We arrived earlier than check-in and the reception desk was very kind to give us a room before time. The man at the desk provided us with all the information and maps on how to tour Petra, along with answers to questions about taxi, food prices etc. The shared bathrooms were also cleaned regularly and I really liked staying at this place. Good vibes and many international travellers

The food, the people, the cleanliness

It's a hostel type accommodation, but the bathrooms and everything is clean. The proximity to Petra entrance, the dinner (extra price) was wonderful!

The host of the hostel is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to fulfill the guests' wishes! The Wadi Rum program they arranged was very cost-effective and of good quality.

Good location very near from Petra main entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Everything was super clean with a nice smell. Exceed my expectations for a cabin hostel, i travel with my couple and we can rest in there. Very good food for breakfast!

Staff is absolutely amazing at the Petra Cabin hostel! Sharif was exceptionally kind and extremely helpful with suggestions for how we could get around to the next city on our list, and he was willing to talk through all our questions and ideas. Nice home-cooked style meals and a sweet house cat (named Lucy) cozying about the hostel made for a warm environment. You practically can’t beat the location relative to the Petra entrance, just a short walk around the corner.
Because of the dorm-style room where all the capsules are located, noise from other guests was extremely loud starting at 5am. The windows in the capsule are nice and make for wonderful views but definitely let in the heat of the day and chill of the evening— so come prepared to accommodate the temps (especially at night, depending on the time of year) because the sheets/blankets provided are very thin.

The location is just beside the Petra visiting center. It has all the amenities and great buffet dinner

Capsule/pod design with beautiful view. Amazingly friendly staff. Credit card accepted.
Staircase to the entrance can be scary if you have fear of heights.

Cool option between overly sovial cheap bunkbed rooms and solitary rooms.
It' really close to Petra entrance so it really helps getting right on track as Wadi Musa is quite an uphill walk.
Capsules are quite big for a capsule hotel.
Nice view
Very helpfull staff.
They were ok with leaving there your baggage during visit to Petra (though I supose that depends on situation)
Separated showers, which is nice.
Honestly that was the only hostel out of 5 i stayed in at Jordan who actually had properly drilled sockets. All the others were either only half functional or just hanged from wass without any power, so kudos to this hostel for having that properly done.
No locks on capsules. But then again there is lockable safebox in capsule and they have safes available if needed.
Obviously not exactly soundproof so you should be either heavy sleeper or hope for good neighbours (during my stay ppl were very polite and friendly so wasnt really a problem).
I would wellcome usb port for direct charging, though international electric sockets were in capsules so it was fine

Location is great although it is a bit tricky to find hostel and for that Google had to help me out. On the other hand, food was amazing, truly tasty and not much expensive. I had also really good sleep and hostel is super close to Petra's main attractions. It is clean and well maintained and other guests were also all respectable, calm, tourists.
Perhaps the sign of hostel should be larger or easier to spot from the street. Maybe something should be written on building, as I had to ask for people to show me where the hostel was even though I was standing in front of it's building.

great location for access to Petra. plenty of parking. for a hostel it was. quite clean and comfy. you could purchase snacks and drinks at an inexpensive price. staff was kind and helpful.
be prepared to climb 4 flights of stairs to reach the check-in office. the buffet for breakfast was nothing special. the number of bathrooms was insufficient and always a line for both mens and womens. this is because everyone needs bathroom/showers at the same time….before and after the days hike at Petra. they were very clean and bright though.

Perfect location and room with the view on main gate to Petra and mountains. Owner is really nice and helpful, you can ask him anything and always get answer and really good recommandations. Hostel is clean and quiet despite the shared spaces. The food served is cheap and you won't leave hungry. Tea and water for free. Really recommend this place because of the view, location and atmosphere like home.
You have to climb many stairs to get there but it's really worth it.

The staff is very nice. There was everything what we needed in cabin hostel (plus pont for wifi and hairdryer). The hygiene is amazing, expecially in bathroom. Our cabin is huge, clean and the view is beautiful. The Visitor Center is in 5 min walk distance, so the location is perfect.

Location only a short walk to Petra. Rooms are what you can expect, little bit loud with snoring, people going to bathroom during night etc but that's part of the accommodation type. Perfect for a night or two visiting Petra. Dinner wasn't very tasty but there was endless supply and was very cheap. Very glad we stayed a night instead of getting the bus back to Amman in the evening because there is so much to see in Petra you need two days! Being so close to Petra let us get up and be the first ones at the monastery

Comfortable and quiet. I can recommend this place for a short stay
Breakfast (5JD) was quite poor. Mostly snacks that you can buy cheaper in the nearest shop

If you are looking for an unique experience and for making memories that will last a lifetime, you should stay here!
Amazing Staff, wonderful bed, super quiet, very clean and comfortable. Wonderful location! Great food!! There is nothing more we could ask for.

One of the best hostels I've been to so far! The cabins give you a lot of privacy and even come with a window. Staff is very helpful and could help me with arranging transport after I missed my bus.
Large common area with plenty of snacks or drinks. The location is one of the best in Wadi Rum too, just a few steps and you're at the Petra visitor center.
I booked a desert camp stay in Wadi Rum via this hostel, had an amazing experience there too. :)
Big recommendation.

The place is okay if you want to stay a night relatively close the the entrance of Petra.
The man in the reception was nice and helpful.
The stairs up to the entrance are brutal! Don't stay here if you have heay luggage or a relevant physical impediment. I really wonder what they would do if someone with a reservation came there with crutches or a wheelchair.
If you reserve a "room", be aware that it's not a room; it's a bed (single or double) in a dormitory with a screen that ensures privacy.
The cleaning of the toilets was bad, and they ran out of paper all the time. They should understand that they need to put more than one roll in each toilet in a hostel with that many people.
The showers almost didn't work, with only a little bit of water coming out of them. It should not be expensive at all to fix that.

This place is only recommended if you are traveling solo and are okay with just having a place to sleep.
You do not have a personal room or area to keep your luggage you will have to keep it outside the cabin in the common area. There is a shared washroom which was clean and good to use as it is separate for genders.
It's a Japanese-style cabin, you can google it for a better understanding.
There is a common area (lobby) in the reception area.
Buffet service is for 5JD breakfast and has basic items.
Please note that restaurants in the locality are expensive. Not many vegetarian options.
Headsup for travelers with 🧳 luggage, you have to climb to the third floor as there is no elevator/lift.
The hostel is very close to petra center. 10/10 for backpackers.

Always very clean, cosy cabins

The staff are friendly, the cabins are clean and spacious enough for two people, so quite comfortable for one person. The breakfasts and dinners were top-notch. There is apparently a decent supermarket somewhere in the town, but the supermarkets in the tourist area offer mainly junk snacks and some have some basic fruits. Thus I particularly recommend booking dinners, which are cheaper than restaurant meals and are open for second helpings and really are at the same quality as a buffet dinner I had at the more luxurious Mujib Chalets for twice the price. Also, breakfasts really were available at 6AM for people looking for an early start at Petra.

It's really great hostel, cabins are spacious and comfortable, with a great view to Petra. 😍 Rooms and bathrooms are clean and warm. Lounge area is nice too. The host is very friendly and helpful. This hostel also has a restaurant, with buffet meals.. Location is convenient, it's couple of minutes to Petra visitor center as well as shops and restaurants. 👌
Nothing to declare 😅 Just the stairs all the way up were a bit tricky 😁

Excellent location, extremely nice staff - Hamza, Majdolin, Mohammed - all very helpful. Interesting travellers.
It was not clear what were the fire escape routes/arrangement.
