Excellent hotel, easy to go to the city by public transportation. Beach just few steps from hotel. Beautiful Miramare castle also easy reachable.

Gym and sauna excellent, staff helpful and pleasant.
At the very least: no kettle, tea or coffee in the rooms, and little in the way of the same to be had nearby.

As reserved 3 rooms for a night to sleepover before continue our trip, we were expecting hot water and warm room to enjoy our long day. Unfortunately no hot water at all in any of the 3 rooms, heating also not working, as we needed. The fact to need to take shower at night and next morning also in cold water and not be told about this, is something unacceptable. In the morning when complained, we were told they have difficulties and they apologies. We have been given a box of Prosecco, seemly already prepared for frustrated customers. Cheap compensation while we already got a cold.
Strange also than an old, loyal customer who came to pay and check out, did not say a word about no hot water, so I think it was only our floor... or building. Very sad experience in a good hotel and place, but this is unacceptable.

The spa facilities are spacious and well run. Turkish and Finnish sauna, rest area, a pool you can swim in.
Cleanliness is top notch. It's a lovely building, well kept. Parking is great, too. Breakfast is self service and reasonably well stocked with cold options and a toast maker.
Would recommend.
It was a bit cold in the room and we didn't seem to be able to get it warmer with the termostat.
The large double bed was actually two singles and they were sliding apart.

A nice comfortable room with a good working AC. Great breakfast on a terrace overlooking the sea. I only stayed one night while at the conference, but had a very good experience. I would come back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was nice... however, a little more variety would be appreciated. The rooms were well designed and made. Unfortunately though, the beds were too soft and as a result I had some back pain.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The room was huge and very comfortable with everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic and eaten on a terrace with a gorgeous view. Slightly outside of Trieste, very close to great swimming spot. Would definitely recommend.

Good location near to Barcola strand. Good breakfast with beautiful view on Trieste bay. Sauna, gym and pool in price. Polite staff.
Could be noisy for somebody. Not sure how sound isolation works for rooms heading main road. Hotel is close to main road. We had windows to backyard so not the issue. Not sure if it is really 5 star hotel, rather 4 and 1/2.

A good location on the main road, excellent view from the rooftop breakfast zone, very nice pool and sauna, great breakfast, and the free parking is a great plus! The service was also excellent! We got a free upgrade to a superior double room located on the 3rd floor and overlooking the sea – which is great.
It is an older facility, the room was rather small and not very well designed, especially the bathroom! The sink drain almost did not work, and the water splash on the bathroom floor from the shower is annoying. I think, 5-star categorization is a joke.

We arrived at 3 AM in the morning and we were totally exhausted. The receptionist was very kind and because of our circumstances gave a note to the day time receptionist. The day time receptionist was very kind and allowed for a late check-out in our circumstance. Everybody there was very kind and hospital. The room was comfortable with excellent bathroom. Incredible location.

Definitely not worth of the price they charge.Maybe good enough for a 3 star hotel
The room is poor, doesn’t even have a coffee machine , the bed is old with a very outdated mattress. And the smell in the room was stale and there was a sense of dampness.
The worst hotel experience ever. And definitely doesn’t deserves 5stars😫
Nothing, we have chosen the ocean view room, but could not sleep over the noise from the street 😕

Beautiful property in a nice location.
The bathroom sink drained excessively slow, while the shower didn’t seem to drain at all. When entering the shower, it was not initially clear that it was required to pull out on a knob when turning on the shower, as the hand wand is the default(which sprays across the stall and out the door).
