Breakfast was amazing. They had made to order omelettes, a small buffet, water, tea and coffee.
Nothing, checked all the boxes for me.

All the shelves in the bathroom were broken and you couldn't put your soap or shampoo anywhere

The Staff is awesome and they always help you with everything. Ali is the coolest guy behind the bar and with his friends you can really have a good time. We also went out with them and had a really good rave ;)

Very helpful staff, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, good wifi, good value for its price
Our room was on the fifth floor, small and quite cold with no elevator, we traveled for work so the area was too noisy to have a good sleep

The location is in the city center
There was no ladder frame to climb to the upper bed
The landlady told me to step on the flat chair and climb up.
If the chair falls over, a person will be injured
and the room was so dirty and the atmosphere was gloomy.
The landlady offered me to another room but it was the same.
(This is only my opinion. Therefore, another person may feel differently).
However, I did not stay in this hostel
I abandon the hostel fee and I went to another hotel

Good position, good breakfast and very nice staff
the whole structure is very dirty and old. our room and bathroom was very dirty, mold in the shower and in the bathroom, very dirty bathroom, broken wardrobe, broken flooring, broken walls, non -compliance electrical system, a lot of noise all night long because of a lot of customers entering and exing and loudly speaking all over the night.

Location? If you are looking for alcohol trip all night long and wish to only sleep there during the day - then yes. You can also find some food anytime, 24/7. This is Taksim.
Staff was trying yo help. Cleaning lady however does her job in a very, very, very basic fashion. You can do under the table and bed areas by yourself, after exploring the city, right?
I put three out of ten for the crew. The hosts were always trying to help, but they were limited by what they had available.
To save you the reading time - in our opinion no one should ever stay here. The only advantage might be location, the price is very high for the walls and the ceiling (very basic comfort) you get. Unless you are looking for a prisoner vibe, want a night club right next to your pillow when you sleep or wish to get to know new insect species of course.
Our first room on one of the first floors, based on the thickness of the dust under the bed, was last cleaned during the reign of Sultan Suleyman. The bunk bed was as old as well as the mattress. However, the street sounds (surprisingly!) did not bother us much and we could at least sleep. We were confused at first, because poor soundproofing was mentioned in numerous reviews.
The light there was so dim that you could hardly tell what’s inside your suitcase when you open it. The mirror was cracked and fixed with a piece of a duct tape. We immediately noticed that the room we were given is different from what we booked. In desperate hope to make our stay more pleasant, we asked to move somewhere and in two days were given one of the last floor rooms.
If you read the reviews, you noticed they are somewhat controversial. Here is why. First floors are original building, while two last ones were built on top afterwards. You can tell by the number of things, most noticeable being different ceiling height.
Fresher look of the top floors confused even warmed you up you at first (at least in comparison to dungeon look of the first room we were given).
But before let’s sort out the advantages first - the room was bigger and looked cleaner, the mirror was intact, mattress more comfy, there was even light bulb on the ceiling - why not do this pricey upgrade to the first room we were staying at? This is only one of the mysteries of this place.

Location was amazing, staff was incredible, kind, lovely and ready to help you. They allowed me to do early check-in which I really appreciated.
Hostel was colorful and really chill vibes
Maybe more cleaning in the room I slept (floor was kind of dirty)
The windows were really bad for sound isolation, we could hear music around all night long

Staff were helpful breakfast was good and location was near Taksim squar but it was located in dirty side streets!
I was shocked by the dirty area that was the hostel located! It was not like the photos i saw.The room was dirty and no light!! Iasked to put new lamp the worker couldnt do it so we waited untill midnight when the shift was changed. And when it was on it was very dim i couldnt see my staff well! No house keeping despite it was a private room after six days I asked them why you dont clean they said its a hostel we dont do that except after 5 days( it was my sixth day) and yet they didnt do it but after day.Really it was very bad experience as I spent a huge money for nothing. Also no elevator and the stairs were horrible and the light keep going on and off crazy!!
I dont advice any one to book with them as it was very very horrible

The breakfast is fantastic and sets you up for the day! Excellent family run hostel with great community vibes. The location is absolutely amazing (right in the middle of Taksim) but of course with this comes a lot of urban noise, so be prepared for a city that really never sleeps and neither will you!
Honestly it was a great experience and when you take into account the very reasonable pricing it is difficult to write anything negative about it.

the location is just perfect, right behind the Taksim. You just need to walk 2 minutes to appear on Istiklal street (the famous one with red Tram). The price was also very good, friendly staff and also a small lounge in the reception was a great place to meet others and chill.
what I didn't like was that it had 5 floors, we had a room on the fifth and there was no elevator and the floors were extremely high. But it had a balcony and if u can live without it, u better choose the first or the second floor :D

Located in a very colourful part of the city, the hostel has a small, fenced terrace at the street entrance, through which you pass to the bar area. This is also the reception where you check in. The terrace allows you to have breakfast in the open air, or chill with a beer in the evening, while watching Istanbul life at close quarters. For me, it was easily the most attractive part, and forms a place to socialise with the other guests. The staff are friendly, cooperative and have good English. The rooms are both dormitory type and private. They are clean and well organised. Toilets are shared, but well-maintained. The dorms have a locked area to store backpacks and personal items. All rooms have air-conditioning. Living overnight anywhere in a "city that never sleeps" risks sharing a neighbourhood with noisy nightclubs nearby, but I wasn't disturbed at all by loud music late at night. For the traveller, it is an excellent choice, with a laundry next door, well-priced local "bufet" type restaurant across the road, a bank card cash outlet and a juice bar less than a minute away. Breakfasts are bufet-style, with tea and coffee. The bar is well-stocked, and optional music by request.
The hostel is located in a historic part of Istanbul, where all the properties have "traditional" dimensions, and can feel a bit cramped, compared with more modern, purpose-built hotels, but they have done a good job with what they have.

Breakfast was rich and filling. Location is exactly in the heart of Taksim- easy to reach at any time of the night. Staff was very friendly! There is a bar at the hostel.
Room was at last level but not elevator. There were dirty towels in the closet. The AC was turned on for hours before we came (waste of energy). The roof is making sounds all the time.
