Great location but tiny rooms

The proximity to the historical landmark and ease of transportation to various places. The staff were really helpful and kind.

Rooms were smaller. Didn't expect it to be this small. The beds are not friendly for people with back problems.

A lovely boutique hotel in a Vivid touristic area

The staff, all of them are so adorable. The location is near to sultanahmet and ayasofia, but the area is very touristic and hence, very expensive. Try to have launch and dinner outside or takeaway from restaurants at other areas or malls. They have some souvenirs and touristic bazar around and nearby.

We were on a third floor with no lift. This like a boutique hotel or maybe a guest house, so the entrance isn’t very obvious. It took us ages asking the street and the whole neighborhood about it and nobody knew where It was. The reviews here on booking said that breakfast was in other hotel but fortunately was on top of the building with sultanahmet view, but when we asked for that, they said top floor breakfast is not available only downstairs breakfast is available, but to be honest, the staff at the breakfast restaurant were very sweet, caring and humble.

Great hotel

The hotel was very well located, clean, nice staff. Not much to complain about. Great value!

The breakfast was in another hotel. It's very close so it wasn't too much of an issue.

Hippodrome Hotel: Better for Solo/Budget Travellers

Behavior of staffs was very good.

The images of rooms projected in the Booking.com site was not at all matched in reality. Room was small, view from the room didn't meet the expectations. It is Good for Solo/Budget Travellers. But, for family, you may think twice before staying.

Great location, staff and price

Hotel is at the really good location and the staff was really helpful. Especially the receptionist who helped us with everything - thanks Guznar! Also our room had a nice view on the sea and on Blue Mosque. We got a really nice deal with great price.

The facilities were a bit old and wifi wasn't very fast, but other good things made our stay exceptional.

Good location, but not worth the price in our opinion

The property is in a good location, very close to a small bazaar and Hagar Sophia. The staff were also nice.

The rooms are very poor - in need of some TLC. The bathroom was also old, chipped tiles, rusty edges etc

Shabby and in desperate need of repairs. Great location.

Location was great

The sea view room was in a bad state and in need of many repairs. There were wires just hanging out of the wall making it very shabby. The a/c was old and clearly broken. It made so much noise we had to switch it off and sleep with the windows open which of course made it the street noises very loud. The bathroom constantly smelt like sewage. The bedroom had 4 lights, one of which didn’t work, and the others with broken shades. All in all the room was uncomfortable and left us tired with not enough sleep for the next day

Pleasant

good location in sultanahmet area, a lot of restaurants and shopping stores nearby

small room which hasn't been properly cleaned since the "grand opening" . dirty windows and mirrors, very bad smell in the bathroom and old furniture. a big plus was the terrace with a sea view, too bad they never clean it

Disappointing

i liked the location it was near sultan ahmet mosque and hagia sophia , markets near by and open 24 hours and close to other attractions. the staff is good.

well acutally i got decived in booking the pictures of the rooms and the hotel were perfect while what i saw a small room and does not deserve that value of money, staff were good about the breakfast it was fair.. cleanliness was poor.

Great location. Very nice staff.

Lack of cleaning. We had room cleaning every day but it was never hoovered. Balcony never cleaned.

Disappointing

1) Staff was trying to help as much as they could.

1) Poor maintenance of Room 2) Bath Room in bad condition. It was clean but not maintained properly 3) Breakfast was very strange and not properly organised 4) Huge difference in what you see in pictures and what you get.
