The complex is the best one on the beach with a 150' Waterslide, indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, miniature golf course, basketball court, tennis court and ping pong! The complex also has both gas and charcoal grills and a mini-store on site My Condo has 2 bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and private bath. The second bedroom offers two Twin beds with a pull out twin With a tv. Perfect for kids. The sofa in the living room is a queen bed pull out. This unit sleeps 6 comfortably. The living room has a flat screen HD TV and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a dining area, drink bar, washer, dryer and dish washer.

We enjoyed the stay and was happy about it being on the first floor. My only complaint was the spigots were black. They coated thick with black mold where they hadn’t been cleaned for so long

Our family of 4 with 2 small children stayed for a week. The condo was a good size and we loved the trundle beds for the kids. The appliances could use an update but we had everything we needed. The pools are amazing and the beach access was perfect. The grounds are well maintained and we really enjoyed being close to Beaufort and Moorehead. We'll definitely rent here again. It was perfect for the kids!

Can't beat a Place at the Beach with its pool, waterslide, and easy access to the beach. The condo is nice and the host (John) is very friendly and responsive. Staff at a Place at the Beach are/were friendly too. Would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay here at the property. It was me, my wife, and three kids, aged 11,11 and 13. There was plenty for the kids to do on site place was clean and very quiet after 1030 at night will definitely stay again.

My family which consist of myself, my spouse, an 11 year son and a 14 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night, 5 day stay at A Place At the Beach. There were many things to do and see. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were nice. The kids really enjoyed the 150 water slide. They made lasting friends who we will keep in touch with going forward and hopefully visit same time, same place summer! They slept well at night! Jon was very easy to get in touch with and maintains a very clean and quaint atmosphere at his rental. Everyone wanted to spend a couple days more but unfortunately, all good things must come to and end! Thanks Jon and hope to visit again next summer! We happily rate your rental at 5 stars!

Overall, the condo was nice. The main pool with the slide on the property was not operational and this was not disclosed to us prior to our stay. As one of the selling points, this was disappointing. The condo itself was nice enough. We did have an issue finding clean linens for all the beds (and we noted how many people would be in the condo so all beds should’ve been ready) including coming across sheets with big stains loaded in the linen cupboard. Overall, it was nice enough for our long weekend away.

Overall our stay was good. Walk to the beach is a little far, but our unit was one on the opposite end of the building. Lots of stairs which made it hard to navigate between beach and pool with a wagon with little ones and beach stuff. Water heater in condo was very small, someone was always taking a cold shower. Pools were great having availability to go to indoor or outdoor was nice. Condo was clean. Front bedroom could use light blocking curtains as the hallway light it’s very bright. We were only give one single key it would have been nice to use keypad or have a spare for both adults. We would likely stay again because what all it offers kids.

Perfect location for a family getaway. The amenities at A Place at the Beach made our stay effortless and enjoyable for everyone. Although this unit does not have beach views, it is a short walk to the beach and very pleasant. I would certainly book again.

This resort has great amenities on site, including two great pools and the beach. The four of us stayed over a long weekend and enjoyed swimming, mini-golf, basketball, and even some bowling on the lawn. The owner was very responsive to a small issue we had and followed up the next day to make sure we were satisfied. Overall a great experience.

Owner was extremely accommodating and responsive. Staying at the end of the summer season, I felt the condo was not as clean as it could have been. Carpet definitely needed to be cleaned. Overall, the condo was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The guard at the security gate set the tone for our entire stay. Courteous, friendly, and patient. From the office staff to the maintenance crew & housekeeping, my family and I were treated to smiles and "hello's" everyday. The condo was clean and spacious enough to accommodate my family of 4. The pools were not crowded so we were able to enjoy hours of fun. We enjoyed having the beach so close and took advantage of the many amenities on the property when we didn't want to get in our car and drive someplace. 5 stars for the property and 5 stars for the host! Simply wonderful!

Needs a good cleaning

All communication with the property owner was friendly and fast—lovely experience. Check in as always was wonderful—APATB has the friendliest office staff, but this condo needed to be cleaned. The carpet was absolutely filthy, even considering it’s a beach condo, and the floorboards and air returns were also filthy. The closets were filled with bags of towels and sheets and therefore unusable. We did not have enough blankets to use the pullout couch, though I’d stated we would be using it. The owner was very nice and offered to compensate me for purchasing one,—and what else could he do? That was an adequate solution, but that didn’t help me when I discovered no blankets at 10 PM and needed to put kids to bed. (I ended up borrowing one from friends in the area.) The condo was very comfortable though, and the kitchen was well stocked enough to afford food preparation. In all, I have stayed at much cleaner condos at the same property for this price. If this condo just were cleaned up a bit, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This condo is located at a fantastic crystal coast location. Very quiet with loads of space on the sand for all beach activities. The resort has great amenities and the slide pool was a hit with the kids. Unit was as advertised and clean. Owner was very responsive.

Convenient location and enough room for 4 adults and one teen. The owner, Mr Holt was very accommodating and easy and prompt with communication. He even allowed us to extend our stay !! Loved this experience and would definitely recommend.

Unit was set up with everything needed. From the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The washer and dryer was a great asset to have. It is obvious the owners have put lots of effort into making this a nice place to stay. There was a cleaning issue and the owner took care of it immediately. One note, this unit is not beachfront. I mention this because I assumed it was. My mom and brother both have major issues getting around so I was hoping they would at least be able to see the water. Again, I just assumed it was but there is nothing in the listing about it being waterfront. Even though this unit is on the first floor, there are quite a few steps to go up. Again, traveling with family that have mobility issues is the reason I mention this. I can recommend this unit whole heartedly and can reassure anyone that rents this that any issues you have will be taken care of immediately by the owner. Very nice person

We had a great Time this week at this condo. The room was Conveniently located by both pools, the beach, parking, and the hot tub. My Kids loved the pool and slide! We enjoyed the onsite activities like mini golf. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The listing is very accurate and the owner was easy to get ahold of. I think better check out instructions would be helpful because I was nervous I didn’t do something right but other than that I have zero complaints. We will definitely be back!
