Für eine Nacht ganz in Ordnung

Die Nähe zum Hafen - für eine Nacht soweit ok

Alles etwas altmodisch und trotz Modernisierungsversuche heruntergekommen, aber für eine Übernachtung ausreichend. Frühstück könnte besser organisiert werden.

Simpel, goedkoop en goed, perfecte locatie.

Doordat mijn vlucht vertraging had arriveerde ik na middernacht in het hotel, vooraf heb ik gebeld met het hotel om mijn aankomsttijd te melden, werd perfect geholpen en bij aankomt kreeg ik van het super aardige personeel nog iets te drinken. Kamer was simpel maar goed.

Would have been fine if not for terrible smell in room.

Comfy bed nice staff

Bathroom stank of faeces and the whole room had a horrible chemical smell. Whole hotel looked a bit rundown and dingy.

Clean bathroom, free breakfast

Stain on linen, uncomfortable chair, cheap desk and chair, couldn’t get TV channels apart from BBC

Perfect getaway fitting all your requirements

Breakfast was lovely The location of hotel was perfect. We we right by Gunwharf mall, right by the Warrior warship, stunning views. We walked a few steps and were by fabulous pub. You could walk to the Fish place on the docks and to the pebble beach... ideally located

Très bien !

L'emplacement, juste en face de la gare routière, de gunwalf, et la possibilité de tout faire à pied. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant... le petit déjeuner est copieux, très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Ça grince un peu dans tous les coins, mais cela fait partie du charme de l'hôtel.

Overall this is a great hotel to stay at with lots of character

The location is excellent. It is close to the railway station, Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Keys. Regarding the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. I must admit the reception looked a bit like the set of Fawlty Towers, but that just added to the charm of the hotel. My single room was well equipped although rather small. The breakfast was also good value with friendly staff.

Great place to stay.

The sushi menu, decor, staff, breakfast - very quick to arrive. I found the stairs difficult being disabled there are stairs and some without handrails or only on one side. Otherwise a near perfect score, well done and great value for money as well too.

I would stay again for the location but I feel it’s expensive for the standard

Fantastic location reason we would stay again less than 1 minute walk to shops, free parking, comfortable beds

Cheap breakfast ingredients or maybe just not to our taste, bedroom had not been dusted for a long time but clean bedding & bathroom

The historical aspect on the historical dockyard and a perfect location

Nothing. The street aspects in any ‘dock land’ area are usually a bit grubby but the hotel was lovely

Room 16 is not fit for purpose. Bathroom very good but bedroom very poor view and should only be a single not a double.

The money I spent on getting myself and my clothing bed bug free. The staff so unacceptable by hiding the fact that they found a bed bug in my room. Laughing thinking it was funny. To bad it could be a great place

Clean, tidy and good staff both front of house and very much in the dining area. Always had a smile and extremely pleasant & professional. Another good stay.

Asked questions and always had an answer. Very professional in all aspects. Plus may I say worked hard and were very attentive.

inadequate facilities, not worth the money

We liked the location.

The air conditioning in the room didn't work, also there were no sockets working in the room so we couldn't charge phones and couldn't have a cup of tea in the morning. for the money we have paid this is simply not acceptable.

Accommodations very nice, staff helpful and attentive. Would stay again.

Food and service very good. Location excellent for connecting to other transportation, bus, trains, ferries all within walking distance. Nice mall within walking distance as well. This is a great stopover place.

Excellent hotel in perfect location for historic dockyard and waterfront shopping.

Perfectly located between the historic dockyard and waterfront shops and restaurants. Both within 5 minutes walk.

A bit noisy in street over Saturday night due to taxi rank being outside but this was unavoidable given the location.

Birthday celebration

Hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were brilliant, food was lovely. They even put a small candle in my Mum's dessert on her Birthday.

Shower floor was extremely slippery, could have done with mugs for coffee reather than cups and saucers.

The decor was a bit tired and our room didn't get any house keeping service after first night had to ask at reception for more tea and coffee and water bed hadn't been made and tidied.

The Hotel is very central for us and it's walking distance to and from the historical sites. Very happy with our short stay and will stay there again.

Great location, great breakfast and staff. However, wifi is not reliable.

Loved the location, staff were very helpful and breakfast was really lovely.

Wifi is a major problem! Staff tried to accommodate us by changing our room but the problem still persisted, so if you depend on wifi to do any business, I suggest going elsewhere.

Pleasant, Comfortable, Relaxing &Friendly.

All of the staff were very polite and friendly from the check in to the bar staff and the breakfast staff including the house keeping staff. The hotel is kept very clean and tidy. It has some beautiful period features. I had a single room with an ensuite bathroom which was very well decorated and enjoyed a nice large shower. The breakfast was good value for money, freshly cooked and served with a good choice of toast, cakes, cereals, drinks etc. I liked the free parking which is very hard to find these days. The hotel is ideally situated for the Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays the railway station and some lovely local eateries / pubs.

I think you would have to be a pretty mean person not to enjoy staying at this hotel.

Very friendly staff in a very traditional clean and comfortable establishment located in a prime location for visits to the historical tourist sites.

Fine

Location was good. Bedroom was fine. Bathroom shower had virtually no power. The car park was my biggest peeve, if you have an SUV or an estate good luck parking in there, and even if there is a space you’ll have multiple cars covering two spaces. Main reason we booked that one was due to free parking but ending up paying £15 to pay behind the hotel in a car park. Probs a 5 out of 10. The night patron is nice
