Nestled in Lake Placid, this attractive house for £316 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Lake Placid is a special place for any season. Voted by MSN as 1 of the 10 Best Outdoor Towns in America. Enjoy a beautiful home on Mirror Lake Drive in the heart of Lake Placid. This unique home has four bedrooms ( 3 private with closets, one opens to family room) three bathrooms, two kitchens, two wood burning fireplaces, private beach and a sauna. The kitchens are well equipped for cooking and entertaining. Private Adirondack balconies and patio. Minutes from Whiteface Mountain, home of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics. Morgan Lodge is walking distance to the village of Lake Placid and sporting events. More information: The house is on Mirror Lake Drive. It is on the corner of Beech Hill Circle and Mirror Lake Drive. It is across the street from the water but with our association beach directly across from us. We keep a canoe there for your use. The beach has a nicely graded sandy area with a very gentle slope for kids. It is yours to use except for the hours of 4-6 pm when it is restricted to owners only. Additional house information. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and hall bath. The third bedroom has twin beds and shares the third bath with the futon room that has a queen size futon bed. This room opens out to the family room. There are two kitchens and two fireplaces. All linens and some dry goods in the kitchen are also provided. There is a sauna. We are within walking distance to the village. Easy walk to everything. STR-200444 Keywords: House

Much bigger inside than it appears from outside. Very strong ADK theme which plays well in LP. Best part was location to the Village. Very walkable around Mirror Lake.

We thought at first that Morgan Lodge was directly on Mirror Lake with a view of the lake from the house, but quickly got over our error we had a lovely stay at Morgan Lodge. The home was spacious and comfortable. It was a quick walk down to the beach access area which had plenty of Adirondack chairs and the owner's guide boat available to us (even though we did not use it). The house was close to all we wanted to do, including the walking/running loop around Mirror lake and the boat tour on Lake Placid. There was a fire pit in the backyard with plenty of wood provided for our use. The street was quiet and wooded and close to the Cobble Hill trailhead. Dawn, the owner, responded immediately when we had questions.

Our family loves Lake Placid and Morgan Lodge is a wonderful place from which to explore the area. We enjoyed the views of trees and birds from the windows, the beach across the street, the canoe, the comfortable beds and furniture, the well stocked kitchen.... We hope to stay at Morgan Lodge again in the future!

I stayed at Dawn’s home for almost one week with my wife, brother and children. It’s a great spot for many reasons. It’s a charming home, very comfortable with everything you need. It’s very spacious with two finished levels. It’s located about a one-minute walk from the lake association private beach. There is a nice deck that wraps around much of the home. Plus, there is a patio area off the lower level with a firepit. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at Morgan Lodge, the house was comfortable and well provisioned and is at a great location close to but just far enough outside of town. Dawn, the owner, was very responsive and friendly. The kids loved the downstairs living space. Wish we could stay all summer!

The host was great with communicating in a timely fashion. The house was very clean and comfortable. The driveway was plowed and walkway shoveled when we got there after a few days of snow. I would recommend Morgan Lodge to anyone looking for a low key, relaxing place to unwind.

We enjoyed our stay, it was located near every attractions. I had in mind it was next to the lake maybe I miss read but the lake is accross the street. The house has everything you need and beyond. The communication with Dawn is really easy.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Morgan Lodge. The location is ideal, the lake access is a nice bonus and having split wood and a fireplace was welcome on quite a chilly fall weekend. We had some difficulty with streaming TV on a poor internet signal, but the owner was very responsive and seems committed to making the improvements for the future.

We stayed at this property with me, my wife, my almost 2 year old and my in laws- completely more than enough space for everyone. The house is as described, very lodgey and had everything you need. The beach access to Mirror Lake was hands down the best part about this find- perfect for our daughter and was never crowded with other visitors. You have about a little over a mile walk into town so pretty close by. Kitchen is pretty much stocked with everything, enough linens and any cleaning supplies you need which we appreciated. The basement area is another lounge area which was nice and we used the grill and outdoor fire pit often. We plan to rent this place again next year! Made some awesome memories and also really loved the neighbors- they were so nice and offered us up use of some of their toddler toys and swing!!

Morgan Lodge is a very nice place for a family getaway. The house definitely has a lodge vibe, and has everything you could need. Our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, had plenty of room for sleeping and just hanging out. The area is quiet with little traffic, and we were able to walk everywhere, as it is quite close to downtown Lake Placid. It has a great deck space for outdoor seating (morning coffee was amazing!) and if you are there in warmer months, the neighborhood private beach on Mirror lake is a hidden gem. We loved our stay, and would highly recommend.

Morgan Lodge was perfectly situated for us and our stay at Lake Placid during the horse show. It’s ideally situated near Mirror Lake to take advantage of walking into town, and the Cobble Hill trail is nearby too. The house is fantastic and was set up perfectly for the teenagers to have their own quarters downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook each evening, We will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend in Lake Placid at The Morgan Lodge! The location was perfect and a short walk to the village. The pictures do not do the lodge justice. The home was large enough to accommodate our group of 8 comfortably!

This home is clean, comfortable, and close to town- perfect for our family getaway. Comfortable beds and very comfortable family room area downstairs- great for our group of 7.
We enjoyed the town of Lake Placid and the skiing at Whiteface a short drive away. Our only disappointment was that there was not enough hot water for everyone in our group to take a warm shower after skiing.(5 of 7) The owner is very attentive, and is looking into the matter. We would definitely stay at Morgan Lodge again .

Property has *ALL* the comforts of home on a cabin scale. Private beach access is a great perk of this property. A bad weather day at this property was still very enjoyable. It could not have been easier to schedule and execute reservation. We would rent again on next trip to Lake Placid.

This was a wonderful lodge not located far from the center of town. It is a short walk to the beach and close to many good hiking locations. The property was neat and clean. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 6-11) and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and the owner was very helpful and was in touch with me regularly prior to our arrival.

Location was great! House was very goodfor the group of 6 we had. TV situation (available channels and no smart tv capabilities for us to login on our own) was a bit of a bummer since the reception was spotty! Group consensus: highly recommend some type of electronic entry rather than mailing keys back and forth between renter/ rentees. A bit frustrating that the housekeeping left an envelope for tip when it’s already something we pay for with the rental and for the most part we cleaned up after ourselves with dishes/ trash/ clean surfaces. Bathroom towels were not in any bathroom upon entry but instead are in put away in scattered closets in the house rather than left out with each new guest. Would be cool if they had left fire starters or newspapers etc. for fireplace to help it out As We didn’t come prepared with that stuff. Overall was a great weekend great rental! Would be come back again!

The home was wonderful. A gorgeous rustic cabin in the heart of Lake Placid. 15 minutes to Whiteface for skiing. Less than a mile from the Olympic Oval and right on the Mirror Lake walking path.

We had a great stay at this cozy home! The house was exactly as listed, and had everything we needed. It was extra nice that they left firewood :)~12 minute ride to windham and a nice walk to downtown area. We got to walk across the frozen lake, saw ice skaters and dogsledding! Would recommend to anyone looking for a winter weekend getaway.
