Very good

The location and surrounding

One day there was no eggs for breakfast ( they were giving bread, butter, marmalade, milk, eggs). There was problem with bath room drainage. Water was only slowly drained while bathing. There was water up to feet level after bath.

Exceptional

Nice neighborhood and garden, really close to a shore, center and botanic garden. Comfortable beds, good internet

Everything was good, only thing that confused me was method to check-in and check-out. It could be explained more, to be clearer

Passable

The location is very good.

The room was a little bit cold, you make your own beds, there is no staff around and feels very impersonal. There are no amenities, not even shampoo or body wash, the water in the sink was cold.

I'd recommend, if you don't mind sharing the space with other guests. Great for couples or solo.

Excellent location, and very nice room and large kitchen. Very accessible and has a cute charm to it.

The cleanliness could have been better. Some of the foods was spoiled or moldy. The showers and personal fridges were also moldy. Also when there are other guest staying in the other rooms the noise carries and it can be very loud.

Disappointing

It's an excellent location. You can see the old wall from your window. From the outside house looks really cute. And I suppose during the warm season garden should be lovely. I can't say much about the noise because I was there during the winter, it was almost no people. Bad sheets and towels are clean

From the inside, you can see that the house needs renovation. The tap in the bathroom is leaking, problem with ventilation, since there is not much light in the room you can't really see how clean it is (see attached photos). The pillows are old. Breakfast surprised me! Its more than humble (see attached photos), its a breakfast for 1 person for 2 days.

Good

The B and B was charming and in a great location in the old city of Visby. Although we didn’t meet the staff everything was well organised with a simple self service breakfast and easy key colllection.

Very poor

No manager on premises, when electricity went out, wasted 1-2 hours getting hold of someone. The number given on Booking.com confirmation did not work. Calling booking.com and they gave me another number which ended up being office somewhere outside Gotland, answered by the manager who said he wasn't in Gotland! Another couple had been waiting 3 hours outside because their key was not in the promised place, and they too could not reach management. Book at your own risk.

Quiet, peaceful and pleasant

Well, any reviewer here will tell you that the location is fantastic. Check in was easy. The room itself was very plain and bare and not much to look at, but I already knew that, the pictures were not misleading. The selling point was the balcony and the view of the sea, the park, an obstructed view of the ruins. It's a good price, comfortable and convenient if you don't require anything very fancy. Breakfast items were very basic but adequate, we didn't mind getting a few groceries to supplement the supply, the kitchen was well stocked for making your own meals so you can save money but not eating out for 3 meals a day. Very nice to sit and have a glass of wine on the balcony at sunset.

It would be nice if there were more towels, we had to reuse the same ones over and over, and there were no laundry facilities on the premises- finding a laundromat open when we needed one was quite difficult, so that was a little bit of a problem. There are no staff there to speak of and the owner is not especially communicative, so if you there's something you wish to discuss, don't hold your breath waiting for him to get back to you. There were lactose free breakfast options available, but if you require gluten free you will have to get your own- not a big deal of course, just something you may want to note if that applies to you. We got by okay supplementing the food that was provided with some items from the Torgkassen on Stora Torget.

small & cosy with a true Swedish touch - we loved it!

small courtyard in the middle of a bussing medieval city w good kitchen and do it yourself breakfast! and walking distance to the boat and the university - a double plus for us

Pleasant

The B&B has a lovely inner garden.

The breakfast (which guests are responsible for assembling/cooking themselves) could be a bit more varied. Also, it was at times a little awkward with guests in one building trying to use the kitchen at different times. We had to make our own beds, and the room was not cleaned or resupplied with towels while we were there.

Value for money.

Even tough there is no staff on site it feels safe. It is clean and comfortable. Good location. The breakfast arrangement works well as long as all guests follow the instructions.

Perhaps a little more instructions on where the recycle station is located otherwise it is a pretty perfect place to stay if you want to sleep and have breakfast.

Help yourself B&B in good location

Super location, lovely garden and easy use key system. Rather good recycling possibilities, we missed only a bin for paper. Kitchen in our own use in the apartment was good as we made dinners there too. Very silent surroundings and good curtains to get the room dark.

I asked about possibility to get gluten-free & vegan breakfast during booking, but they never replied a word. Rooms were quite but not properly cleaned. Kitchen equipment were insufficient, for example there was no peeler in our kitchen. We were five persons in two rooms and another kitchen (shared) was better equiped, having also a peeler. I would have appreciated one more larger kettle, few more soup plates and mugs and sharp! knives too. The china were disproportionate. There were 22 shallow plates but only 5 soup plates, 4 mugs but lots of glasses. We killed about 20 small ants inside. There was no hand soap in the larger apartment.

It was okay but it could have been better.

The place is so close to everything.

There was no breakfast that we could eat as vegan even after we wrote in the booking as a note and contact the b &b owner, they said it’s not possible to get even a simple spread.

Location is close to city centre and beach

The place is not clean, lighting in the room is very bad and some lights in the living room were not working. Beds are dirty and uncomfortable. My partner got a severe dust allergy

Stayed in apparently the newest house on the plot . Very neat, convenient kitchen and small terrace with nice view

The dirty dusty rooms Kettle in kitchen did not work The mattress cover which was badly stained made me feel sick The noise from other inconsiderate guests early morning slamming doors, making a mess and a noise in the kitchen at 6 am!,,, and leaving dirty dishes in the kitchen Will not stay again I’m afraid
