If you want to connect with nature with the comforts of home this lakefront home near Lakeside is the perfect place! This stunning A-frame home is surrounded by trees and the lake, and features a private dock, an enormous deck. Lakeside is a small town located between Reedsport and North Bend, nestled among the trees a few miles east of the ocean. This particular home is right on North Tenmile Lake, in a secluded and peaceful area away from the highway, close to the nearby cities for services and supplies. From this home you can enjoy boating, fishing, watching for wildlife, and basking in the beauty of nature. This cabin was hand built by the owner and family and was designed to be a relaxing family get- away for boating and recreation. Start a fire in the pellet stove, have a seat on the comfortable sofas, and gaze out the windows at the gorgeous surroundings. When it gets too dark to see outside, you can flip on the satellite TV, bring along a Blu-ray, DVD, or VHS movie to watch, access the WiFi, play a provided board game, or have a friendly tournament on the ping-pong, pool or foosball tables in the downstairs game room! Use the well-appointed, beautiful kitchen (stocked with all sorts of fun gadgets like an Keurig coffeemaker, slow cooker, blender, mixer, and even a waffle iron) to cook up a nice dinner for everyone, and sit down together to enjoy a family-style meal filled with conversation and laughter. Serve at the dining room table which seats 8 or on the deck with seating for 10. When it's bedtime, you will have two bedrooms each with a queen bed; or the loft which has a queen and a full bed; or the game room which has a full futon, queen sofa-bed or trundle twin beds. Altogether, 12 guests will have cozy and warm places to rest up for another day of vacationing. Don’t worry; there are three full bathrooms for everyone’s comfort. Outside, you will find 3,000 square feet of deck space where you can sit, relax, and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of nature. Even better, you will have access to a gas grill, firepit, private dock with space to moor two or three boats, and two kayaks, a paddleboat and a 12' rowboat for you to use during your visit! The trail down to the dock is a bit steep and has lots of steps (that beautiful view is about 90 vertical feet off the water) so pack an cooler and head to the dock to spend few hours enjoying the water. With such a fabulous, secluded, lakefront location, this home is perfect for a getaway from the stress and strain of everyday life. Whether you choose to stay at this house and relax, or venture out and explore the nearby dunes, the beach, and the cities of Reedsport and North Bend, you will have an exciting variety of activities within easy reach. Book this spectacular lakefront home now, and start looking forward to a relaxing trip surrounded by the beauty of nature!

Great property wirh breathtaking views. We arrived at night, in the rain, so the absolute darkness was a little scary. But once we settled in, everything thing was amazing. The owners left detailed instructions on EVERYTHING, even what to do in a power outage (which we had 2- each about 4 hours long).

The property has breathtaking peaceful views. I couldve stayed at the cabin the whole 5 days without leaving. Great books to read and fun games to play. Kitchen had eveything needed.

This is a fantastic cabin for quiet, peaceful get away nestled in the trees overlooking the lake with awesome views. I am glad that I brought my fishing backpack that holds my tackle and a couple of poles as it is a bit of a hike down to the boat dock. My fishing backpack made it so I can carry 2 additional poles with my freed up hands. If you don't have that type of backpack and you have to carry 4 fishing poles plus a tackle box and lunch bag, it could be rather difficult to do in a single trip down to the dock with that much gear. So, one should plan accordingly. Ringos boat marina on South Ten Mile Lake were great to work with for renting a boat. They answered all my questions over the phone ahead of time and are very friendly. The nice boat dock worked out very well for the bass boat that I rented from them. Thank you so much for sharing your nice cabin. We had an awesome time!

This property was amazing for a relaxing getaway with friends! Enough space and rooms for personal space, but amazing features for hanging out! We absolutely loved the hot tub and kitchen - that’s where we spent most of our time! And the dock was very well stocked, it was so much fun for a weekend! We will definitely be back!

We had our 4th stay at McDragonfly and, really, we're just considering it our annual family retreat now! Great hosts, all the amenities, beautiful property, secluded and tons of fishing and boating activities!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cabin by the lake! The place was clean and very well stocked. We all had a blast playing pool and Foosball, then relaxing in the hot tub. This was the perfect home base for our Oregon adventure trip!

Great home with beautiful view of Tenmile Lake. We very much enjoyed our stay at the McDragonfly Cabin. Our trip was centered around spending timing with family and friends at the dunes, so it was great to decompress and relax back at the cabin. One of our family members had to work most of the week, from the cabin. They enjoyed using the porch as a beautiful office. The wifi worked great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for easy access to the lake. I was hesitant because of the way the lake access was advertised but it was meandering and not much more than a little hike. The house has everything you need, including wood for the fire pit and had plenty of room with three levels. The only drawback was parking but the host provides excellent directions and suggestions. Was a great vacation.

Loved everything about this house. The walk to the boat dock is a challenge, but worth it.

Clean and comfy. Lots to do and postcard worthy views. Love, love, love that you don't walk into a fridge and cupboards filled with old, opened and used foods like most other rentals. Thank you for that. It is a special home built with care and love AND they share it.
Owners responded quickly to questions and were gracious.

This place was an amazing fit for me and my family!!! The view is unbeatable and the accommodations are clean, comfortable and homey. They have almost anything you could need for cooking, barbequing, even roasting marshmallows over a camp fire. We loved it so much we booked a return trip before we even left. :) I high reccomend this stay!

We visited Lakeside for my lil Bro’s 40th. This A frame on the lake was perfect for our family! Well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice warm pellet stove for chilly Nov nights. Sunrise over the misty lake was lovely. The trail to the dock was a little precarious as anticipated. But the kids & dog did fine. We really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, row boat & paddle boat, fishing off the dock, playing foosball & pool in the game room. Very fun, relaxing family time. The place is not easy to find so I recommend reading the directions the owner emails, do not rely on GPS/map apps it’s misleading.

We loved it! I would advise there is only tv downstairs. And there are alot of stairs.
But everything you could ask for was provided. Just bring your fresh food and clothes.
They even had clothes and jackets, if needed. Even shoes. Crazy but true. These folks are immaculate hosts.
Be aware, there are dead animals on the walls. Just look out the window instead. The view is magical...

The silence and serentity was just what we needed. The views are beautiful. The steps are a little tricky down to the fire pit but otherwise we loved it.

The cabin was very nice as advertised. We cooked all our meals at the house and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was raining or very foggy most days so we enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. We rented a boat and enjoyed some time on the lake.

Cute spot for our family getaway. Lots of games, good amount of space, and plenty of bathrooms! Indoors was clean and well organized, though the outside and swimming dock could use a little TLC, we found this home to be beautiful and relaxing… and what great views! Would stay again.

This was a perfect vacation. Secluded location, but if you need to go to town for some more food it isn’t a full day affair. Our goals for the week were simple, surround ourselves with nature and do nothing except maybe hike and kayak. Mission accomplished. We hung out in the house where the views are beautiful. Having the dock right outside with kayaks made getting out early to kayak an easy day goal. We found a few short hikes in the surrounding dunes and at Eel Lake which gave us stuff to do away from the house. The house had everything we needed, even a pair of loaner binoculars which was great since I forgot to pack my own. During the afternoons we were visited with flybys of turkey vultures and osprey. Other things we saw on the lake included deer, Canada geese, king fishers, great blue herons, numerous swallows and smaller birds. This morning on our last kayak outing we had a bald eagle fly over our boats on Blacks Arm. Truly a magical get away.

Perfect house for our 4th of July weekend
House was beautiful and comfortable for our 6 people. Had everything we needed and then some. The owners really have made this a great vacation home. The dock was perfect for our boat. Long trek back up from the dock but not as bad as some houses around the lake. Thank you!

Perfect place for a large family vacation.
We had four generations of family stay at this property for four days. We all had a great time with all the activities available. The kids played pool, foosball, fished and swam from the dock, and enjoyed s'mores. The adults boated, kayaked, and SUP'd.

It was lovely, so welcoming and hospitable. We were in town for a wedding. We had adult Grandchildren and 1 year old Great Granddaughter staying with us. We were so busy with wedding preparations that we didn’t get to enjoy the lake as much as we would like. Everyone wants a return trip. Thank you so much.

Gary was fantastic. When we got there the power was out due to weather. Gary got back to us very quickly with all the information we needed from keeping us up on the power ETA to how to light the gas stove..
even though there was rain and wind 90% of the time we were there, we still found a chance to take out the kayaks. The house was very clean and well stocked. Even the pans and knives were good unlike most rentals we’ve stayed in. The house was definitely built for taller people. Everything was tall including the beds. They were very comfortable but getting in and out would have been easier with a step stool.
There was a littLe dog that would hang out in the driveway making it difficult to drive in and out. Even tried to come in the house a time or two. Also doing his business in the yard. We tried to keep it cleaned up.
We had a fantastic time!
