Loved having the ocean right outside the door
Tiny step in the ground floor bathroom was not marked and harzardous.

The location...right on the beach. Just sitting on the deck watching and listening to the waves crashing on the rocks was sublime.
The one room was separate from the rest of the house.

Gorgeous property. Everything you need in the house. Amazing views. Wonderful weekend. Kids loved the rock pools. In walking distance to beach (over some rocks). Loved that we could bring our small dogs.
The driveway is not for the faint of heart; but worth it.. I appreciated the advice from the host on how best to enter (from Scarborough direction rather than Kommetjie) and also best way to fit multiple cars. Note, more than two cars could pose extra challenges.

The views were beautiful.
The under floor heating was a bonus.
The pool cover was completely inadequate. It keeps leaves out of the pool and doesn’t keep small children safe. Our toddler fell in the pool within hours of our arrival and sank immediately. It was traumatic for everyone on the first day of our holiday. The owners were well aware that a toddler would be staying in the house and took zero steps to correct the situation (fit a pool safety cover) or warn us in advance that the pool cover didn’t work. On arrival we were simply told to keep our 21 month old away from the pool which was impossible as it isn’t gated and leads straight off the patio.
The beaches are not easy to get to from the house. Neither my mother (65 years old), nor myself (carrying my toddler) could get to the beach over the rocks.
The double garage was not available for use.
The driveway was incredibly limiting. Potential guests should be made aware of the incredibly steep, dangerous and awkward driveway and the lack of space for parking. We had guests doing more than 10 point turns trying to get their cars up and out of the driveway.
The kitchen is poorly equipped. There are no plastic containers or bowls. If we found one it was badly cracked and dirty.
The ice machine was too dirty to use.
The outside room is not suitable for adults. This impacted our entire holiday.

The house has amazing views and I very well equipped. It was great for our group of friends to relax in.
The wifi was not working but this wasn't a huge issue for us. Also, we had been told that the braai was gas but it was actually a charcoal/wood fire. Luckily we had some wood.

Property manager made a lot of effort to deliver the keys and show us around the accommodation. They went above our expectations to make the stay enjoyable. He even organized us some beverages before the weekend lockdown so that we could enjoy a nice wine over the stay.
The location is spectacular, right on the water. Kids loved the rock pools. The house is well equipped!
Bedding was more catered to summer weather and we got quite cold in the evenings and the throw blankets didn't really warm us up in the rooms. However, in the living area is a nice fireplace which heats up the place nicely.

The one bed's matrass in the twin bedroom were not very comfortable

Excellent location, with amazing views and breathtaking sounds of the waves at your door step. The facilities are great, everything required in a household. The stay was good, no complaints at all. Would definitely be back and recommend this venue.

The property's location is superb and well equipped
The 4th bedroom is not quite up to the standard of the other 3 inside the house and is really only suitable for kids
