Excellent location. Large rooms

The suites are an excellent size and contain all the things you need for a self sufficient few days in Clare. The supplied wine and chocolates and breakfast items were fabulous. Property was meticulously clean

The property is a little dated now. New carpets and a paint freshen up would help a lot.

Luxury for couples at a reasonable price

The Taylor Suite is 1 of 4 suites. It is well equipped. There is a reverse cycle heater in the lounge as well as an open fire. The kitchen was compact but included a fridge, hotplate and coffee machine (a good quality non-stick frypan was provided). Breakfast makings were provided including bread, eggs, bacon, cereal, orange juice, a large container of milk (to use with the coffee machine)! The bathroom was spacious with plenty of room to put your toiletries. It included a spa bath, shower and heated towel rails. There is a separate room with space for your suitcase and to hang clothes. There was a Chesterfield lounge and an antique table and chairs in the lounge area. There were heavy drapes on the windows. There was a private area out the back with table, chairs and webber bbq. The WIFI worked well and was free. There is car parking on the property close to the suite. The suites are on the side of a hill with a spacious garden below which includes a rotunda and chairs and a separate outdoor swimming pool which also has a larger sized bbq. At the bottom of the garden there is access to the walking trail known as the "Riesling Trail". Approx 200 metres away is a terrific Bakery - the vanilla slice was excellent.

Generous breakfast and the complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Bed and facilities very good

Door to bathroom was difficult to open and close and, being glass, meant the bedroom became light early

Disappointing

Location, view, warmth from staff, little touches like food, chocolate and wine. Having facial wipes and alcohol pads provided were awesome.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and represented a cheap hotel or motel, and it offset all the other comforts

Brilliant... a real hidden gem!

Everything!!! This was a wonderfully luxurious gem of accommodation. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens this accommodation offered everything.. even to a free bottle of wine and chocolates. Very spacious with separate lounge/dining, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom complete with shower and separate double spa. Open fireplace which was cosy due to the cold nights as well as reverse cycle airconditioning. Outside was a large private patio area. Breakfast was supplied and consisted of cereals, yoghurt, orange juice, toast with jams and eggs and bacon. Loved this accommodation and will stay again when we are next in Clare.

Only tiny complaint was that the convection microwave was awkwardly placed (down low) and was difficult to use.

Simply beautiful accommodation that can’t be faulted.

The breakfast provisions were incredibly generous and exceeded our expectations. The entire complex was immaculate including the pool area and the beautiful grounds. The caretaker Andrew does a wonderful job and was very helpful with any questions we had about the area.

The place is perfect just the way it is.

Sprawling, spacious B&B in the lovely Clare Valley!!

A stunning, sprawling property housing 4 B&B units - beautiful gardens, swimming pool, and access to the Reisling Trail. Lovely breakfast was supplied (although we didn't have enough coffee pods - no big deal). Loved the massive bathroom - plenty of room in the living/dining area, smallish kitchen but functional. Although lovely, the units are a bit old and tired and in need of renovation although we believe the new owners intend on doing just that. Great location - would highly recommend.

most of it, other than the bed & the pool was a bit colder than expected

The beds were very hard & when we stayed there last time they were king beds so a bit disappointed they were large double beds this time.

Exceptional

The lodge was so beautiful and private, with beautiful scenic views and gardens. The pool was also such an extra bonus on the hot day we were there. As there were only 6 people you never ran into anyone you felt like you had the whole place to yourself. The bike hire was so easy and so much fun. Using the resiling trail, seeing the sites and stopping in at the cellar doors on the way was perfect. We had the best time at Brice Hill Lodge! We will definitely be back. Thanks to the owners for making the stay incredibly easy, stress free and welcoming.

This is a superb B and B. Everything about it was perfect. There was plenty of space, all of the facilities were high quality, there is a huge bathroom and sitting room, wonderful views into a beautiful garden, and a private back courtyard.

Beautiful room in scenic surroundings central to the Clare Valley experience.

Spacious and good quality furnishings. Lovely building and view - immaculate gardens. Quiet and yet handy for the scenic route and the centre of town - right on the Riesling Trail. Flexible and helpful hosts - very responsive. Breakfast provisions etc were excellent and locally sourced. Highly recommended.

Lovely getaway.

Location, communication, bath, 90's Dvd's and very generous breakfast supplies.

Unable to use woodfire place and was not notified prior to stay.

Apart from the fire issue, relaxing and comfortable.

Adequate supplied for continental breakfast.

We stayed in the Sevenhills suite. Unfortunately we had a problem with the fire. Following the instructions of one log was the best, the logs created a lot of smoke and consequently we had a couple of hours of the smoke alarm being set off. So much so that it attracted Chris, the gardener who called the maintenance man. Neither could solve the issue and we hat to let the fire go out to stop the alarm from keeping being activated. Shame really as it was one of the things I was looking for in accomodation.
