The property met my expectations, with the exception of the handicapped accessibility.

The description said "wheelchair accessible". However, the water closet did not meet ADA requirements, and the only grab bars were in the bathtub.

Room was quiet and good size. Staff was exceptional...always attentive, personable, and quick to help.

Carpet and chair needed to be cleaned better. Breakfast was ok.

Superb

Very complete breakfast. Hot tub was hot!(that’s good). Quite pleased, especially for the price. Will certainly stay there again if we’re in the area

Location was good, easy check-in

not very clean! Slept with my clothes on on top of the covers. Someone had to work at making the coffee that bad. I’m not even sure that it should be consumed.

I Won’t be using a Wingate hotel again.

Insane pet fee of $75US!! It was more than half the price of our hotel stay! Our go to hotel is usually a La Quinta which has a reasonable rate of $25. Pre-pandemic we never paid pet fees. Seeing as how it’s a sister hotel owned by Wyndham I expected more. On top of that left over food was in the fridge from the previous guests, and the shower was filthy. I wonder what else wasn’t cleaned properly.

Decent, but too pricey

Great location, convenient to restaurants and interstate. Staff was very courteous. Lobby area was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Breakfast was not good. Flimsy bacon, stale English muffin, no pancakes or waffles. Hampton Inns have waffle makers. I expected one at the Wingate. Also, my fitted sheet had bad elastic and came off one corner in the night. Upon waking up in the morning, I saw a whole lot of hair on the mattress cover…Not my hair. Clearly, the mattress cover had not been cleaned in a while. Also, two of the four pillows had stained pillowcases. The lounge chair in the room was also stained. Overall, the hotel seemed a bit shabby. Time for new paint, carpet, bathroom fixtures, etc. For the price, I expected better.

Clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good, pool was clean.

Pool bathroom needed some minor cleaning.

The staff members were polite and willing to accommodate our need for an earlier check -in time.

We had a little trouble figuring out the room thermostat, which had been set to cold air, so the room was pretty cold at first. Once we figured out that the one wall thermostat controled all three rooms, the room heated up quickly.

Overpriced for quality

staff was friendly. Close to Louisville slugger sports complex.

pillows were not comfortable. Showers need updates, Pour water pressure. definitely overpriced for what you get

Bedbugs overrule anything good.

the staff was great. location good 2 players left belongings and we were able to retrieve them very easily. helpful staff

was here with a team and a few of the players got eaten up by BEDBUGS!

Was clean enough, the staff was good and the location was perfect.

The bedding smelled like chlorine and the shower head was clogged with calcium.

This was the perfect location to food, stores and to the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex.

Breakfast was nice, waffle bar, toaster, eggs and meat every day. Good coffee too.

The water pressure wasn’t the best, but most hotels conserve so it wasn’t unexpected.

Bad sewage smell in room

The indoor heated pool and jacuzzi was nice.

There was only one staff person manning the hotel lobby at one time. We needed extra towels but we could not reach anyone by phone. We had to go to lobby to ask for bed linen for pullout sofa bed. There was also a nasty sewage smell in our room.

Breakfast was good.

Was awaken at 5:15 am. The alarm was apparently set by a previous guest to go off at 5:15. Went off two additional times until I finally figured out how to turn it off. Messed up our sleeping time.
