Exceptional

Very comfortable and the staff is amazing, particularly Mehmet in the kitchen. He was fabulous. Sami at reception was very helpful. The location is exceptional.. Great cats

Superb

Great location, few minutes from Sultan Ahmet mosque. Very helpfull employes, they provided me free parking in front of apartment. Breakfast was ok, typical for open buffet breakfast. Room cleaned every day.

Exceptional

The suite was very comfortable. There were two rooms so it was very spacious and comfortable for a family. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is fantastic and the staff was lovely.

Very good

I stayed here 12 years ago and was surprised to see that the hotel is still in a good condition. Location is great: all main sightseeing spots of Sultanahmet are minutes walking distance away. Breakfast was okay.

Bed was very uncomfortable (too soft) to my taste, my back was hurting. Unfortunately, they gave us only 1 key for 3 people and said more keys were not available (can't they program more plastic cards?).

Given the lack of hot water and compromise for a late check out, wish I had stayed elsewhere.

Our room was tasteful, fridge and lounge area was great to have. bed was comfortable. Sooooo close to some of the big sites. We utilized the rooftop, for a glass of wine at night. A little store for water etc, is a block away.

Often no hot water, called three times for toilet paper and towels (they were never received), ended up going to front desk across the street. Tried to do a late check out, hoping to be accommodated. We just wanted a few hours, despite the hotel being empty they wanted to charge a full nights accommodation, I was willing to pay half. No compromise. Check in process is in another building in conjunction with another hotel. Had to wait for a dispute with another guest to be resolved. All the restaurants in the neighborhood are wildly overpriced and not very good. In terms of dining convenience, it’s not great. neighborhood is charming, but needed up eating in other neighborhoods.

Would definitely recommend!

Finally,I came up writing a review 🙂 Our stay in Istanbul was not long but it is sure best time in our life part. The stay at the hotel was quite awesome. The most I would like to mention the housekeeping lady, she is so adorable. Feels that she is the person with the big soul. The room apperead for me at the picture bigger but in fact it was smaller but that is not a big issue,the furniture is good, the view from the balcony is stunning. Recommended

The bathroom needs to have more ventilation as if you keep it close for a night, the bathroom gets very smelly.

the rooms are not cleaned properly.The rooms and bathrooms have aged and require attention.The bathrooms were never cleaned properly.The bath tub was filthy.The sink had dirt marks on them even after room cleaning service.

solo traveller or young boys? Go! couple? Don’t

The location is excellent and it’s quite easy to get to, also with your car.

As a regular Hilton and Marriot guy, I saw a picture with a jacuzzi on their page. It also has a great location so I wanted to give it a shot. Arrived at the place, I found out you have Azade hotel, Azade Suites and Hippodrome hotel. I was sent from the one to the other, seems that they’re working together. When I entered my room, I saw an old sofa, a bed, a closet and a mini-bath from which the jacuzzi-function didn’t work. Yeah so that’s a disappointment.

It’s an amazing place! Clean, really close to everything you need to visit in Istanbul. The staff is really nice and kind.

Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t working but it wasn’t a big deal!

The area is accesible to main atraction points. The layout is spacious and beds are very comfortable. Nice view of the Blue Mosque. The staff very helpful and polite.

The bathroom door a little outdated, couldn't close very well.

Located at excellent place with walking distance to blue mosque, Haji Sophia and Grand bazar. Close access to metro, tram and fairy stations. Hotel is clean with very nice staff.

The suits are small as it appears in pictures, but overall it is good value for money.

Perfect place to stay in Istanbul

We had the family room and it was amazingly comfortable. Spacious place, two rooms, balcony and well equipped bathroom. Location was perfect, a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood, the mosques and shops at walking distance.

Good location

The water heater was not working despite informing the staff about it. Terrible service by the front desk staff. Breakfast was also average. Not much choices to choose from. Not recommended.

Apartment standard fall down.

i am a regular guest in this apartment since 2009 , this trip was shocked to me , the apartments where look very low , in everything, i spoke to the manager, informed them to do maintenance and refurbishment. other wise costumers will not come again. I will not stay there anymore. Sorry
