Lovely breakfast with lots of local produce and home made pastries, jams marmalades. Pool was lovely. Excellent bar and very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. Couldn't fault it. All in all, exceptional stay and exceptional value.

An excellent hotel close to Chania town and 20 metres from the beach of Agia Marina. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast superb filled with traditional goods from the island of Crete. The garden and the pool of the hotel are offering a trully relaxing experience - ideal to escape and release your stress from everydays life. Last but not least, the hosts Angeliki and Achilleas are very kind, always there to help you and are the true meaning of the Cretan philoxenia. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Chania in the future!

Perfect location just across the street to the beach. Very good breakfast at the garden by the beautiful pool. the hosts Angeliki and Achilles are so nice and helpful. We had a perfect vacation in beautiful Crete. Hope to come back one day.

Everything was very clean, fresh towels every time we needed ones, quiet. We also loved the products from the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion) they smelled incredible, they are from the oldest olive oil enterprise from Greece.
The biggest blessing was the breakfast which was fresh every single day and it was all traditional greek food. I loved the eggs, yogurt, orange juice, fresh fruits, fresh jams and the goat and sheep cheese was amazing.
Angeliki and Achilleas were very kind, welcoming and they helped us with travel advice and made our stay better. I totally recommend this family business!

We were really impressed by hospitality of Cretans and Angelika from Tree of Life Hotel is the best example of that! With delicious breakfast and great location right near to the beach the Tree of Life Hotel was a sweet spot for exploration of this part of the island. We were final guests of the season and the hosts and Mitzos the Cat really made us feel special during our stay!

The place, the hosts, and the location are wonderful. I wish I will come back sometime later in the future to this place. This place is extremely clean. The hosts are very helpful. They can serve as trip advisors and it's good to listen to their recommendations.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms were cleaned daily. Bed was very comfortable. There is a nice park place in case you rent a car and if you don't there is a bus stop close to the hotel. Beautiful beach is just across the road. There are markets and very good restaurants nearby. Long story short, there is something for everyone. We can't thank you enough for this experience. I hope we meet again.

Everything was great. We felt like home, with Angeliki and Achiles, our hosts. Great location, close to the beach, clean beautiful rooms, everyday our towels were changed and the room cleaned. The swimming pool and the bar were a great retreat from the hot day. Fresh mint and basil bushes nearby were a great note. A big warm cheer to Achiles, Angeliki, Nikos and Mytzos. We hope to see you again very soon.

This place is amazing! I love the food, fresh, tasty and delicious. I love the hosts, always smiling, ready to help and making sure we have everything we need. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice. And so much attention to details, making it a great and colourful summer staying!

From the moment of booking our stay the customer service by the owners has been fantastic.
The hotel is family owned and managed by husband and wife Angeliki and Achilles. Nothing was too much trouble, from providing beach towels to booking our taxi to and from Chania airport. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and spotlessly cleaned every day.,it has everything you needed and more.
The daily breakfasts on the terrace by the pool we’re informal and relaxed. Everything provided was fresh, local and absolutely wonderful.,in the end we were sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer than our 4 nights. As with all the other guests we were made so welcome. We came as guests but left as friends. We would highly recommend this small hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

clean rooms, happy and helpful staff, great location close to the beach. What more can you hope? It was nice to have a hotel manager whom you can really count on. This small family owned hotel is all you need for lovely and peaceful holiday. Plus we would give our kidneys for that homemade peach marmelade at breakfast buffet. Worth every penny!
we didnt really spend time at the pool area, except for breakfast. Hotel is very small, but the rooms on the other hand are quite spacious. It is not a five star luxury hotel, but you dont even notice those things you could miss.

The breakfast was amazing, there was such a big selection that it was hard to try everything. It really was the perfect start to the day! You will also get amazing tips to find secluded beaches and other attractions, restaurants, whatever you need. The hospitality was unbelievable, this is definitely a place we want to come back to! Angeliki & Achilles are the best hosts!

Breakfast directly at the pool was really nice with a lot of different and great tasting foods, including many greek specialities, Angeliki as host prepares eggs fresh every day according to our taste. The staff was also helpful and friendly at anytime. We also had a fridge in our room to cool down the beers for drinking on the balcony in the evening.
Our room was in the first floor next to the street and due to the noise of the street we were not able to open the window during the night, in this case we used the good working air conditioner. Furthermore we unfortunately had no warm water in the shower at the morning, but honestly for me this was good due to the temperatures outside.

Angeliki met me and my wife when we arrived at the hotel from the airport and she immediately showed us around and answered any questions we had. Upon arrival, the room was perfectly clean (and stayed nice and clean throughout our stay, thanks to wonderful service) with a comfortable bed and nice facilities. We had a balcony on the 1st floor overlooking the pool, which was a nice place to sit and relax after long days of swimming and visiting local beaches. I looked forward to the breakfast every morning. There were fresh pastries/cakes, yoghurt, coffee/tea, fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit, and eggs made upon request, which were delicious. Another highlight was the homemade jams (the apple cinnamon was my favorite).
Crete was such a beautiful place to visit; the food, landscape, beaches, and people were all incredible. But what put this trip on another level was staying with Angeliki. She was such a friendly and welcoming host. Whenever my wife and I had questions about anything (restaurant recommendations, beaches, local artists and cafes), Angeliki had an amazing answer or recommendation. Her tips on which beaches to visit and at what time were a lifesaver when we avoided all of the crowds. We also had some lovely chats with Angeliki and her family throughout our stay. We stayed 9 days but that already felt too short by the end.
My wife and I will definitely be staying here when we return to Crete! Sending greetings from me and Heike in Vienna!

We had a lovely stay in the Tree of Life Art hotel. Great location, rooms impeccably clean and the kindest owners always serving the best recommendations about the most beautiful beaches or where to find the delicious local food. We couldn't even follow them all, as our stay was definetly too short, so surely we will be back to Crete.

We really recommend this place. Angeliki and her husband are very helpful and friendly. This is not big hotel so you can feel very comfotable and talk to friendly guests.

- Location is great, 2 min from the beach and easy access to any facilities you need (shops pharmacy spas restaurants and also chania town) ps: for chania town you need to take bus but there's a bus stop at the corner.
- lovely artistic atmosphere and the places are superclean
- there are cats around the area which gives a lovely family vibe
- the couple who runs the Hotel have made the experience UNFORGETTABLE. I have been to 18 countries and 6 solo trips. I have had the best treatment and support ever. - definitely coming back someday.
I have no downsides to say. It was an amazing stay.
Maybe one thing: I would love to try a vegan Greek yogurt someday. But I didn't find it anywhere in Greece anyway so it is okay. :)

Tree of Life Art Hotel is a great place — both rationally and emotionally. Rationally, it is located not far from Chania, just meters away from a beautiful beach and minutes away from several breathtaking restaurants. Emotionally, it is a place filled with genuine attention and care, expressed by Angeliki, the charming owner of the hotel, and other members of the staff. Staying here felt like being a part of a big family, and lay a foundation for an unforgettable journey to Crete.

Everything about the Hotel and the hosts was exceptional. Angeliki and Achilles were super friendly, they made you feel welcome and were always ready to help in any way they could. Everything they suggested to see or eat was fantastic.
The breakfast was also super delicious with a wide variety of homemade dishes + everybody gets fresh orange juice and yogurt. 😁
The location is situated 10 min away from Chania with its own parking space behind the building.
The rooms were spacious with comfy beds and a nice view from the balcony.
If you choose to visit Crete, don't hesitate to come to this hotel. You won't regret it😁

The hotel is a family business and not very big which offers you close service and the peace you need. Angeliki and her husband Achilleas are very nice and friendly people who help you to have the best vacation you have ever had. You can ask them almost everything and they will enjoy to help you with every little question. The hotel is quite modern and close to Chania. We rented a car to visit Chania and other places but the taxis are not expensive too
