This completely remodeled home sits on the edge of Pierce Creek and is an ideal home for a weekend getaway. Outside, find a huge wooden deck overlooking the creek in front of the house and in the back enjoy a gorgeous swimming pool, and hot tub with even more outside patio space. The property is a great place for hiking and exploring the woods, or when the creek is dry, searching for your own arrowheads. This four bedroom home is beautifully decorated in modern colors to create a warm and comfortable space for your vacation. In the main living area, enjoy a beautiful view of the creek through the patio doors. Comfy leather sofas and chairs provide ample room for stretching out in front of the flat screen TV beside a roaring fire in the huge rock fireplace. A large granite countertop with brand new appliances in the fully equipped kitchen is the perfect space for cooking meals for your friends and family. The spacious bedrooms sleep up to eight guests with one king , two queens and a set of full-size bunk beds. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated in shades of brown and turquoise accented with paintings of horses. Luxurious bedding will make it difficult to get up out of bed each morning. It was a little pricey but everything that was advertised. Beautiful setting on a great piece of property. Perfect for sitting outside and lounging. plenty of room for kids to play as well.

It was nice short but much needed getaway the pool and hot tub and pool table were special perks. Lots of back yard to play and walk. The house was nice the only thing was a/c at night needed to be turned down at little warm for some of us. Also the mattress in the bedroom across from the bunk room was not comfortable at all a rough first night. We would think about staying there again though.

We stayed at this property for a week in September 2023.
Pros:
Close to town, plenty of towels, beds comfortable, liked the pool, hot tub, and pool table. Had a Keurig and a drip coffee maker for coffee lovers. There were Keurig pods.
Cons:
Needs a deep cleaning. Dust of the bottom of the floors in several areas and on the intake vents for A/C, spider webs at the top of the ceiling in the living room. Traffic noises because you are close to a main road into town. A lamp in the living area had bare wires exposed at the switch. One of the sliding glass doors needed a repair to the lock, which I did myself.
Late one evening the A/C stopped cooling the house. I called the first thing the next morning. The repairman was unable to make it out until the afternoon. We decided to not wait for the repairman, so we checked out a day early. The property management company was responsive and refunded us two nights, one for the missed night and the other one for the night we slept in a warm house. These things happen, and I was impressed with the way the property management company handled it.

8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids, really enjoyed our stay. The home was well set up for 2 families with 2 bedrooms on either side of the house with a bathroom. There was plenty of room in the family room for everyone to hang out and we used the pool daily. Note that the latch on the pool gate is broken so if that’s important I’d check with the manager to see if that’s been fixed. I’d also recommend bringing your own pillows as all of the adults found them uncomfortable.
I would encourage the property management to pay more attention to cleanliness. There was dog hair everywhere (we did not have a dog) and two of the rooms had dead bugs in the corner.
Those issues aside, we loved all being together, watching movies, and playing in the pool at this house. It’s a short drive to downtown Wimberly with restaurants, cute shops, etc..

We had several issues that began at check in. When we arrived at 4 (which showed to be check in time) the cleaning lady was done cleaning the property. We had to wait outside for her to finish what she was doing and then for her to sweep and mop. When we finally got to go into the property there was still a load of laundry in the dryer that we had to put away. Next issue was with one of the bedrooms. The electricity in that room kept constantly turning on and off. We brought up the issue to Hill Country Premier Loding and was told that the owners thought it was because a floor fan was being used on the other side of the house and they wanted to wait on sending someone out to look at it. We shut that fan off and still had the same issue. This also meant that none of the plugs along the same wall in the living room worked. Property shows to have wifi but the box for the internet would not turn on. The tv works off of wifi which meant we didn't get to use any of the tv's throughout the house. The propane grill was not usable due to the connecter hose being rusted.
The only positive thing about our stay was getting to use the pool and hot tub. I would recommend that they buy a skimmer for renters to use to get all the bugs out of the pool.
We definitely will not rent this property again the next time we visit Wimberley.

Overall, this is a nice property The backyard and pool area are quiet and relaxing, and the house was clean. The house is located behind a business, which made it confusing as to whether we were at the right place. Since we were following each other in separate cars after eating in Wimberley, it made it a bit unsafe since it is a busy road. The kitchen is minimally stocked, so keep that in mind if you plan to make meals there. If you like firm mattresses, you will probably sleep well since all the beds have fairly firm mattresses. We enjoyed our stay.

Smell like bug spray, sheets were left in washer from previous person or maid service, dryer full of towels, you cld not adjust hot tub heat, curtain in dining area had water stain, air maker froze up, poor lighting in bathroom, bathroom sink drained too slow, mattress in bunk room needs replaced. Will not stay here again.

The oven was broken so we were unable to cook the meals that we bought groceries for. We had to eat out for pretty much all of our meals as a result. We asked the property manager to get the oven fixed or reimburse us some amount to compensate. They couldn’t get someone out to repair so they offered us a $200 rebate. It cost us about $400 so the rebar didn’t cover our cost or inconvenience of our $1,534 stay. The hot tub wasn’t very clean and two of the jets were broken. Multiple door handles on the sliding glass doors were broken so we didn’t use them. The thermometer on the grill sits on 300 so don’t know if it’s working. There was a dog toy and a half full glass of water sitting on the living room floor when we arrived so not sure how clean the house actually was.

The creek in front was dry but would have really been picturesque after a little rain. The property is actually better than the pictures make it look. Would definitely go back to this location!

As others have mentioned, house is in need of a good clean and something to get rid of the musty smell. Both bathroom sinks were clogged.
Pool table and hot tub were fun. Still a bit chilly for the pool in April.

I love how easy it was to find, right off the highway but still felt secluded. Tree line out back is gorgeous. Pool was fun, pool table is great and home itself is really cute. A few suggestions. Deck out front by dry creek is in need of replacement. A few of those boards are dangerously loose and feel like they can snap and give way at any moment so we spent zero time out there. Some of the furniture inside needs to be replaced. Loose/broken legs on a few chairs. Doors inside need painting and several curtains on sliding patio doors have what appear to be yellowing water damage? Not sure but Tue home is overall great. I am being picky. We all had a great time. Never heard complaints from anyone about beds, linens or towels. A bit pricey but I understand that is due to the current market.

Lovely house and property with great location, but in need of DEEP CLEAN
My wife, 3 and 1 year olds stayed at the Arrowhead Falls property for 3 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful home on a massive lot, with great patio area, pool, greenspace, and creek! The home itself, has been updated, and is very cozy with lots of room to spread out. I will say however, that the house is need of a deep clean, mainly the floors. Upon arrival we noticed that there was dirt, dust, and spiderwebs everywhere on the floors and underneath the dining room chairs. We lifted a rug and saw an outline of dust in the living room. This may not be such an issue for some, but for us with a crawling infant and toddler that are constantly on the floor it was a huge issue. The broom in the house was missing half of the bristles, and there was no dust pan in sight, so I had to buy them at the store so we could clean up. I did eventually find a vacuum cleaner in a closet, that didn't appear to have been used in a long time (still full of dust). The comforters on the beds that we used, had not been washed, and had stains on them as well. There was a musty smell to the place due to a lack of thorough cleaning, and the AC vent filters were clogged with dust. Since we are being charged a cleaning fee to stay at this property, there needs to be assurances that the house will indeed be clean for us.
I would certainly consider staying here again with my family, but it is very important that we are staying in a clean house. Also it's important that the property owner is aware that their cleaning service is not doing their job properly.

We were in for a Texas State graduation with family and the house was perfect. It was exactly as stated on the website. We are thinking of staying again, but in the summer so we can enjoy the pool.

Nice house for a family group
We enjoyed the spacious house layout and amenities. There is a bit of road noise so don't expect a tranquil hill country stay but it's a beautiful home and large yard. We saw several deer each evening!
The location was great for our planned visits to nearby wineries and Wimberley. Shopping was nearby and plenty to in the area.
Be aware the location is behind a commercial business so it wasn't obvious at first where the driveway was. The driveway has a pretty steep slope over a low water crossing and is pretty narrow.
Great management company and great house, will definitely rent from them again!

Favorite Trip this Year!
Arrowhead Falls was so much more than we hoped for. It was stocked with the basics we needed. The inside was clean and decorated well. The absolute bonus was the pool table! Our whole family loved it and it was a surprise. The pool was wonderful to have when the sun was out and the hot tub was enjoyable on the cooler nights. It had rained so the little creek in front was full and flowing which sounds peaceful. Wimberley Square is less than 3 minutes up the front. Love this house! Love this town! We'll be back!
