I can't say enough about this perfect vacation home. The personal touches from games, pool, pool house, location to the beach and decorative rooms exceeded my expetations. We have been to many beaches through the years and this is our favorite home to stay in. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

was good we had to sweep and mop floors when we got ther lots of dog hair and dirt on the floor some lights and and a ceiling fan didnt work my daughter slipped on the stairs and hurt her foot and anckle but the pool was nice and like the out door showers to keep all the sand and dirt out of the house

Great Location & Cleanliness
This house was great for our family vacation of 6 adults and 2 kids under 5. Location was very convenient with very short walk to beach access. House was very clean and thoroughly stocked with supplies. AC had issues one evening and someone was there the next day to fix it, which was appreciated. Would rent again and recommend to anyone looking for a convenient walk to the beach in a well-kept house. We also enjoyed having the crow’s nest for watching sunrises and sunsets!

Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t working properly upon our arrival, but someone came to the house right away to take a look at it. It couldn’t be repaired during our stay, but other than that, we have no complaints. Everything was clean and organized. I love how all the kitchen cabinets were labeled so you didn’t have to look everywhere to find something. Also, the owners provided and stocked the kitchen with supplies, as well as the bathrooms. I always bring lots of stuff, but found that I didn’t even need to use it. It was like being in paradise!!

So many of the reviews said this house was close to the ocean, clean, and comfortable and they are all right! This house was perfect for us, our three adult sons, and two daughter-in-laws!! We came here from NJ, Oregon, and Washington for a much needed family get together. Plenty of space for us all to hang out together along with also having privacy when we wanted. My husband and I took the master bedroom on the 3rd floor (with the amazingly big bathroom) and everyone else had the 2nd floor for their rooms. We enjoyed everything this house had to offer and it had a lot! Basketball net, pool with plenty of lounge chairs and floats, pool table, ping pong table, surf boards, hot tub, beautiful views from the decks, and so much more. The labels on the kitchen cabinets and the beach carriers to put our chairs in were so helpful. Everything was clean and decorated in a way that made us feel right at home. Thank you so much for allowing us to use this great space!

We had three generations for a much-needed family vacation, celebrating birthdays and seeing each other after many long months. It was a great house with plenty of room. My father-in-law has Alzheimer’s and the elevator was the only way he could get up and down, so it was a great help. We were however very disappointed in the rental company, I emailed them 3 times and never heard back from them. I know they received it as I had 2 different companies show up unannounced to deal with two of the issues. The house had many broken amenities that need to be thrown out and replaced. Things like the umbrellas for the pool are broken and there is no other form of shade back there. My adult sons was very disappointed in the fact that all the surf and skim boards were broken as that was a huge plus for picking this house. Several of the Adirondack chairs at the pool are broken and it’s dangerous to keep them as you go to sit down thinking the chair is fine. Most of the beach chairs need to be thrown away. The grill was totally disgusting and we had to give it a really good cleaning before we could use it. Many of the pans are missing their finish and are not safe to use. Many of the bikes needed to be fixed up so we could use them, some of the tires are very dry rotted and we were afraid they would pop. I could go on but the only other thing I will say was how the office handled our power outage. (we had a big rain storm) The paper said to call them so I called and they said they weren’t aware of anything and would look into it and get back to me. They didn’t... I called them back and a different lady said she needed to speak to her supervisor and got back on the phone and said it shouldn’t be out long but there not the power company and I’d have to call them. I did... And had none of the information the power company required. Very frustrating! We also thought they should disclose the fact that they have lots of cameras watchin

Great family vacation with our adult kids!!

This is a beautiful rental, that literally has everything you need and more. They have a full kitchen, with pots, pans, silverware, glass dishes and more. They do provide clean sheets and towels. There is one thing that that needs to be changed on the profile regarding the beds. They have 3 king beds, one full and 4 twin beds. The pool is a a perfect size for a party of 8-10 people. This is a perfect walk to the beach and the 2 outside showers were a great plus. Overall we would for sure stay there again!

Carolina Shores was great. Everyone we spoke to was professional and kind. Since this was our first home rental and we booked so far in advance we did check periodically to make sure all was still OK and each time they were understanding and courteous. We were fortunate that we were able to rent this house in May 2019 and loved it so much, that we scheduled it for May 2020. We loved it so much, we recommended it to my brother in law and they came in August 2019. We lost my Mother in September 2019 and then COVID hit, so we had to reschedule to May 2020. My husband lost his twin brother in a tragic accident, he was missing for 3 weeks before we found him after searching day and night. OUR FAMILY NEEDED A VACATION. Just some time to get away and reflect over the last year and a half. Our 3 adult children and spouses were able to join us. We appreciate the nice grassy yard and the house has everything we needed. Thank you to the Bennett family for sharing it with us. We will definitely be returning.

First Timers to OBX
We loved the house and the access to the beach was amazing! The pool was really nice, after going to the beach for the day! I can tell you, we will definitly be back. The garbage collection in the back for the Mattress Firm was not great, but we only noticed it once or twice. Maybe something can be worked out about that. thanks again, had a great time!

A week in Paradise
This was probably one of the best properties my family and I have stayed in! It was so clean and well stocked. The owners really put a lot of thought into the needs of their guests. They even sent a very thoughtful gift basket which was so unexpected and very much appreciated! I would definitely stay here again!!

For basically $1,000. a day (I don't count the 2 Saturdays) I think linens should have been provided and the beds made-up. Would have brought my own linens if I'd known they weren't making the beds. It was a longer walk to the beach than I had anticipated, you are 2 houses and a highway away. Listing did not include beach chairs, umbrellas or beach cart in description so we hauled all that to NC taking up valuable car space. Even called rental place to inquire before hand and woman I spoke to said she had not seen the house and if it wasn't listed it wasn't there. Really? You couldn't go look or call the owner? Got there and plenty of chairs and a huge cart.
And what is this $330 VRBO fee? For $1,000 a day it should have been absorbed by rental agency or owner.
On the bright side house was lovely and well appointed. they even provided lots of paper products. Elevator was great for our elderly dog. Just felt abused by VRBO fee, linen fee and not knowing about beach cart and chairs. Also at 3:30am (every morning) a trash truck empties the dumpster at the convenience store behind the house. Very loud.

4 generations of Barnes' had a wonderful week at Paradise! We celebrated a birthday for the oldest Barnes and a retirement from the USAF for a grandson! Paradise has everything you need for the beach: games for inside and outside, plus a pool and hot tub! All the cousins had a great time making tie-dye shirts (they each chose their own design and colors). With an iron-on stencil on back that read COUSINS CREW OBX 2019, they looked great and the kids were so proud of them. They all spent many hours at the beach and weather was perfect! We are all looking forward to next year when we get together again for another wonderful week in Paradise!

Great location! Well-equipped home with everything you will need.
Loved the location and the home overall. Lots to do recreationally from the pool, hot tub, bikes, corn hole and pool and ping pong tables. We used them all.
My issues came with the Mgt Company as I had to call them twice during my one week stay. The first issue was not a big deal and they addressed it the following day. Later in the week I had to call again regarding a strong odor coming from one of the bedrooms. 24 hours later I called again because no one responded. They ended up coming late afternoon the second day and found a leak and turned off the water in the kitchen. They informed us they would come the following day (Saturday) to repair. I found this not acceptable as we had to be out that morning by 10 and of course they were expecting the place to be cleaned as we exited. After insistence a plumber came later that evening.

This is our favorite beach house that includes everything you will need. This was our 4th year in this house and unless our family outgrows this home, we will continue to rent. We are not pleased with the rental agency and will only continue using them as long as we rent this house. Agency charges you for everything from fee to use a credit card to a fee for early reservation.

Could not have ask for a better place to have a family vacation. This place had everything you could want. The pool and 1 block from the beach was easily the favorite of everyone. Recommend it highly.

Second Stay at Paradise

This was our second stay at Paradise. We love the location of the home just a two minute walk to beach access. The home also is very well appointed with plenty of seating in the common area and a large dining room table to accommodate 11 of us. We appreciate the high chair and portable crib so that we don’t have to bring that along. In addition, this home has a very well stocked kitchen with any kind of utensil or cooking item you might need. The general consensus, however, is that the home really needs a deep cleaning - dust and grime on the door jams and hardware, mildew on the shower curtain liners, etc. In addition, the grill needs desperately needs replaced. Unlike our first stay we checked it out before purchasing food and decided we didn’t want to use it. The grates are in bad shape and the started doesn’t work. Lastly we had an issue with what was originally thought to be ants but turned out to be termites on the middle floor with the bedrooms. There were a lot of them - this is not an exaggeration, and it was a little unsettling. An exterminator came the Second or third day and it took care of them for the time being but that too was a little unsettling as we had small children and a dog. We hope that these issues are all corrected so that we can enjoy another stay at Paradise.
