I liked it.

Everything was really nice, clean, new and the staff was very friendly.

Nothing really. Maybe the washing machine room could have been better it was not clean and the washed clothes was still wet when they came out. I hear that many places close down in the area during the warmer seasons.

Breakfast was amazing, the chef prepared every dish meticulously and with great care and love. The staff were generally great, Keisuke in particular was attentive, patient and a great host who went out of this way to made me feel welcome.

Our second time staying at Yasushi and can’t wait to visit again!

Once again we had a fabulous stay at Yasushi. Just the nicest and friendliest staff, super clean and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and complimentary amazing afternoon brownies, cakes and other goodies. Love the comfortable yukatas they provide that you can just go down to the private onsen in.

Doesn’t bother us but it is a 10min upwards walk to the ski slopes. You can however just leave your gear overnight by the slope for ¥100 only and so walking to and back just got that much easier.

Woderful palce

Overall, it s such a great experience for us. The hotel is 100% like the pictures. Location is about 5 mins walk from the Bus terminal and about 10 mins to the ski area. They hotel offers two nice private onsens per a reservation. All staffs are very helpful, especially, a Japanee guy. Highly recommend.

Phenomenal, best accomodation in Japan

The breakfast was amazing, the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The staff constantly went above and beyond for us from helping us book ski lessons and dinners to lots of recommendations for around town. Every detail was so well thought out and we also loved the private onsen and tea time.

Perfect place to come home to after a day on the slopes. We were very well taken care of!

Thoughtful details really elevated our stay. There was nothing better than finishing a day's skiing and coming back to the complimentary afternoon tea offered by Yasushi. The onsens were also amazing.

It was a little incongruent to see none of the Western staff wearing masks, considering everywhere else in Japan it's expected that you wear them. Depends if this an issue for you or not.

Very comfortable, stylish and friendly for your post powder evenings

Wonderful guesthouse with super cool and friendly staff. Wonderful ambiance. Extremely comfortable. Superb cakes, coffee and breakfast. Really loved it here. Thanks all!

Perfect stay in central town

Everything ! the room was incredibly cozy and perfect for a winter / onsen vibe, the receptionist was the kindest person in the world, the breakfast was just wow! We hadn’t left that we were already looking into when to come back!

Beautiful and charming place to stay !!

Amazing hotel with super super good professional staff. Room was perfect super clean and confortable with a good bed and view . Design’s really nice and private Onsen very confortable. Breakfast huge and super quality . Thanks to the Chief. Manager’s really nice guy and efficient!!

So pampering and comfy

The kinda accommodation where you wish you could stay indoors the whole day. Full service hotel that feels like a homely apartment and rather unassuming from the outside. They had great tea time treats and also helped us book reservations at a nearby restaurant for dinner which seem to be quite popular. We also had a dip at the hotel's own hot spring which is fed by real onsen sources. After the super hot ones we tried outside, this felt rather lukewarm!

Nothing really, except that the wooden floor of our room was so smooth I slipped and knocked myself on the hard edge of the pillar / wall 😅

Top hospitality!

The residence is very cosy, beautifully decorated and with all the amenities that will make your stay comfortable. The possibility to use the onsen privately was greatly appreciated. The breakfast and afternoon tea were very tasty. And above all, the great hospitality of Giorgio definitely made our stay much easier, more pleasant and ultimately unforgettable, as he organized for taxi rides, dinner reservations and even for me to get crutches after I had a skiing accident!

Nothing to dislike. Perfect place at Nozawa onsen.

Always a delightful place to stay, with well-designed decor and exceptionally obliging staff.

Delicious, freshly cooked Japanese breakfasts from seasonal and local ingredients. Afternoon cakes were a treat.

The best! Better than Lego!

This was easily the best place I have stayed at... It was faultless. The standout for me was the staff. I thought the GM was the owner but he was just helping out his friend, the receptionist really gave me all the right advice, and a fellow Aussie working there took me out on the slopes and showed me how to go through the trees and powder.

Very nice hotel to get back to after a full day ski/snowboard

private onsen, great staff (with a special mention to Giorgio who made us feel welcome even before visiting Nozawa), room with nice decor and a great tv (same size of the one we have at home!), 4PM snack and coffee was nice!

one of the two private onsens was regularly colder than the other, the property is somewhat far from the slopes and a 5 minutes walk into town.

Excellent

It s an absolutely amazing place. The building was recently renovated, the lobby and rooms are very clean and inviting. Excellent rooms with everything you would need. Private onsen is on the first floor. Very nice breakfast. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very close to the center of the village and ski lifts. Hope to stay in this place again in the near future.

Exceptional

Everything was great there. They kept the facilities and the room very clean and comfortable for us to stay. Very friendly staff to welcome us in. Would love to come back again for another stay!

The only thing we didn’t like was the temperature of onsen. The water was way too hot to go in and had to cool it down with a very cold water for a while. However, the onsen was a private one which was a very good experience for guests!
