from Moonlight Lodge. I have certainly had longer walks and you do not have to get a shuttle. There are good views of the mountains from the different levels in the condo. It would have been nice to have access to Moonlight Lodge (members only) for food as it is an 11 minute drive to the base with limited options and town must be 25 minutes. Trade offs is what it is about. Over all we were very satisfied with the property and the folks a Stay Montana were very helpful.

Beyond expectations
We really enjoyed the rustic setting, and the Bev Doolittle art was an added bonus. Plenty of kitchen utensils and linens for our group of four.

Not exactly as described
NOT ski in/ski out. Location of lift is misrepresented.
Check out/clean up needs refinement. The garbage disposal is complicated and time consuming. Don't try to do that on the way to the airport or schedule 20 extra minutes.

Just returned from a great 5 days in Big Sky. The resort is massive and once we kind of got our bearings this property served us well. Short walk to slopes in the am and back at end of day. Nice small hot tub with great views. Sleeping accommodations good for 4-5 adults if needed. Only drawbacks were things we have been accustomed too in previous vrbo. No dishwasher pods as required to run dishes before we left or garbage bags. These things seem little but when you get all the way up to The mountain you’ll understand. Garbage has to be taken about 3 miles to a public dumpster which was inconvenient but not end of world. We would definitely stay again but just check to make sure what will be there. Overall clean n convenient.

Misleading Listing
Multiple pics on the listing do not match the property. The bunk bed is not wood, but aluminum and squeaks loudly with any movement made. There was only one couch in the living space, not two as shown which limited seating all together and had to move dining chairs to the area to do so.
There was also no dishwasher tablets provided and had to purchase our own from a shop in the village.
Lastly, there was no communication on where to put trash once full. We could not locate a dumpster and the listing didn't mention where to throw out. So we had to place them outside to not stink up the place.
Other than the above, everything else was great. The place was very clean and matched the listing.

Not a good choice to rent. First off the keypad wouldn’t work so checking it took a while.
Next up, we were aware that most places don’t have air conditioning. However, most places provide box fans to put in front of your windows. Not only did they not provide any, the master bedroom doesn’t even have exterior windows. There were also holes in several of the window screens throughout the house so we would wake up every morning with mosquito bites. The mattresses and sheets were also terrible. So needless to say it was not an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our visit hear but the place needs some repairs. The bunks are sketchy, trouble gaining access to unit, lights are burned out, pull out couch is very very uncomfortable. Recliner needs to sit adjacent the post or it will tip over (side/leg is broken). Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils, pots and pans. Fireplace and hot tub - Awesome! All in all - the location is great and we had a good time.

Annual ski trip
First time at Big Sky and it was awesome. This property was very comfortable for all. I recommend AWD vehicle if during winter. They keep roads plowed but it can remain hard packed if there has been good snow. Views from living room were incredible.
