Overall an amazing stay - would definitely recommend!!

Staff were friendly, location is great, room was large and modern with very strong air conditioning, and facilities were great - loved the pools!

Only minor complaint was the bathroom was small and water kept leaking out of the shower which meant a constant wet floor towel - however staff changed this daily and we had ample spare towels to use.

Handy place to stay for centre of Singapore

Great location, handy for rail and food destination next door. Hotels own bar at street level was not over expensive. Nice relaxing pool area but only five recliners.

Nowhere to place soap/shampoo in shower but on the floor. Elevators could be slow. One was off over two days during our stay. Outside of hotel needs a coat of paint and windows need cleaning.

Value for Money for Modern Hotel in Perfect Location

We loved everything! The location was absolutely perfect , not only was it smack bang in the middle of the city centre, there was a mall right underneath the hotel with lots of food options, a supermarket (Fair Price) and two pharmacies. All the staff were lovely and greeted us with a big smile all the time. The room was spacious and modern with stunning views of Marina Sands and the CBD. There were also two swimming pools, a gym and a sauna, which we took full advantage of. The lifts smelled like pina colada and bubblegum! We had informed the hotel that we were staying there for our honeymoon. When we got into the room there was a sweet message on the bathroom mirror for us, then we came back to the room with complimentary cheesecake waiting for us.

The shower drainage was a bit odd. The water would flow under the shower door through to the drain outside of the shower stall, so our bathroom floor was wet all the time. They also tried to (but didn't end up) charge us for ice even though we went to fetch it from the restaurant ourselves.

Great Stay at Peninsula Excelsior Hotel

Great hotel in a wonderful location. Reception, concierge and housekeeping staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and provided with a safe and small fridge. Very useful. Loved the poolside. Wish I had used both pools! Was given complimentary late checkout which was so very helpful.

Breakfast is expensive for what it was. Breakfast staff could be a little more welcoming. Perhaps best not to put a family with a crying baby in a room with a non soundproof adjoining door!

Central place great for stopover

Great location near city hall station (airport line). Easy walk to waterfront bars and restaurants. Beautiful spacious rooms that are quiet with comfortable (very hard!) bed.

Decent but not up to expectations

Very good and convenient location. The room was spacious and comfy. Nice pool and very helpful staff.

Several aspects need improvement: - The room was not properly cleaned. - The bathroom was very small, and when taking a shower, water leaked all over the floor. There were also issues with hot water. - The top floors were undergoing renovation, resulting in constant noise from morning until 6 PM. - The buffet breakfast was average and not worth it. Pastries seemed a few days old, and while there were a few decent choices in Asian cuisine, overall it was lacking.

Location was good

Over priced , nothing in the fridge , loud noises and banging at 3am every night , maintenance was going on and was not conveyed at all .

Great location, clean and modern facilities and helpful staff

The location was perfect for us and very central to where we wanted to be.

The newly renovated shower in our room let too much water escape making the floor very wet. But otherwise the room was very comfortable and clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very accommodating when we required extra bedding comfort. Room was quiet. Location very good.

No Shuttle bus service to and from airport. No minibar, no wine glasses. More information, like Visitor information centre, from staff about sights and places, what to see and do, and best places for dining.

Perfect Singapore location and view

-I love the location of the hotel — few steps away from City Hall station, too many food restaurants nearby -I love the view of our hotel room — basically Singapore in one pic -Staff are very polite and accommodating, esp Nick who handled my check-in I’ll definitely be back in this hotel.

-The property is undergoing maintenance, but that’s understandable.

Cher mais belle vue!

L'emplacement, la vue!

La salle de bain inondée à chaque fois que je prend une douche, les matelas dur, très dur, et c'est cher sans petit déjeuner, et soucis de robineterie qui m'est resté tous les matins dans les mains, 3 cartes 1 pour la chambre 1 pour l'ascenseur... et une autre !

Very pleasant with great staff

Property under going renovations and hotel manager and staff very helpful in accommodating our needs and requests. I may ad that we would not have chosen this hotel had we known but sadly booking.com were not good at highlighting the ongoing renovations

Perfect but eat out

Everything, bar the food, was excellent

Great location, lots food options..

Location is very convenient only few minutes away from the MRT station where takes you to the airport or anywhere you wish to go.

There was some noise from construction in day time.. but it stops after 5 pm so, was ok for me.

Если вы бывали в старых отелях в Китае, то вы должны понять аналогию, отель уставший. Сам номер можно брать для того чтобы бросить свои вещи и ночевать в нем. Уборная грязная по годам выслуги, на стене видели таракана. Нужно быть готовым ко всем этим прелестям жизни бюджетного туриста.

Please do a quick renovation or downgrade the Hotel

The location is indeed good

The room needs a refresh. The cabinets, the curtains and the bathtub were spoiled and deteriorated. The AC is so noisy and it’s just on or off. The mattress was so uncomfortable

Great hotel. Excellent location.

Great location close to MRT Easy walk to China Town Room was spacious & clean. Ensuite was clean & well serviced with clean towels daily. Hotel is currently undergoing major renovations so I expect bathrooms etc will be updated. Our stay was not impacted by the renovations despite being advised work would be being completed & there may be more noise than usual.

Showing its age, but still a great base for exploring Singapore.

A great central location, walking distance to many places of interest. Plenty of space in the corner king-bed room with useful interconnecting door to a twin room. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Lobby and pool area present well, and all staff (especially concierge team) were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in the middle of significant renovations. Our rooms were quite dated. The furnishings were tired and modern conveniences such as phone charging points near the bed were missing. Although it was clean, the bathroom is ready for an overhaul.

Sensational!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. Fabulous location; exceptional staff. We left an iPad in a taxi from the airport and the concierge went out of his way to help us recover it. We were also upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the bay. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was delicious with so much selection but some of the dishes could be a little warmer.
