Overall a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

What a lovely first impression: warm greetings from your staff, Lupu and warm, soft cookies were greatly appreciated as we had travelled in from Bilbao and did not have a proper breakfast prior. Fantastic location - quiet at the hotel for that homely respite but very accessible (within walking distance) to shopping belts and tourist spots, restaurants & bars. Newish hotel - we had two connecting King rooms that also came with a small common area with a main door that locks up both rooms. Great for our family of 4.

Breakfast was passable but not great. Price point is on the high side.

Just perfect for what we needed.

The warm welcome. Upon arrival we were handed a warm cookie 🍪. Staff was very friendly and helpful and location was great. The gym was basic but more than sufficient. All in all: Just perfect for what we needed.

Our first room had a very small bed and almost no natural light. We upgraded to a bigger room the 2nd night which was much bigger and had windows with natural light coming in. This made a huge different!

fabulous business hotel! I could also use it for leisure tbh

perfectly situated. away from the tourist traps but still 10min walk to all the best spots! the hotel itself is nigh on immaculate and their fitness room is just aces!! breakfast was AMAZABALLZ! very fresh produce and great coffee!!

I only got to stay there two nights. I could easily live there. LOL

A warm cookie instead of a warm welcome or sound sleep.

The hotel location was great - walking distance to restaurants, parks and museums. The hotel smelt very nice and was very clean although there were a couple of odd brown stains on our carpet on check in, this was cleaned when we told reception. Concierge staff in the general reception area were positive, helpful and engaged.

We booked a King Size Superior Room because our main reason was to sleep well as my husband and I work long hours. The site advised soundproof rooms. Whether ours was deemed soundproof was not clear. The room was so noisy from the street, you could hear everything, talking, shouting, cars, sirens, dogs etc. Room 401 on the fourth floor. My husband barely slept across the 3 nights, despite trying ear plugs that he had to buy. I was slightly better, but a couple of nights were seriously disrupted. We came back from trip even more tired. It took a couple of nights to feel human again. Staff - the reception desk staff were transactional or disinterested. They offered basic information and seemed inconvenienced when you approached the desk. No details provided up front about dining, breakfast, room or facilities. Returning to the hotel from day/night out, you smile at the staff on shift and, in return, just get watched as you head for the lift. We did not want to ask to be moved for fear that we would be downgraded or been seen as a bother based on the interactions we'd already had. On the morning we checked out, we told the staff that the room was very noisy and sleep had been compromised or impossible. While the word 'apologise' was forthcoming, there was surprise verging on disbelief that rooms above the first floor could be subject to any/excessive noise from the street. After confirming that we had indeed closed the windows properly, my husband was left with the impression that reception felt that this was clearly not a problem, that the room was sound-proofed and nobody else has reported this problem. I was not asked if we had a good stay/any issues or for any feedback when I checked out which summed up the level of interest.
