Great stay and great host
The host was exceptionally nice and the apartment was very well equipped with everything needed and specially everything was working properly. We arrived late and left early and the host made our life very easy with his flexibility. The view from the apartment was also interesting and it is very close to the main market.
It was a bit windy and the windows would shake a bit but nothing too bad. The roads around were a bit dark at night but not dangerous at all. There was some construction going on but that is not a permanent feature.

Personable, caring, superb host and excellent, clean, spacious apartment!!!
I would return for another fabulous stay at Apartamento Ana in a heartbeat. Why? The great value, the impressive cleanliness, the thoughtful touches (beer and bottled water in the fridge, laundry detergent to wash clothes, etc.), the central location, the full kitchen, the great beds, the comfortable and spacious apartment. But most of all: Riccardo. Riccardo is the owner, manager, and host. The love and care he put into welcoming us, taking care of our needs, patiently answering our questions and making us feel genuinely at home was simply amazing.
There is some minimal street noise. However, that's to be expected in central Santa Marta and hardly matters when stacked up against all the positive aspects of our stay. Thanks especially to Riccardo, I loved the entire experience. He was a superb, attentive, extremely accommodating host. The apartment itself was great, but the personal touch Riccardo added with his friendly, informative, genuinely caring and considerate nature, made this one of the best apartment rental experiences I can recall. He quickly made me feel welcome, at home, and entirely at ease, even though I had never been to Colombia before. Riccardo lives in the building, so he is readily available when needed. He also speaks excellent English, although I tried to communicate as much as I could with my adequate Spanish. Gracias Riccardo. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Apartamento Ana!

Superb
Riccardo is a very nice host. He was there for us every time we needed any help or directions. The appartment is pretty complete. The kitchen has all the necessary things you need if you want to cook or prepare a meal. When we arrived at the place, Riccardo was waiting for us in front of the building. He also had a small surprise for us. He put some beverages in the fridge for us totally free of charge. It means a lot, specially when you arrive somewhere tired, and when it so hot like it was that day.
Everything was just fine.

home away from home good value clean comfortable apartment in centro historico
Apartamento Ana was like staying in a home away from home. The owner Riccardo was so helpful & communicative, and we could communicate in English which was helpful as our Spanish is basic. The apartment is spacious and clean with working Wi-Fi (it worked best in the lounge area), a washing machine, large wardrobe, kitchen with coffee maker, and handy clothes drying rack. The master bed was a decent size and very comfortable. the ceiling fans were powerful yet quiet so we could still sleep with them on. The ACs worked well. We especially enjoyed the Mountain View from the private balcony with comfortable seating. there are bedside reading lamps in the master bedroom, which was nice for ambient lighting, and the desk and chairs were useful for remote working. . He helped us find the property with tips on transport getting to his place, which is in the centro historico and close to many restaurants & conveniences. Like most accommodation we stayed in the Caribbean coast, the apartment has cold water showers only but we got used to it as the climate is so hot. the apartment is central yet nicely quiet in the evenings for a good sleep. we only booked 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer and would definitely stay again.
It really was a perfect stay.
