Leider total überteuertes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels ist direkt am Strand

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von diesem Hotel. Eigentlich dachte ich, dass es eine gute Idee ist nicht in eine große Hotelanlage zu gehen, wurde allerdings leider eines besseren belehrt. Ich hatte telefonisch ein Zimmeruprade gebucht und mir dies per Email bestätigen lassen. Mir wurde schriftlich zugesichert, dass die beiden gebuchten Zimmer sich im obersten Stockwerk befinden. Als wir ankamen gab es nur noch ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Grundsätzlich kann sowas ja mal passieren, allerdings nicht wie mit der Thematik umgegangen worden ist. Ich habe gesagt, dass ich dann lediglich die Mehrkosten für das eine Zimmer bezahle. Matty antwortete, dass ich dann ein Zimmer im ersten Stock nehmen kann, wenn ich nicht bereit bin beide Zimmer zu bezahlen. Das finde ich schon sehr frech. Sooo beide Zimmer bezahlt, war die Terrassentür defekt. Wurde kurz repariert und zwei Tage später nochmal dasselbe Thema. Ich habe 3600€ bezahlt für 6 Nächte und Frühstück, die höchsten Zimmerkategorien im oberstem Stockwerk. Ein Zimmer falsch gebucht, ein Zimmer Zimmer defekt, nicht einmal ein Willkommensgetränk angeboten bekommen. Das Hotel ist uralt. Lediglich die Zimmer wurden etwas modernisiert. Das Allerbeste ist, dass wir ganze 17 Grad in den Zimmern haben. Es wurde uns angeboten Heizlüfter in die Zimmer zu stellen, welche dann doch nicht verfügbar waren. Das Problem sei, dass man entweder Heizen oder Kühlen kann im gesamten Hotel. Das bedeutet, dass man die Zimmer nicht einzeln regeln kann. Bei 17 Grad Tagestemperatur würde ich empfehlen die Klimaanlage auf Heizen zu stellen bevor jeder Gast nach dem wunderbaren Aufenthalt krank zuhause ankommt. Das Frühstückbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und ansonsten waren alle Mitarbeiter auch sehr freundlich. Trotzdem wird das mit Sicherheit unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein. Ich rate absolut von diesem überteuerten, alten Hotel ab. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass der Manager auf uns zugekommen ist nachdem er die Bewertung bei Google gelesen hat.

Do not recommend it to anyone, these people are simply not helpful in case of emergency.

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay 1 day at the hotel. We could not get the chance to enjoy a breakfast. We had to leave due to an emergency within a couple of hours of checking in. Staff initially seemed to have understand our emergency situation but later on we figured they are only there to get your money. Do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Simply go with any other place than this one.

Only after a couple of hours of staying at the facility, we had to fly back to the Netherlands due to sudden passing away of our pet cat. On the day of leaving we were promised that we could get our refund however after 1 month+ I got the information that they could not refund us at all because their policy is very strict. As a "gesture of good" they offered us a "good discount option" of 15% discount. Do NOT stay at this hotel. If these people are not sensible enough for such a topic, I do not think this industry is right for them. Stay away from this hotel.

Great hotel for adults

Nice hotel location right to the beach and promenade, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Comfortable beds and overall very quiet at night. Everything was clean and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay here

Needs some TLC

Very close to the airport. 5 mins by taxi or 15 mins by bus. Great location for a couple night trip away. Allowed early check in which helped us because we had a early flight. Straight onto the promenade with lots of restaurants and shops.

Breakfast was poor quality. Not a lot of choice! The shower leaked quite badly so made the whole bathroom flooded. Not the best for accessibility because there are only two small lifts in the hotel.

Would only recommend partially - there are better places in the area.

Good location and spacious rooms

Friendly but very slow service eg when asking for coffee in the morning. Super small spa with unfriendly staff (which you have to book). No free water in the room. No kettle either. After the room service came to clean, the room was smelly.

It didn't work to book a day in advance, and we stayed on the street, you have to be responsive

The hotel has met our expectations for the second time.

It was our second time in Pure Salt Garonda. The hotel has met our expectations again. We enjoyed the sea view from the top floor, peace and quiet of our clean and spacious room, friendly and efficient staff (our personal thanks to Tony, Sabina, Miquel and Xavi), delicious food and that wonderful relaxed atmosphere of an exquisite hotel. We’ll definitely recommend it to someone who appreciates comfort and class.

When we first stayed in Pure Salt Garonda three years ago, there was à la carte dinner menu in the hotel’s restaurant. It was top notch! This time there was only one main course à la carte, the rest of the dinner was buffet. In our opinion the complete à la carte menu was still better. Even though the choice in the buffet was impressive and the food was delicious, the á la carte was better balanced and more elegant.

Superb

Friendly staff, amazing view from the balcony, like the huge balcony itself. Great in-house restaurant special thanks to the manager Florencia. Great spanish restaurant. Amasing roof bar garonda sky. Pretty quiet place on the beach.

Soundproofing between rooms csn be better, shower sealant needs to be replaced and the ubiquitous ants.

Exceptional

Firstly, the staff all of them, were friendly, accommodating and utterly professional. They all spoke very good English which made our stay much more enjoyable. Secondly the venue itself, especially the rooftop bar area is outstanding and very clean. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. The indoor spa and facilities were also excellent.

I'm being very critical when I say this but as a regular gym user the gym options/facilities was average. More geared toward cardio than weights.
