This is why no deposit is required. You can waive this fee but you will be required to place a deposit equal to the covered insurance which is $1500. You can also increase coverage to $3000 for an extra $20. This will be a requirement for anyone using the boat dock or under the age of 25. Please notify the property manager for any changes prior to your reservation. 2)Pet Owners; you will be required to place a deposit of $100 per pet, this will be returned 7 days after checkout providing there are no damages and you picked up after your dog. It is strongly recommended that you increase the Damage Insurance being provide with your reservation. 3)Anyone under the age of 25 must seek owners consent prior to booking. You may be required to place a refundable deposit.

The house was very clean, well maintained and the entire rental process was so easy. The location is wonder,ful the view is amazing. The only down side is the beds were not super comfy. We slept great just not a super mattress. Rental company exceed my exceptions with communication and was very quick to respond to questions prior to check in . I give it a 5+

When we arrived and turned on the TV the remote did not work so we drove to the store to buy new ones but still didn’t work so I called the homeowner. His voicemail said to text him which I did but 30 min. later still no call back so I just kept calling his phone over and over until he picked up, explained to him what was going on so he had me try the TV’s in the bedrooms which did work so he said he would have to call me back so my husband got down on his knees to change the channels which was ridiculous since we were to be there 5 days. The homeowner NEVER called us back but we were able to reprogram the remote 2 hours later in which I texted the homeowner again to tell him we got it working and again NEVER texted me back. Both beds were so freaking hard we slept on the couch and recliner. The stove had grease ALL over it and the coffee maker was greasy also. The cookware were few and old with rust. The front door has a big gap on the bottom and when it rained the water came in. The toilet down stairs was black inside and disgusting! Broken patio furniture. Emailed the homeowner to let him know that the shower was leaking down the wall and on to the floor and also leaking into the laundry room down below heavy, NO water pressure to even take a shower or to get the shampoo out of my hair but again he NEVER replied. We have stayed in Jamaica Beach for the pass 10 years and have never had this bad experience before so my advice is stay somewhere else!!!

Most of our stay was windy, rainy & miserable weather which I know is no one’s fault but Mother Nature. I had to get the laundry from the dryer downstairs bring it up fold and put towels away. The stove was in need of a good scrubbing, microwave and vent hood were very greasy. Silverware had dried food on several pieces. And on our last night there we had a visitor 🐀maybe you should rethink your cleaning crew. The laundry room looked like a junk shed & the propane grill looked unusable. This place needs a lot of TLC

It had all the plates and utensils you could ask for. We decided to have ourselves a homemade margarita and there was even a blender for us. You’re only a mile from the beach where you can drive your vehicle right onto the sand. Our advisor was easy to contact and was very responsive when needed. The house was designed to sleep 5 to 8 I believe the listing said, and it’s only made for 6. 2 of our guest had to use blow up mattresses. We definitely recommend this house!

As few beach houses were available, we decided to try this cannel house. We enjoyed the house and were surprised how much we liked the area. It is perfect for anyone with a boat. I asked the manager several times if there was a grill, but never got an answer. Upon arrival we found that it does have a grill, so we wasted our time finding a portable grill to bring with us. Grilling downstairs by the cannel was fun and reasonably cool, as there was a nice breeze. One big concern was that there was no noticeable way to get out of the cannel if someone accidentally fell in, so it would be a great concern especially for anyone with small children. The front porch has a nice view of the bay and the porch was a perfect place to watch the beautiful sunsets we had.

The house is small, but met our needs. There are plenty of outside seating areas (both covered and not) to enjoy, which is why one rents a house near the beach anyway! The property manager was very accommodating and easy to reach. We'd rent a property from him again anytime.

This house was perfect for our family of four and grandparents too! It was so nice to have patios on both sides of the house and look out on the water to enjoy the sunrise and sunset each day. Great trip to the beach, will definitely be back!

Took a 3 day weekend to Galveston with the fam so we could enjoy the beach. So glad we stayed here. While we were at the cottage We got to grill out on the bay porch. Son in law and husband got to fish. Had everything we needed while there including WiFi and satellite tv. Very comfortable little bay house and we are about to book again for a few months away!

Homeowner was quick to reply and very nice. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Kitchen and kitchen appliances could use updating. All furniture was comfortable and clean. Fishing rod rests/holders would be helpful. Price was right and fair. This home was great for fishing and a great family vacation place.

Amazing sunsets from the front deck and beautiful sunrises from the back deck! Loved staying on the cannal, brought our boat, owner was super helpful and available to our questions. Fun getting to know the Local neighbors. We had a great time and will come back!
