Buena ubicaciones y buena comida
La habitación no es como la que aparecía en booking, las puertas no cerraban bien y oías a todo el mundo que estaba en al zona común cenando o comiendo. Limpieza muy justa y sábanas sucias .

Great riad! Abdul and his team super nice and always available to help you!

Good rooftop
The building has zero ventilation, and the air felt heavy and stagnant — not recommended for people with dust allergies. There is no fan or AC in the room. The shower doesn’t drain, and in fact was leaking out to the room. We did not get the room we booked. A couple of good things: nice rooftop and & we were served an early breakfast.
The riad is situated in a rather rough part of the medina — there will be men offering to show you to your riad. Do not accept their help or their advice. Some honest reviews could have been helpful for us traveling to Fes for the first time. We hope this will be helpful for you too.

The room was very comfortable, the riad was cool and the location great

The location : you are in the oldest part of the medina and it's easy to find your way to the riad.
The rooms are decent size, actually comfortable size if you are 2. We ordered diner and while we though 15 euro per person was expensive, this was actually the best dinner we have had in Morocco. You would pay much more in Marrakesh for touristic place food which is crap.
The manager was friendly. He came to pick me from the train station which was great because you can overpay as a tourist.
The pillows are too high. There should be a high and a normal pillow.

We stayed 2 nights at Riad Gzira and we loved it! Spacious, clean room with comfy beds and nice bathroom. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Medina. Breakfast was delicious and Abdul is so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much from Monica and Gino from Italy

Nice looking riad, we’ll decorated. Breakfast was good & we had dinner at the riad which was also good.
Bathroom had a smell to it.
was very noisy at night.
No facilities to pay by card & wanted payment in Euros which was not helpful for Australians.

Very beautiful traditional building adapted into a wonderful hotel. Rooms are big and majestuous . Breakfast is very nice aswell and you can always ask for some delicious mint tea which is free!

Location is great however it can be very noisy as you are really in the middle of the Medina.
The building is quite old, beds quite uncomfortable and the bed sheets are quite old.

The hospitality provided by Abdul Fattah and Khadija was outstanding. They made us feel at home immediately and looked after us throughout our time at the riad. Abdul Fattah gave us a lot of tips and advice that helped us make the most of our time in Morocco and he went out of his way to help us with everything we needed.
The food cooked by Khadija was also the best we had in Fes. We ended up having most of our dinners at the riad and the team made sure we had something different every time so we can try various Fes specialties.
We really enjoyed meeting Abdul Fattah and Khadija and couldn’t thank them enough for their kindness!

The location is perfect.
This place is really dirty. There were a lot of hairs on the bathroom floor.
On the last day, the group of people started to eat dinner at 10 pm in the lobby. The problem is that this is a really old building and is not soundproof. In my opinion, because of the high ceiling is even something opposite - the echo effect.
Our room was next to the lobby and we could hear every single word. The managers should not propose the dinner at this late time.
You hear the manager talking on the phone at the night too.

Excellent value for money riad. Once you know where you're going Riad Gzira is easy to find. Lovely hosts that are happy to help with anything. I booked my Sahara Desert trip from here and that all went well. Breakfast and dinner here is good and tasty. The dinner portions are huge!
- The door to my room didn't feel that secure
- Small thing but I think the pre-arrival communication could be better
- It would be nice to have some seating on the roof terrace

The host and family was very kind and helpful!
Pic-up from the airport at midnight was no problem. Location is at the beginning of the medina and easy to find (after the first explanation).

I must give a salute to our host Abdul, who explained us some of the “mysteries” of traveling in Morocco. He and his colleagues prepared us good breakfasts, each person 3 euro, and took us to the nearby taxi station where one taxi ride is only 12 mad. Oh, wow, what an amazing stay!

Traditional old town and Riad. The owner was very
helpful and friendly. He gave us so many tips about the place. Also the lady in the kitchen, was super helpful.
Our bed was so hard unfortunately. There was no shampoo or shower gel. The bathroom could be better. There is no such a thing like paying by card.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation and room were good and the breakfast each day was very good. The terrace is lovely and large and sunny.
The accommodation is very central in the local part of the Medina which can feel dark and cold, due to the environment. It is quite overwhelming on arrival. There are not many restaurants to eat at (which were obvious) in close proximity. The medina of Fes is very large and very confusing. It does not all feel the same.

Big bed, warm water under the shower, air condition useful in January, beautiful, quied riad.
Host is really kind, tried to ask all our questions, tell something about the Maroco and Fes.
Breakfast could contain some fruits or veggies, ugly smelt from bathroom which host wasn't able roreduce, noisy air condition made problems with sleeping

good location, very very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast
The bathroom has some smell from sewage. We heard from others that seems most places have sewage smell issues. So it could be a general issue in Fes.

The riad creates cozy feelings like a home. Stuff is very organized and helpfull. Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast and delicious dinner. Strongly recommend the place.
There wasn't anything to not like.

Very good location, only 3 right turns from Bab Rcif gate in the Medina so easy to navigate to and from! Staff were great and the food was very tasty, freshly prepared and authentic. Comfy bed, nice size room with private bathroom and hot shower! toiletries provided. Nice communal lobby and sun terrace. Everyone was very welcoming and helped us organise day trips, guides, tours and anything else we needed. we felt very at home.
Property was a little expensive compared to much nicer places we have stayed in Fès. But you do receive the care and hospitality which makes up for it!

The Riad is amazing, well located and Abdul and his family are among the best hosts we’ve ever had, super attentive, nice and friendly.
Also, we ate every night at the Riad because it was delicious!

This ancient riad right near the beginning of the medina has a lot of character and you can tell it has quite the history, even down to the worn floor tiles. It's a beautiful place with a fantastic terrace view, and Abdul and Ottmann took excellent care of us from arrival to departure - making sure we had a Moroccan SIM card, offering to book tours and transportation for us, and meeting us at our taxi and then escorting us back when we were leaving. Abdul was very caring and graceful, even when we had to last-minute cancel a trip to Chefchaouen because we got ill - he took care of us and offered to go get us some medicine, though luckily we were feeling much better the next day.
Also, the lady chef who only speaks Arabic (I'm so sorry but I don't think we ever learnt her name!) is such a sweetheart and is an amazing cook! The food was wonderful and we ate there every night of our stay, and I don't regret it one bit - and the breakfasts were also filling and delicious. Mint tea is served at your request and we loved that and the food so much that we've been longing for it ever since we got home!
The rooms are all different in size and decor, which I really loved. The toiletries listed as being included are small sachets of shampoo/conditioner, so if you'd prefer to bring your own hair stuff as well as soap/shower gel, definitely do so.
The entire experience made us eager to return to Morocco one day and do more exploring, though we will never forget this first time and this beautiful riad.

Abdul and his family were the most hospitable, kind, and generous hosts. The riad was gorgeous and squeaky clean. AC worked great, wifi was good, shower was hot with good pressure, location was perfect in the medina and the panoramic view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking.
We were greeted with tea on our arrival and shown to our rooms. We chose the option to have dinner, and we're so glad we did! The meals each night were the best food we had in our entire 2 weeks traveling all over Morocco. There was so much flavorful, delicious food, and it was a wonderful way to try and learn more about traditional Moroccan dishes. Abdul helped us with local tips of what to see during our stay and answered all of our questions. He even walked us to catch a taxi on the day we left at 5am so we wouldn't get lost, and gave us breakfast to take with us to eat on the train!
The Riad was so gorgeous and the family went above and beyond to make our stay in Fes memorable. If we ever return, we will absolutely book with them again!
Everything was perfect!

Abdul was very helpful with everything. And the lady chef was so nice to us. Our room was cozy and tge rooftop view was beautiful, though we wish they had a comfy seatings up there. We chose to stay in and dine at the hotel and the meal was good. The beef tagine was a bit dry but the salad and soup was nice. Very good location and great value for money!

Our arrival in Fes and first days in Morocco wouldn’t have been the same without Abdoul. He received us very late at night, and called a restaurant to prepare food for us as everything was already closed at that time.
He helped us to find many places at the Medina.
The Riad is nice, and don’t miss the terrace.
