Tranquil and convenient

So tranquil, really well located, easy drives to everything in the area. Very comfortable, just lovely.

Wonderful family time in the midst of beautiful autumn season. Convenient location for food too.

Beautiful surrounding. Quiet and private. Host was around to welcome us when we check in. Everything is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Maybe providing a dishwasher would be great

A hidden gem amongst the ferns!

just the most beautiful setting, surrounded by ferns, magnolias and a babbling brook. Inside tastefully decorated and the beds! Oh so comfy.

Relaxing & enjoyable.

Beautiful setting, great for families who want to be in a nature setting but still close to nearby towns & attractions, shops & cafes. The house was very clean & had all the essentials so we could cook & eat outdoors for some of our stay. The small creek running through the gardens as a lovely sound to hear at night. Irene & Ben were friendly hosts who kept us updated about our stay. This is a fantastic property for the very reasonable cost.

There wasn’t anything that needed improving, even the neighbour’s cat was welcoming 😊

Easy to see why the ratings are so high! Highly recommend Paddy’s retreat.

Very family friendly; so many little additions like toys & kids plates/cups really did make a difference. The house was spotless, in a great location & so peaceful amongst the surrounding trees.

Beautiful location and house

Absolutely loved this place! Wish I could live here. Stunningly presented inside and out. Clean and simple -- everything just worked. Kids loved it as well. Nice and quiet area: you will get a good nights sleep. And still close to anywhere you may want to explore in the Dandenong ranges.

It did the job.

Location was what we required.

We assumed that being a B&B that bread would of been provided to accompany the packet Vegemite and jam . This wasn’t provided . 3 lights were not working.

Family weekend away was pure bliss

A great family weekend away walking distance to the shops and not far from so many near by attractions. The hosts made our getaway even better providing a beautiful clean cottage and communicating every step of the way

Great little gem, close to everything, we'll be back when we visit Victoria again

A beautiful cottage in a quiet town. Everything we needed was in the cottage. Its very private, great for a romantic getaway. Nothing was too much for the hosts. Thanks Ben and Irene for this beautiful gem.

A Wonderful Holiday Abode

Very comfortable, well appointed cottage in lovely garden setting. Excellent heating/cooling for all weather conditions and abundant hot water for a truly sumptuous bath. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated and generous in it's content. Lovely attentive hosts only too willing to assist with any queries/problems. Thoroughly recommended and we will definitely visit again.

BEN AND Irene were fantastic And friendly. The cottage is beautiful and clean and had everything you want. The breakfast supplied was great (eggs, cereal, bread,honey,jam,vegemite,orange juice,ect) Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Everything was thought of including plunger and coffee There was even insect repellent Great deck to sit out and have a barbecue and a little creek runs through the property The whole place was just exceptional. It was a absolute pleasure to be there first guests and we can't wait to stay again. Thanks for everything Warren Jennifer Alan Alinda

A relaxing family getaway surrounded by nature in the Dandenongs

This is truly a home away from home and it is so lovely to hear the creek outside your door and see the garden outside your window. Our kids loved the little bridge over the creek, playing on the swing set outside and they were wrapped to find toys in their room. They also loved the huge bath. The house is very nicely decorated and there were so many welcoming touches. Breakfast was awesome and the bottle of wine was such a lovely surprise for me and hubby on arrival. Teresa and Barry are so friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area. It was the perfect family winter getaway. Seeing the beautiful king parrots and rosellas in the garden as we were about to leave was a bonus!

Very neat and tidy and comfortable. Owners were lovely, made the check in and check out process easy. Breakfast and facilities were great - made the stay great, relaxed and easy! Would definitely stay again.

A clean, beautifully presented cottage and the ambience of a charming natural setting.

Spacious self-contained cottage reflecting the dedication and passion of its owners in striving to create something special for their guests. Beautifully designed and furnished, this cottage is also presented in immaculate condition to service all needs for a perfectly comfortable getaway. The bush setting includes a gently meandering creek as well as other delightful landscaping features to make it feel welcoming. A very generous breakfast adds to the relaxed atmosphere and was greatly appreciated. Close by are opportunities for pleasant drives to many wonderful attractions which characterise the charm of the Dandenong Ranges. Thank you Teresa & Barry; we loved our anniversary weekend!
