Clean And Comfortable Family Friendly Condo In Tahoe City, With Pool
About this house rental
Nestled in Dollar Point, this charming house for £211 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This secluded and cozy tri-level condo is in the Villas development one mile from Tahoe City. It has 3 bedrooms and a loft, with 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 8 people. Downstairs are two bedrooms with a queen bed each, and a shared bathroom with tub and shower. At the entry level is another bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom with shower. The beds are dressed in crisp cotton sheets with fluffy down comforters and pillows. Half a flight upstairs is the living and dining room, kitchen and deck. The living area is open to the loft above, which has 2 twin beds. The loft is accessible by a sturdy, built-in ladder (probably not be suitable for very young children, but perfect for older children and teens to have their own space ). The living area has a wood burning fireplace (wood not supplied) and a fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include wifi, cable HDTV, beach and picnic supplies, washer/dryer, and an array of games and books. At the entry to the Villas (a 2 minute walk from our unit) is a bike/walking trail to town and points beyond such as the trail along the Truckee River or along the lake to Sugar Pine Point. Ski areas such as Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Homewood are about 15 minutes away. Tahoe City has many fine restaurants, shopping and museums. Local beaches and parks such as Skylandia Beach and Tahoe City Commons are a short distance by foot, bike or car. There is a weekly farmer's market at the Commons, as well as music and activities on summer holidays. The Clubhouse at the Villas has a lovely pool in a park setting with tall pines, tennis courts, and a sauna, which is included for guests. You will find big towels for the pool in our unit. We are strictly a non smoking unit, do not permit loud or raucous parties, limit the number of people staying in the condo to 8 or less, and ask that you respect our place as you would your own. Pets are permitted only after paying a non-refundable $50 fee.. We are happy to share our recommendations for activities and answer any questions you may have about Tahoe. We hope you will be comfortable enjoying lovely Tahoe while visiting our condo.

Great place and location! We’ll stocked kitchen and nice fire place. The hallways in the lower level were a bit cold at night, but all in all a great place to stay for a ski trip!

The host ensured that we had an awesome stay. The house was clean and comfortable. There’s your basic kitchen needs available and all of the beds were very comfy. Very close to Tahoe city and a short 15 minutes to palisades which made our stay so fun. A nice neighborhood to walk our dogs in too. 10/10 would recommend!

If you want noise this is your place. From the floors creaking every step you take and feel as if you are going to fall through the floor each step you take on the uneven flooring throughout. The complex is off the main highway so constant noise from traffic. I normally never write reviews, but I am just very disappointed. Would love a refund especially since my family was supposed to join us but advised against it. Highly recommend a different place.

The unit was fine. The bathrooms were very small but functional. The loft with the twin beds does not have safe access. That ladder to the loft was loose and not safe to access.

The kitchen was fully stocked and the location was great. The pool and tennis courts are just down the path. The upstairs room and bathroom is pretty small but that's the nature of the layout. It worked perfectly for our family of 4. We will be back!

The condo was perfect for our group for a trip to Tahoe to go to Palisades. It's close enough that we could walk to the lake, a short drive to the mountain, and near to many restaurants. The beds were comfortable. As the listing says, the loft area definitely would not be kid-friendly (and a bit precarious for adults even). We didn't end up needing that area so it was fine.

We had a great time staying here. The place was huge. There were only 6 of us and it felt like it could fit more. The place felt very homely and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook a feast for dinner the one night.
It was super convenient getting to Safeway and the ski resorts from the location. The host was also very friendly and receptive to our questions. Overall, a great stay and a great value place.

Condo was perfect for a short weekend ski trip and as described. It was more than enough room for our family of four plus our dog. There was a huge storm so we weren’t able to get to Tahoe the night we originally planned. As the owner, Linda, didn’t have someone renting immediately after us, she offered to let us shift our stay back a day which worked out really well. It was also really easy to lug all of our ski equipment in and out as the designated parking spot is just 10 feet from the condo. Thanks, we’d love to stay again sometime!

My family and I stayed for 4 nights. The kitchen is clean and full equipment, perfect. The bedrooms tho not so much. We found bugs crawling on the mattress and on the wall In the bedroom next to the bathroom downstairs . We ended up not using that room. And the linen in the other bedroom next to it smell damp (not fresh).

We will likely stay here again, it’s perfect for our family and our Labrador.

We have stayed here twice now and really enjoyed it. The location is fantastic. Right near Tahoe city but out of the hustle and bustle. There are many great walks to be hard directly from the property down to the lake and beyond. The swimming pool is a very nice option and is heated to a very comfortable temperature even when cold outside. The property is somewhat dated and could use some upgrades, but it would be more expensive if those were done putting it out of our price range. The bathrooms are small but useable. Is that everything we need and the host is very kind and responsive. We had many bear sightings on the property, mostly a mama and her cubs, but they are not aggressive and this was very exciting for our children. We will likely stay here again, it’s perfect for our family and our Labrador.
