Superbe et reposant

Le cadre idyllique, le calme, la discrétion du personnel ainsi que sa gentillesse. Piscine et spa superbe. Et une végétation luxuriante.

Place with a great potential but bad maintained.

Kind staff

The facilities are old and don’t work well (the shower in the room was really poor), the structure needs to be renovated as soon as possible. The bar by the pool was closed. The constructions in the surrounding wakes you up early morning.

Loved every minute, it’s a great hotel.

The staff, the room & pool were amazing. Once you walk through the doors to the property the place is awesome.

The main road driving up to the hotel is not paved, from the outside it looks a little scary. Once you enter the property however it turns into a little slice of paradise.

A great place to come relax, its too bad they let the place be so run down.

Its a very beautiful resort however it has so much more potential then what is here.

There was no food, drinks on site. The place was not as clean and maintained as last time I was here.

Exceptional

This property exceeded our expectations. Very welcoming staff and the rooms were exceptionally large and well kitted out with good kitchen The pool and spa are outstanding. The main pool is huge but each apartment has its own private area if you want privacy in the water. This place is better than Cancun apartments and is an oasis in Tulum. Highly recommend

The rooms are a little bright at night and could use block out blinds in the bedroom and bathroom.

Beautiful place, lovely stay... I hope they pay attention to potential hazards like ours.

The rooms are fantastic, the pool is beautiful. The staff were wonderful and friendly. They immediately fixed an issue with a fire alarm chirping the next room and got our jacuzzi working right away. I had one security issue, which I will go into under the "didn't like" section.

An issue that we had that we discovered on our last night was a security issue. Our room C202S was next to C202, which was apparently undergoing some repairs since the entire weekend the door to that room was open. The door to that room didn't even have a handle on it, just open holes in the door and it was just closed with a chair on the other side of it that could easily be moved. The maintenance man had been working on the door and at one point I told the desk staff know that the door was wide open and the AC was on, with cold air pouring out. We weren't worried about it until we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room, and neither one of us had on our RFID bracelets. At that point, we realized that next door wasn't just any room, it was an adjoining room. So, we went inside, walked around to the balcony, opened it (it was unlocked) and easily hopped from that balcony over to ours. When we checked in, we noticed that our sliding door was unlocked and didn't appear to have a locking mechanism. After we got back into our rooms, we realized how easy it would have been for ANYONE to break into our room by going through that other room. The room that we were in should never have been rented out while the repairs were going on in the adjoining room, since they couldn't secure the room. Also, the sliding doors DID have locks, but they apparently don't keep them locked. (Ours wasn't locked at check-in and neither was the adjoining room.) Since the locks are not intuitive, it would have been nice to have either a small sign explaining how to lock/unlock the door, or to have the person that showed us to our room, show us how to operate the door. (The door has a small lever that has to be flipped in order to lock or unlock the door.) It's easy to do IF you know it's there.

Comfortably, friendly and a great value.

It’s a fantastic value for those seeking the comfort of a clothing optional resort. The resort is small: just 25-30 rooms, and the size encourages friendly relationships between guests.

The restaurant on site was advertised as reopened, but was closed. We also had to buy extra drinking water to have enough for our room every day.

Excellent place to relax

I loved our spacious, clean and comfortable room, a beautiful swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The hotel is in a quiet area but with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel bar has great coctails and excellent food. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

A little oasis in the town part of Tulum. Nice quiet place without the high prices and typical of the busy tourist parts of Tulum. Many different great restaurants and bars all very close walking distance.

Beautiful and relaxing jungle getaway

We loved that the resort felt somewhat secluded and exotic. The staff were all amazing and friendly, the cocktails were delicious, the food was high quality and inexpensive. Overall, we’d definitely return here and felt welcomed by everyone connected to the resort!

The shower in our room, while beautiful, was a bit difficult to work (ended up using the hand attachment the whole time since we could rarely get it to route to the rain showerhead), and the power went out for an hour or so while we were there…but both of those were minor concerns, and overall we were very content with our stay!

A beautiful fixer-upper

- A chill, clothing optional vibe. - Pleasant staff - Lush green hotel with a lovely pool that swims up right to the rooms - Good, but expensive, cocktails - The pool is open all night!

- The night we arrived we were welcomed by a nice lady at the front desk who told us the jacuzzi in the rooms weren't working because the guy usually turns them on and fills the water didn't come. The next day, he arrived and entered without making himself known, while my partner was in the (open) shower. We laughed that off. It then turned out there was no way to turn off the jacuzzi or the jets because the buttons didn't work, so it ran all night and it is loud. - The food is expensive and pretty average - We came here for the vibes and to meet people, the other frills were secondary. The hotel was too quiet and sleepy with almost no one around, and nothing happening.

This is a beautiful place. It is a compound with wonderful, well maintained landscaping around the central pool. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Two drawbacks. The kitchen is nice but there are essentially no pans. We had one 4 quart pan without a cover and a two quart with. We asked several times for an oven pan and a frying pan but was told they could not find any. There were only two forks, 3 or 4 plates. There were no items such as oil, salt, pepper etc. The second issue was the hot tub. It is turned off most of the time. It seems to be turned on at about 5 P.M. and takes about two hours to heat. The setting was way too high and by 7 people had to get out of the tub. Multiple requests to adjust the settings did not help. We were told the “technician” was the only one who could adjust it and his phantasmagoric presence was never felt.

Outstanding

The room, housekeeping, accommodations, staff, the general vibe of the place, the music and quality of food and drinks, especially compared to how much it costs to stay there— Intima Resort is outstanding and my partner and I agreed if we ever come back to Tulum we will come back to Intima!

Very good

The pool was nice I really enjoyed swimming naked just feeling free.

The hotel room wasn't clean enough the jacuzzi had rocks everywhere. The hotel really have a lot of potential.
