Situated in Batemans Bay, this attractive cottage for £140 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. OUR LINEN OPTIONS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE from 20 April to 20 August, so please bring your own sheets and towels. No more getting into a hot car when you are covered in sand and salt. Located right on the beach, you will find this the archetypal beach house. Comfortable and well appointed with all amenities including a toasty combustion fire, gas BBQ, a CD player with a selection of CD's, TV, DVD, VCR, MP3 jack, dishwasher, espresso machine, full laundry and a second toilet and bathroom which is accessible from outside only - perfect for when enjoying a BBQ or for off the beach. There are many extras including an esky, picnic basket, a cupboard full of books, games, toys, DVD's and videos.There is also a large supply of beach toys including boogie boards, under the house. We also supply tea, coffee and milk for your arrival There are 3 bedrooms with 2 queens and a tribunk with another single in the third bedroom so will sleep 3 couples comfortably. Apart for a few stairs into the cottage, it is all on one level inside and access to the beach is virtually flat. I can provide at no charge an over-the-toilet commode chair and shower chair for our older guests or a cot, high chair and baby bath for the little ones, on request. There are large decks front and back, both with outdoor furniture and a a gas BBQ and plenty of parking for your boat or extra car. There are timber floors in the main areas, carpet in the bedrooms. We are very close to town, on an excellent swimming beach which is also suitable for most other water sports including fishing, windsurfing/kite surfing, kayaking etc. Please let us know if you wish to bring any pets with you. You can enjoy flexible arrival and departure times when vacancies allow but please check with us first. NB our prices cover up to 6 people but it can sleep 8, $25 pp for any extras. Please note that linen is not included but can be hired for $15 unmade or $20 made up, per person. There is a surcharge of $100 on single nights because of our high cleaning costs. If we are booked here, please have a look at our other beach front property, The Riverside Townhouse. Located right on the dunes with magnificent views of the Tollgate Islands and the bay. It is about 2 kilometres to town (enjoy walking into town via the beach at low tide). There is a new IGA with a bottle shop, take away and hair salon and is in a quiet residential area. The property is unfenced but dogs are allowed inside provided they are fully house-trained, kept off the furniture, are kept well groomed and free of sand and treated for fleas (tick treatment also recommended). Please note our throws are for your comfort and are not dog blankets. We charge a $30 fee per dog per booking to cover frequent specialist carpet cleaning, preventative flea treatments to the property etc. If your dog is a shedder, we would appreciate you using the vacuum or additional cleaning may be charged. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog. PLEASE NOTE - WE DO NOT ACCEPT SCHOOLIES OR GROUPS. Local Attractions Apart from the beach at your doorstep, there are the wonderful shops in Mogo and of course the Mogo Zoo, Birdland, bushwalking, fishing, golf, many other water sports including cruises up the river, fishing charters and hire boats. We have two cinemas, many clubs and a great choice of al fresco waterfront restaurants to choose from. You can always just enjoy walking your dog along the dog friendly beach around the corner, but please do the right thing and clean up after your pet. NB WE BOOK WEEKLY ONLY DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAY, HAVE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM ON WEEKENDS AND DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM ON LONG WEEKENDS where the weekend rate will apply to all nights. SINGLE NIGHTS will be considered and will depend on day of the week and other bookings but a $100 surcharge will apply which goes towards our cleaning costs. A $500 security deposit is required on all bookings. We do not charge a cleaning fee but please note that if the BBQ and other cookware is not cleaned, a penalty may apply.

The best thing about this house is it's location. The beach seems to be used by locals only so even in peak season, it isn't busy. A short 5 minute drive will get you into the centre of town so you can access every amenity you may need. The house is no frills and very basic but was spacious enough for our fanily of 5 and you will find most of what you need for a happy stay by the beach.

This is a classic old beachhouse, as per the photos. An ideal place to sleep with the rhythm of the waves on the bayfront beach....with very little local traffic on a no through road. Our dogs loved it and we caught fish off the beach. 5 minutes to Woolies and 300 metres to an IGA. Overall good value.

It is an older house but spacious, well appointed and perfect location, our daughters and son in law live in Canberra, and we live in Lake Macquarie so it was a perfect pace to catch up, everything about the house was excellent and we would definitely stay there again

The house is a genuine 1960s beach house with a reno'd kitchen and bathroom. It has a few age-related quirks but it is in an ideal location, is clean and tidy and has unsurpassed beach access for young kids. This is the ideal summer house for a family with little kids who can safely play of the beach in view from the deck. Highly recommended.

Impossible not to feel relaxed in this beach house. Small town vibes, the sound of waves from your bed and a dog friendly beach within 5 minutes walk from the house. Lovely hosts, the house had everything you could need and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

This beautiful older style home had everything you could ever need to make it a comfortable, homely feel whilst away. The owner supplied more than enough for the weary traveller and our stay here was our favourite choice of accommodation.

This beach house was very nice and has an easily accessible beach right out back. The property manager was very helpful when we had to ask any questions and overall we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider coming back some time

Great spot. Property is old. Lots of maintenance and modernisation required. One of the stoves didn't work, sliding doors are rusting, no Wi-Fi. One very small, old TV with a VHS player and component inputs, all but the bathroom is very dated and cheap. Good enough for us and our trip.

A beautiful house right on the beach . Unfortunately due to rain we couldn’t stay out for too long .Seamless process from start to end and very owner Rosemary comminuted very well . Thank you Rosemary !

The host is lovely and helpful and the property has amazing views right on the beach. Unfortunately the beds are very old and hard. Maybe ok for others but had the worst sleeps in a long time. The property has everything you need in the kitchen to cook with which was fantastic. Views are great host is lovely just the property is a bit outdated now and beds are horrible. Apart from that we had a nice time.

We enjoyed the house and its close proximity to the beach. Our 1.5yr old had lots of fun with the toys provided and the highchair was very convenient. The listing did say limited toilet paper however we unfortunately went through what would have been less than half a roll in the first afternoon/evening and there was no more rolls to use. The location was perfect. We also had to bring our dogs at the last minute and thet also enjoyed their stay and fun on the beach.
