About this house rental
Newly constructed Clifftop home with captivating views on Northern Lake George! This custom built, contemporary three bedroom, two bath home, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, with exquisite craftsmanship and architecture, is the perfect blend of glass, stone and wood. Our shared waterfront can be reached via a 150' path where you can swim off the deepwater dock or relax on our large sundeck. A boat slip (max 20' boat) is available as well for our guests to use. There are 3 outdoor sitting areas; a large rear deck poised on a 40-foot bluff which can be accessed from the great room and master bedroom, a smaller deck can be reach from the second bedroom and a covered sitting area can be accessed from the lowest level of the home, where we have a new outdoor hot tub. Included are 4 kayaks for our guests to enjoy and a 20' boat slip at the oversized association dock for those who choose to bring their boat, or rent from one of the local marinas. 2 vehicles can be parked at the home. A 3rd vehicle may be accommodated if needed. There is a parking area for a boat trailer up the road on association property. Four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary in the snowy months, which is a beautiful time of year to visit. Two pairs of snowshoes are included with the home to take advantage of the 60+ acres of Association land and hiking.

Hard to put into words.It was exactly what we were hoping for.So quiet that you only heard nature,we didn’t hear one siren the whole stay.Views were breathtaking and water was so refreshing.

Beautiful Location on the Northeast corner of LG in a nice small waterfront cove. Very comfortable and accommodating home with well Equipped Kitchen and island style dining area. Backup generator just wonderful that rode out a very severe evening thunderstorm. Board games present for fun evenings. Lower level table and chairs perfectly situated for game fun or card playing. Plenty of comfortable deck and outdoor seating areas all around home. Boat dock-age available if you bring or rent a reasonable size 20 ft. boat. Don't forget anything that you will be carrying to the boat, dock, or sundeck area! (the path down is not long but rather steep and not well paved) I'm sure the hot tub is fabulous (It looked beautiful) but we had a very hot summer week so we did not utilize it. It was however well covered for inclement weather conditions.
Negatives; parking is OK for 2 vehicles with room for more offsite. Just a bit challenging to not interfere with neighbor’s property and watch the boulders across the driveway slightly over neighbors property line. (I scratched up my spoiler on them some). Loft access with ladder style stairs (could be a problem with children or elderly).
I made a fateful mistake of leaving the final garbage bag out the morning of departure and the cleaning service found a bag ripped by wildlife. There are provisions for garbage overflow at an additional garbage shed off premises. My bad!

What a fantastic spot to stay! Everything was accounted for and readily available. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped and the space was perfect for all 6.5 of us. Casey allows dogs which our little Sugar appreciated not being left at home. There are 4 kayaks to use, which the kids loved and dock to tie up to if you rent a boat. We also looked forward to chilling in the hot tub after a windy day of boating. The views of the lake are spectacular, there's even a sundeck down at the lake that is perfect for watching the sunsets or the stars at night. Casey was easy to communicate with so everything was easy breezy. Looking forward to coming back again!

We went for a long weekend in January, and while the temperature was below freezing - we couldn’t have been more cozy. The view from every room in the house was gorgeous, and the hot tub was a very welcomed treat. The short walk down the dock was lovely for morning coffee. The kitchen was filled with everything you’d need to make meals at home, and the house was nicely stocked with towels, blankets and linens. Overall, a great stay.

Modern home with incredible views
We enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely home perched on Lake George. The home is modern with great amenities - a fully equipped kitchen, the hot tub is a delight, and we spent so much time on the deck. Access to the house was easy with a lockbox and all communications with the owner were easy and smooth - he went above and beyond in agreeing to ship some coats we forgot in the closet. Highly recommend!

Great stay at the lake
Cool house with great views, the deck/living room/kitchen has a great flow for hanging out and windows are everywhere to show the amazing view. The sun deck is a great bonus, we spent a lot of time down there relaxing on the water. Check in and out was super simple, Casey is a great host. Location is pretty far north, but if you’re not interested in LG village or Bolton, then it’s a great location to unwind. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful, cozy, quiet getaway
We had a wonderful respite at the Cliff House. The house was spotless and exactly as pictured on the listing. We enjoyed the kayaks and hiked in Gull Bay Preserve. My teens boys found lots of areas to explore in this quiet off the beaten path neighborhood. The views were stunning. Casey was responsive with the few questions we had. You do need ensure you bring everything, as the closest store is 30 mins away, which is the type of solitude we were looking for. The only other suggestion would be to bring along some pots and pans, as the ones there can definitely use replacing. We would recommend the Cliff House for a getaway. Important to note the paths down to the water may be difficult for older generation or toddlers as it is quite steep with rocks, but there is a road that you can drive down to the water.

Beautiful winter getaway
The space and location was beautiful. Trust the owner when they say you need 4x drive in the winter. The reminders were useful. The only downside was the number of stink bugs. I'm not sure what could be done, but there were about 4 live bugs throughout our stay and 6 dead ones in the living room/sleep area, which almost impacted our stay.

Gorgeous views
The house was immaculate and as described. Communication was on point and the hot tub when it was snowing and about 12 degrees out was glorious. I had never been to Lake George before so just a heads up for others - this is literally the opposite end of Lake George the town (NE tip of the lake whereas the town people think of as Lake George is the SW tip). For us that was fine - we just had no idea. Would definitely recommend.

Great location
This house was wonderful. It had a fair amount of places to relax; the deck and the fire pit were great added outdoor space. The house’s design was fresh and comfortable and it was well furnished with everything we needed. The best part, however, was the location. The views from the porch are absolutely beautiful and it was great to stay right by the lake. We loved the little neighborhood the house was located in, as well. Really happy with this rental.

Great place!!
This was our first visit to lake George and the house and location were wonderful! What a beautiful little enclave. Everything was meticulous and well organized. The neighbors were lovely and friendly and most importantly, the views were fantastic!
The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work and we wished there had been a two person kayak, but these are minor issues.

Beautiful home and location. The lake setting was very peaceful.
We would definitely like to return as it was a beautiful area and a great time of year to visit. Casey was quick to respond to all emails and left very thorough directions for use of the home. The hot tub was a nice addition for relaxing at the end of a busy day. Thank you-we enjoyed our visit very much.

Family vacation
We had a wonderful time staying at the cliff house. We spent lots of quality family time on our boat that we were able to keep just a short walk from the house. The roof top boathouse and hot tub were perfect places to relax after long day of hiking or boating. Casey was a pleasure to deal with before our arrival and was very accessible during and after our stay. We personally love the north end of lake George for its quiet nature. We were able to drive down to the village for the hustle and bustle and also drive to Bolton landing via boat for lunch and dinner out. The adirondacks are a special place to our family and we are very happy to have chosen this house for our stay.

Enjoyable long weekend away from Lake George Village
We enjoyed our stay at The Cliff House. We used the owner's 4 kayaks one morning, cooked breakfast everyday and used the grill for dinner twice. There's Dockside Marina directly across the lake that's an easy 30 min drive to rent boats to cruise Lake George. If you are looking to spend a lot of time at Lake George Village or the Outlets, this might be too far north for you. But if you want a quiet area, sitting on the sundeck, do some water activity, hang out with friends, this is a great getaway. There's 1 TV downstairs which we didn't even turn on as we rather do outdoor things when on vacation.

Amazing views and beauty
Wonderful property, we are adventurous so we didn’t mind the very long and curvy drive in (so beautiful lots of cute wildlife to be seen) the house is amazing and any issues were dealt with promptly by the owner. The only downfall was the inability to make calls from our cell phones (T-mobile, Verizon or Sprint) from the House. The WiFi was spotty and I was not able to do any work on my computer from the house. I needed the ability to unplug and this in reality was exactly what I needed. Bring food because there are no resteraunts within a 20 min drive and the closest supermarket is a super Walmart about 30min away.
