About this condo rental
Nestled in Atlantic Beach, this attractive condo for £298 per night is a great option for your next vacation. JUST UPDATED! Beautiful 3 BR condo with two and a half baths all on one level, with elevator and/or the stairwell to get up one level to the unit. A perfect day would be a walk on the beach in the morning watching the dolphins glide by, perhaps fishing, playing on the beach, a little pool time, nap time, and then sit on the screened deck watching the sunset. Condo sleeps 6: * King in master with bathroom; * Queen in 2nd BR (half bath); * 2 twins in 3rd BR (hall bath). *** Self check-in and self check-out. Individual codes for keypad on front door. *** This is a no smoking property. No smoking in the condo, or around the pool, elevators, second floor common areas. Parking passes (2) provided for your stay. Renters park in the designated spaces in front of the building, not under the buildings. There are carts to load/unload your belongings and take up the elevator to the condo. ********* Please use the shower down at the beach walkway between the two buildings to shower off any sandy toys, chairs, kids before coming up on to the condo. Thank you! *** New in 2023/2024: Vinyl plank flooring throughout Tiled shower in master bath Vanities and toilets in all 3 bathrooms Kitchen countertops and tile backsplash TVs mounted on walls ****** New in 2022: New Roku smart tv in "twin" bedroom New Spectrum DVD/dvr's, new wifi tower *** New in 2021: - Freshly painted throughout condo - King mattress and box springs in master - Living room furniture - New TV's in two bedrooms (40") *** Bring your own beach towels, but I have the other linens. Towels are in the dresser in the king bedroom. We have a washer-dryer in the unit; but please bring your own detergent and dryer sheets. *** The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans; and you can use the charcoal grills located by the parking lot to cook a fantastic dinner while you are there - steaks and/or seafood on the grill? Or how about just hamburgers and hot dogs? I have included a picture of the grill area for our building. There are also some excellent restaurants nearby. *** Check-in is at 4 p.m.; check-out at 10 a.m. Ask me in advance if you need earlier or later. I would appreciate if guests would remove shoes at the front door. If you break something, please let me know and attempt to replace it. This complex is near the Carteret county aquarium, ranked 9th in the country, and Pine Knoll Shores, which was recently advertised in Coastal Living! You can watch the dolphins and even the kite surfers from the deck of the condo or the gazebo! There is also a day dock on the sound side across the street, by the overflow parking lot and boat storage area. Parking passes (2) provided for your stay. Park in the parking lot, not under the building. If you don't find a space, there is an overflow lot across from building 1. No smoking and no pets! Sorry, the Homeowners Association guidelines say that renters and/or guests are not allowed to bring pets. Saturday to Saturday rentals, unless otherwise agreed upon. Safety First!! Ocean: Please look at the warning signs/flags out at the beach. If you see red flags, that means NO SWIMMING. Can you put a tent on the beach? Small tents/canopies are allowed on our beaches, provided they are properly secured (tents over 200 ft & canopies over 400 ft need a permit). However, we strongly recommend that these structures are not left up overnight. Objects left on the beach overnight may interfere with nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, and they also have a tendency to go missing when they are left unattended. In order to keep your visit safe and enjoyable, we suggest that any structures be removed from the beach at night. Monthly rates will have two cleanings - one in the middle, and one at the end. This unit is privately owned. The homeowners are NOT responsible for ANY accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur to the renter(s), or any guests or visitors of the renter(s), while in the unit, on the premises, or while using any community facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or of any harm to others whom they invite to use the premises. 8. Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, deposit paid will be refunded as follows: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: -The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or -A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. -The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: -Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; -Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and -Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

We have spent many vacations on the outer banks and this one did not disappoint. The condo was clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated, and comfortable. However, it does need some upkeep. The master bedroom toilet ran intermittently and several cockroaches were spotted. My advice to the owner would be to get a better property manager.

Very clean, and everything as described in listing. Fantastic beach and easy access to beach boardwalk. Best building for parking at Dunescape. Close to grocery store and causeway activities, so you can avoid the heaviest traffic. We hope to book the same unit for next year, once I have vacation dates approved.

Excellent Vaca
It was a perfect home away from home. Very safe and quiet community. The condo was clean, inviting and had everything you could need/want to cook all meals. You can sit in the living room and/or bedroom (as well as the balconies) and listen to the ocean. The beach access is right there, so it was very easy to take the little to the beach . We had an excellent time and cannot wait to come back. Its the perfect place to checkout of everyday life/stress. Just what my soul needed. :)

Great Place Ocean Front.
We could not hope for a better owner. This condo was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. I will be more than happy to continue rent it again. The owner, Mrs. Dempsey , is great to work with.

Pretty nice but needs cleaning.
It was fine , needs a thorough deep cleaning. It was surface clean only. The coffee maker was especially dirty. I had to really scrub before using. Some of the dishes had some residue, maybe they had not been used over the winter. The showers, bottom of doorways and windows need thorough cleaning. The beds were comfortable and dining area and den area were nice. Great view and short walk to the lovely beach.

Con's: Living spaces are small, bathrooms are small, balconies are small (4 chairs on main balcony, one chair on master balcony), small kitchen; overall would not be enough room for 6 adults.

Wonderful Fall Break in Atlantic Beach!
We had such a great 4 night stay at Jenny’s condo. My 78 year old parents had been wanting to visit Beaufort and Atlantic Beach, and it was important that we stay oceanfront with not too many steps to the beach or the car. Also, my 14 year old son needed to have reliable WiFi to attend two days of online school. This condo was able to meet our needs and turned out to be the perfect spot for some special family time together. The Dunescape community is conveniently located close to grocery shopping and take-out restaurants in Atlantic Beach. The easy access to the beach and cleanliness of the well maintained facility was appreciated. The view from the two condo balconies is amazing, and we enjoyed just sitting and listening to the ocean each morning. The condo is not brand new, but it is thoughtfully furnished, clean, and comfortable. Jenny was a great host- always quickly responding to our messages. Check-in and check-out procedures were clear and simple. Covid precautions were taken seriously. Thanks for a wonderful fall break- it was one of the highlights of this unusual year! We’d love to come back again!

The property was at a good location and great views and sounds of the beach. The owner, Jenny was quick to reply to any questions I had. The pools were not open, and that was the one thing I had hoped for, but the weather was great for the most part and we enjoyed the beach. Would definitely book this place again in the future.

Wonderful property
This was my family’s second time staying here and it was fabulous. The beach access and views are unparalleled. The property feels so homey and comfortable. We were just a short drive from all our favorite places. Jenny was very communicative and happy to help or answer any questions. This is a wonderful value and my family and I hope to book again next summer !

Enjoyed our stay
Great location with an amazing view from the balcony. Ran into a problem, and Jenny didn't hesitate to make things right. Parking was never a issue. Jenny was always quick to answer any questions that I had. I wouldn't hesitate to rent the unit again in the future. We enjoyed our vacation, and on the last day there while we were in the ocean three dolphins jumped out of the water about 50 yards away from us.

last minute booking
We booked this property one week prior to our stay due to the cancellation of a reservation we had held for several months through a different booking sight. This was one of the suggested properties provided and it was perfect for our needs. The condo was bright and well-equipped. It had an ocean view and we loved the screened in porch that looked over the dunes to the ocean. We had a three year old grandson with us and it was very child friendly and convenient to get to the beach and the pool. The property owner was very responsive and enabled us to get into the property on a last minute booking. We would definitely return to this property !

Evacuation...
The weather was not very good related to the impending hurricane. The pool was locked on Tuesday as a precaution...the homeowner had no control over... Jenny kept us updated on evacuation and unfortunately we had to leave after 4 days...She responds quickly and efficiently. Unit is nice, clean and has a fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful ocean front condo- will definitely return
This property and neighborhood in general is very beautiful, perfectly located, and incredibly relaxing. My family and I especially loved the porch and the convenient beach access. All of our favorites in Atlantic Beach and Morehead City were very close. The only downside of this property at all was the sand we found in the beds upon our arrival; all the beds in the house found this to be the case. Besides that, and after some cleaning we did, our stay there was fantastic.
