Great stay. Property as advertised with plenty of room for our multi-family group. It rained several days on our trip and we did not feel too couped up. The deck and porch room were perfect. Yard and dead end-ish street made for safe play and bike riding for the kids. House was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom necesities. Our only complaint was the water. Not sure if it was typical or due to heavy rain and it being the end of August but it was very mucky, stinky and overrun with seaweed.

We loved our time at Carpe Diem. The location was beautiful as well as the home. We met the owners who I had constant contact with. Suzanne always got back to me quickly. Thiis house has much room for games outside. The grandkids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing. Rick and Gavin had a nice bike ride and then went fishing in nearby areas. Rick, Chris and Lucas enjoyed a game of golf at a nearby course. Remember to wear a collar shirt.. The firepit was used almost nightly. Hoping to return for another visit in the future. Thank you Suzanne and Aaron for your generosity of this beautiful home. There was more than enough room for the 10 of us! Berni

We had a wonderful week! Carpe diem fit our families needs perfectly. The fishermen caught fish, the water lovers enjoyed the shallow sandy waterfront and the kayaks were a wonderful extra. Suzanne was great to work with. Many memories were made.

There were 11 of us, ages from 83 to 12. We loved the huge yard and the gated deck for the dogs. The bay was sandy but a bit shallow at the dock for my boat, great for walking or wading in. There’s no ac but plenty of fans. Absolutely would stay there again. Thank you for sharing your place.

We enjoyed our two-week lake vacation! The owners were very responsive to our questions and included many family-friendly touches in the home. Our 3-year old grandson enjoyed playing with the toys in what he called the "treasure chest". Great location for our son to use his kayak. We especially enjoyed hanging out with family and friends on the large deck facing the water.

We had a great experience renting here. House is a good size for 4 different family’s that we had staying here. Beautiful location right on the water with a sandbar right off the shore. Kids played in the water all day and had a blast.
Lots of towels available, & kitchen was full of supplies needed for cooking. Only downside are the mattress’ - they could really use an update.

Renting this house was wonderful. The owner was very communicative with us throughout the entire process. The house was well kept and was big enough for 7 adults, 2 children, and 4 dogs. The kids absolutely loved to walk out to the sand bar directly in front of the house every day.

Dear Suzanne and Aaron:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carpe Diem very much. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had so much fun swimming in the lake and the kids loved kayaking and my daughter rode across the lake in a kayak and enjoyed it very much. We loved the fires at night and then would go inside and play cards or put puzzles together. You even had things for the children to play with. We loved the bedrooms and had plenty of room to space ourselves. I even got to zoom for my 50th class reunion because of covid -19. It was such an enjoyable vacation and we loved the steps and sand in the water. Thank you for making us feel like it was our home. We loved it. Hope to be back next year from August 7-August 14th.

Our family of 10 had such a wonderful week. The home is very spacious and the property was large for the 5 children to play all sorts of activities. The lake is shallow, which made it so nice for swimming and floating and we had the kayaks out every day. The owners are delightful to work with and we're hoping to return next summer.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we have already started planning for next year! The kids enjoyed using the kayaks and playing the games. There were plenty of bath and bed linens, kitchen items, fans and outdoor chairs. The house is located on a quiet, dead end road with friendly neighbors. The owners were very prompt with replies to our questions before, during and after our stay. We look forward to staying again next summer!

The property was clean and has great lakefront footage. Very stressed out upon arrival. We had a neighbor that decided to take it upon herself to lecture us about "good choices." We are a family who likes to joke around and have a little fun. Felt like I was being watched and scolded by her when I am in my 40's. (I would like to point out that all the neighbors were not like this.) She obviously had nothing better to do than to watch every move we made. Stressed me out and made me feel very uncomfortable. Seemed to get better as the weekend went on. I don't know if that is because I didn't see her and receive another lecture or if I just got to the point where I spent the money for a relaxing vacation and decided to not let someone rain on my parade. I really did love the property just not the nosey neighbor.
